Summer skin! Cure Water Treatment Skin Cream

It is so hot in Michigan now it feels like we skipped spring and went right into middle-of-summer. When it is hot out, I don’t want thick, creamy moisturizers…my skin craves light and cool hydration. I also don’t want to have to layer skin care products. Even the thought of it makes me feel like I am suffocating. My favorite go-to on hot summer days is Cure Water Treatment Skin Cream ($32).

Cure Water Treatment Skin Cream

I don’t think I have ever tested a moisturizer quite like the Cure Water Treatment Skin Cream before. First, it’s a multi-tasker, acting as a toner, moisturizer, and makeup primer all in one. It’s also oil-free, which helps create that super light texture. The Water Treatment Skin Cream works for all skin types, but it is especially amazing on dry skin. For as light as this skin cream is, it sure hydrates and keeps that moisture from evaporating all day long. It’s not just for faces either – it is a fabulous hand cream and body lotion.

The cream is quite unique. You need about a quarter size dollop for your face, and it comes out of the tube looking almost matte. When you apply the cream, however, it turns watery like a toner. The application releases Activated Hydrogen Water droplets, which are quickly absorbed, leaving skin soft, hydrated, and matte. It makes a great primer for makeup, enhancing the longevity and preventing fading.

The best part on those hot summer days is how refreshing this moisturizer is – it feels cool and exhilarating, almost like I had stored it in the refrigerator. I love the freshness and the unique texture.

If you are looking for a great summer moisturizer, I highly recommend Cure Water Treatment Skin Cream. You will love the light, refreshing texture as well as the versatility – toner, primer, face moisturizer, body moisturizer – all in one tube! I like Multi use products and this is certainly one. I have oily skin so I’m not sure how it would work for my face but I would love to try it for my dry dry hands and legs. So many products that are even oil free, and sound good for oily skin, contain Dimethicone which usually makes my oily skin even more oily. Primers are notorious for having Dimethicone, a product known by dermatologist to clog pores.
