Rethinking skin care with Green Goo

Green GooThese days I am paying a lot more attention to certain things in the beauty industry. Who owns the company? Does the company have ethical business practices? What is their goal, and what is their commitment to giving back to society? I like to support companies who think it is important to strive for more than making money and Green Goo is definitely a company that caught my interest based on their mission.

Green Goo Cinnamon & Aloe Mighty Handscrub Bar and All Natural DeodorantGreen Goo is a woman owned and family operated business. They use homeopathic herbal wisdom and natural ingredients to create fantastic body care products. All ingredients are organic, and Green Goo is a certified B Corporation, committed to donating a percentage of their profits to people who are instrumental in making our world a better place for everyone.

Green Goo has lots of first aid products that don’t increase resistance to antibiotics and I hope to try some of them soon. They also have some really cool looking products for ‘fur and feathers’, homeopathic pet care items. This time I went for two of their body products:  Cinnamon & Aloe Mighty Handscrub Bar ($5.95) and 100% All Natural Deodorant Travel Stick ($5.95).

Green Goo Cinnamon & Aloe Mighty Handscrub Bar

The Cinnamon & Aloe Mighty Handscrub Bar smells amazing. The cinnamon is quite pronounced, but it isn’t bitter the way an overabundance of cinnamon can get. The soap smells like a Red Hot…remember those?? The cinnamon stimulates the skin, creating a warm sensation. Anyone into gardening or working with their hands will love this exfoliating soap. It’s actually terrific for anyone who washes their hands all the time because it has tons of soothing aloe.

Green Goo Cinnamon & Aloe Mighty Handscrub Bar

It’s great for stimulating circulation while also making skin super soft. Green Goo has lots of soaps from shampoo bars to deodorant bars and if you plan to try some be sure to put a bar of the Cinnamon & Aloe into your shopping cart.

Green Goo 100% All Natural Deodorant Travel Stick

The All Natural Deodorant comes in three different scents – Lavender & Thyme, Lemongrass & Sage, Rose & Geranium – as well as in unscented. You can buy a full size or a handy .6 oz travel size, which is what I tried. I’ve tried a lot of natural deodorants in the past and find that most of them don’t really work for me. This one, however, does work and it’s super gentle and free of aluminum and propylene glycol.

My 17-year-old daughter saw it and asked if she pretty please could have it…the travel size is fabulous and an all natural deodorant that works is a real find. I finally relented, but I am going to pick up the Lemongrass & Sage version to replace it.

Green Goo is the kind of company that I can really get behind. The products are organic and based on homeopathic herbal wisdom, and Green Goo is committed to helping the environment and helping people. I love this company and I am sure you will too!  – LisaGreen Goo

Looking for an all natural cleanser? Check out Kensington Apothecary Creamy Coconut Cleanser

KA_CoconutcleanserBottle091514_1024x1024

Clean skin is happy skin, and lately my skin has been very, very happy thanks to the Kensington Apothecary Creamy Coconut Cleanser ($24). This was my first time trying Kensington Apothecary and I can’t wait to try other products from  100% natural facial skin care. The creator, Claudia Carey Batz, wanted to develop an all natural line that could compete with high-end skin care lines. If this cleanser is any indication, she definitely met her goal.

Kensington Apothecary Creamy Coconut Cleanser

The Creamy Coconut Cleanser comes in a beautiful, substantial glass jar. The cleanser is made from organic virgin coconut oil and has a coconut-based surfactant system that doesn’t dry skin out, so you get beautiful lather without that stripped skin feeling. In fact, the cleanser leaves my skin wonderfully soft and moisturized. The formula is also free of parabens, phospates, and sulfates.

I was expecting a strong coconut scent but it just has a very light, pleasant fragrance that goes away immediately. The main thing is that this cleanser does a great job of doing its job – cleansing the skin! It really washes away all dirt, grime, makeup, and it works particularly well with my FOREO Luna.

You can find the Kensington Apothecary skin care line at natural grocers like Whole Foods as well as pharmacies and other cosmetics retailers nationwide, plus they have an online store. I am very impressed with my beautiful cleanser and I know you will be too.  – Lisa

Holiday Gift Guide for Lustrous Locks

A good friend of mine once said, “It’s all about two things: skin and hair.” I took it to heart and put all of my efforts into having great skin and great hair – and I think she is a genius. Great hair in particular just makes EVERYTHING better. Here are my picks for awesome holidays gifts for creating lustrous locks!

Mastey Paris Hair Care

1.  Mastey Color Protecting Shampoo, Restorative Mask, and Oil Treatment: I can’t get over this fabulous 100% vegan and completely eco-friendly salon line. I never even knew about it until about 6 months ago and I have not only finished everything I’ve tried, I’ve actually stood there in the shower with an empty bottle trying to wish more product into it.

Mastey Paris Hair CareBig favorites of mine include the Color Protecting Shampoo (SAVE! $34), which does a great job of washing my oddball hair – oily roots, dry ends, tons of hair but it’s very fine, color treated, mid-back length…yeah, not many people have all the weird issues I have, so when I find something that works it usually works for everyone else. This creamy shampoo has great ingredients like argan oil and olive oil, and is so gentle you can also use it as a face and body cleanser. The Restorative Mask (SAVE! $22) is an incredible deep conditioning treatment that soothes dry, damaged ends with Omega-3, Omega-6, and Omega-9, Argan Oil, Olive Oil, and Grape Seed Extract. The Oil Treatment (SAVE! $25) is hair treatment perfection in a bottle.  Not too heavy for fine hair, but still nourishing and conditioning.

Philip B Rejuvenating Oil

Philip B Rejuvenating Oil

2.  Philip B. Rejuvenating Oil (SAVE! $30)  This is a VERY interesting hair product – a perfect stocking stuffer for the hair aficionado who has everything but wants even more. You put this on dry hair before washing. It sinks into every single strand of hair, plumping it up for the most possible volume. It makes hair super strong and shiny, and it is also a scalp ‘detox’, getting rid of any built up product and oil. My ends can get very dry and frizzy because I do a lot of heat styling, and this treatment never fails to bring me back to bouncy, shiny hair. Another bonus – it can be used on keratin treated hair!

White Sands Leave In Spray Conditioner

3.  White Sands Leave In Spray Conditioner (SAVE! $15)  I love a good leave-in conditioner and this one from White Sands is superb. It has something called ‘selective conditioning’, which reminds me of my ‘selective listening’ skills (say work and I tune out…say chocolate and you have my full attention!). The Leave In Spray Conditioner hones in on frazzled areas to repair and smooth, giving already healthy areas a lighter treatment.

KISS Instawave Hair Curler

KISS Instawave hair curls

KISS Instawave hair curls

4.  KISS Instawave (SPLURGE! $60)  This is cool. I am totally uncoordinated when it comes to hair styling and it took me about 10 seconds to get the hang of this. The curler does the work for you, wrapping hair around the diamond-ceramic ionic hair curler. My hair is LONG, so usually these types of devices do not work for me, but this works on any length and gives me a loose, wavy curl that lasts all day.

Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret

Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret curls

Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret curls

5.  Conair Infiniti Pro Curl Secret (SPLURGE! $100)  You want curls that last for three days? The Conair Infiniti Pro delivers. This fantastic tool has a learning curve – it took me several times to figure out how to use it correctly for my particular hairstyle – but it has become my go-to for my best curled hair look that lasts several days. Curls are created via the tourmaline ceramic barrel inside the curling machine. You need to section hair, putting each piece in at a time. The machine pulls hair in, curling it tightly and closely to the heated barrel. A beeper tells you when hair is finished, and the Infiniti Pro Curl Secret releases the hair – and it’s fabulously curled. You can decide how tight you want your curl. For me, my hair is so long that I can only do about 3/4 of the length…but oh my, the curls this gives!! Long, wavy, flowy curls that look amazing finger brushed the first day. The second and third day I use a brush and the curl is still there holding strong. Because I have so much hair, the curling is time intensive – about 20 minutes, compared to the 10 minutes with the KISS Instawave – but the results are always worth it. This is a fantastic gift for anyone who wants tons of curls – loose, medium, or tight – that just won’t go limp.  – Lisa

ZuZu Luxe Plume Palette brings a new dimension to my eyes while Sandstorm is a treat for my lips

Zuzu Luxe and Gabriel Cosmetics are the right and left hand of the same company. They are both gluten free, vegan, and organic cosmetic companies. These are brands not to be missed.

Zuzu Luxe Plume Palette

Zuzu Luxe Plume Palette

When I received the Zuzu Luxe Plume Palette I was actually a little disappointed. The colors looked drab in the package so I wasn’t expecting much. Once I swatched it through my mind started to change. When I wore it for the first time my mouth just about dropped open. What I see in the palette comes to life on my eyes and seems like a total different being.

Zuzu Luxe Plume Palette opened

Zuzu Luxe Plume Palette opened

Plume is part of the Volcanique Collection which consists of 4 new eyeshadow palettes ($27.50 each) and 2 new lipsticks ($19.10). Plume is described as “metallic shine for the discrete smokey eye” and that tells a lot about these shadows. There is no glitter at all in this palette and the colors are slightly metallic but not glaringly so. The 4 shades are a light creamy skintone with a sheen, a fabulous smokey light grayish lavender, a gray taupe, and charcoal. I love the second shade, the purple one, because it gives a unique touch to Plume. It’s become my favorite purple shadow. It’s not a pastel but it’s not a bright either. It has a heathered look to it that I feel is appropriate for any age.

Zuzu Luxe Plume Palette

The shadows are silky smooth and wear beautifully without fading (over an eyeshadow primer).

The other product I was sent is Zuzu’s new Sandstorm Lipstick which is a total Marcia kind of lipstick. While a nude lipstick isn’t for everyone, it’s what I’m most comfortable wearing.

Zuzu Luxe Sandstorm Lipstick

Zuzu Luxe Sandstorm Lipstick

The description “ZuZu Luxe Sandstorm lipstick is a soft topaz with a delicate transparency and subtle radiance to bring out your smoldering beauty” is not what I would of thought of but their words are better than mine.

Zuzu Luxe Sandstorm

Zuzu Luxe Sandstorm

This lipstick is quite adaptable as it looks different depending on what you use with it. I often am in a hurry and just apply the lipstick without a liner and it looks quite nude that way. But when I get serious and use a liner, Sandstorm will take on a new hue depending on the depth of the liner. I’ve worn it with Chanel Nude for a more browned tone, with Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk for a warm tone and with a cool toned liner from IT Cosmetics. All work, all make the lipstick more than “just” a nude.

Zuzu Sandstorm (from website)

Zuzu Sandstorm (from website)

What I love about the lipstick is that it’s very hydrating. It’s a satin cream texture that doesn’t give me that dry lip look or show my many lines. While a shade this light isn’t for everyone, it’s totally my jam.

KEY INGREDIENTS & PROPERTIES  Jojoba Oil (hydrating, hypoallergenic and long-lasting properties), Aloe Vera (protects the lips from being chapped/dry and has been found to be effective against UV rays.) and Bisabolol (soothing anti-inflammatory properties as well as anti-bacterial action) seal in moisture and protect lips from environmental aggression.

I often hear questions asking about products that are safe for sensitive eyes and I feel that Gabriel and Zuzu Luxe have the answer to these questions. With pure organic ingredients that are safe to use, you really need to investigate the line. Gabriel and Zuzu are sold at health food/organic stores like Whole Food. Online right now, if you spend $25 you’ll receive a bonus of their HOPE lipstick.

LISA AND THE AUGUST 2015 GOODEBOX

The August box is a great mix of hair, body, and color items. Inside this natural wellness box are three body products (including one full size), one hair product, and one eyeshadow (the second full size product!).

August Goodebox

August Goodebox

August Goodebox

The first item I tried was the full size Zoe Organics Insect Repellent ($22). I live by a gorgeous biking trail and I always get a mosquito bite or two when I ride so I sprayed this on, hopped on my bike and dared the bugs to bite me. Guess what? The bugs left me alone, so I am loving this 100% organic blend of botanical oils.

The next body item, Kahina Giving Beauty FEZ Body Serum, is a beautiful body oil made with rose and orange blossoms, patchouli, sandalwood, ylang-ylang, cumin, and clove. The .5 oz sample size is a $16 value and a full size 200mL is $98.  There are some amazing body oils on the market now and they are expensive so it’s great to get a nice large sample size to try. This is a very fragrant oil, so I use it both right after showering (a little goes a long way when skin is damp) and as a fragrance dabbed onto my wrists.

August Goodebox

The third body item is the Lovefresh Sweet Orange Patchouli Deodorant. This is a 2 oz. travel size deodorant (you can buy this on their website for $15, the 4 oz. size is $25) that has no nasty chemicals. The ingredients include Fair Trade Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Kaolin Clay, Sodium Bicarbonate (aluminum-free), Emulsifying Wax (coconut derived) and natural organic essential oils. The Sweet Orange Patchouli scent is gorgeous, and all natural deodorants are perfect for those with sensitive skin.

August Goodebox

The one hair item in the August box is the Josh Rosebrook Lift Hair Texture & Volume. This is a large sample size with a value of $5.50, a 4 oz. full size product is $22. Lift Hair Texture & Volume is an herbal spray texturizer with organic yucca plant.  I sprayed this on the base of my hair before blow drying and it definitely gave me some lift and volume. I noticed it especially on my bangs – the effect was more subtle on my longer layers.

August Goodebox

The final goodie in the August Goodebox is a full size 1g Au Naturale Eyeshadow ($15). The box has one of two shades, either Mojave (plum purple with violet sheen) or Gold Dust (gold with pink undertones).  My box has Gold Dust and I am THRILLED with this shade!! I used to be a major pigment collector but I haven’t used them much in the last year or so. Gold Dust rekindles my love for loose pigments…this gorgeous eyeshadow makes my eyes look bigger, brighter….better!

The 222 sponge tip

The Make Up For Ever 222 Sponge Tip

I find that the best brush to use with it is my Make Up For Ever 222 Sponge Applicator.  It picks up the pigment and perfectly presses it on (ooooh I love unintentional alliteration!).  I adore this eyeshadow so much that now I want all 35 shades. Besides gorgeousness, other reasons to want the Au Naturale Eyeshadow? It’s natural, gluten-free, paraben-free, vegan, non-nano, bismuth oxychloride-free, sulfate-free, carmine-free, and made in the USA. Plus, the eye shadow is pure minerals – no fillers.

I am beyond impressed with my Goodebox.  It’s a great value and the carefully curated items are wonderful natural beauty discoveries.  Nicely done!!

MARCIA AND THE SEPTEMBER  2015 GOODEBOX

September 2015 Goodebox

September 2015 Goodebox

The September box was all beauty oriented making me a happy recipient. Four skincare products (1 full size) and one full size cosmetic item made up the contents of the September Goodebox. 5 natural and organic items plus 5 small cards to describe them make this an interesting box to receive.

Let’s start with the 100% PURE DARK CHOCOLATE MASCARA ($25 and full size) is a 100% natural mascara meant to lengthen, separate, and thicken lashes leaving you with a glossy look. The ingredients are all good for you, 100% good! It contains fruit pigments and cocoa to color it (not vegan since it contains beeswax) along with ProVitamin B5, Vitamin E, Oat and Wheat proteins to condition your lashes. It’s so rare to receive anything other than a black mascara that this is a treat for a lot of people with lighter lashes.

TREAT SHERBET LIP SCRUB  is the other full size product ($24) in the box and I just love it. It looks like a giant lip balm but when you open it you can see the sugary goodness. This not only exfoliates your lips but it conditions and plumps them. The texture at first feels a tiny bit scrubby but then it dissolves as you buff it in and leaves a creamy delicious taste behind. Just lick off any crystals that haven’t dissolved. I’ve used this on bare lips and over a lip product. It’s a vegan treat by Treat Beauty.

Treat Sherbet Lip Scrub (Goodebox)

Treat Sherbet Lip Scrub (Goodebox)

KUMARI NOURISHING BODY OIL in MAGNOLIA & SANDALWOOD is a totally organic product. A full size is 4 oz at $38 so this 1 oz deluxe sample is worth $9.50 and will give you a great idea of the efficacy of this nourishing body oil. Once you discover the magic of a body oil, you won’t want to go back. This one by Kumari contains organic oils and botanicals for glowing supple skin. It’s a lightweight and non-greasy formula.

AVITALIN C CONCENTRATE OPTIMAL SKIN PROTECTOR is one of the most different products I’ve had in a subscription box. This little jar contains a combination of 20% L-ascorbic acid and 0.8% ferulic acid to provide protection from environmental damage while creating a brighter, smoother and more radiant complexion. I haven’t tried this yet because of other skincare I’m testing but this light citrus smelling concentrate seems like it could be a very potent and useful serum. It’s in a dark amber tinted bottle to protect it from light. A full size of this is 1 oz. and $68. This is stated to be 0.5 oz and valued at $34.

AVITALIN C CONCENTRATE OPTIMAL SKIN PROTECTOR (Goodebox)

AVITALIN C CONCENTRATE OPTIMAL SKIN PROTECTOR (Goodebox)

S.W. BASICS CREAM is just named Cream. Sounds simple doesn’t it? But it’s what this cream in a cute little glass jar can do for you that counts. Cream is a very rich product that is the main item in the S.W. Basics line. This is a very rich moisturizer that is targeted toward body use. S.W. Basics Cream is made from only 3 ingredients: shea butter, coconut oil, and olive oil. That’s it. No fillers, no fragrance, no synthetics, no water. At over 60% shea butter, you better believe it absorbs deep into thirsty skin and stays there! While I tried this I’m saving it for winter to bring my skin back to life. The shea butter comes from a Fair Trade women’s cooperative in Ghana; then they add organic extra-virgin coconut oil and organic extra-virgin olive oil. What more can you ask for? This vegan product can be used on your face but I’m saving it for my dry legs, feet and elbows. A full size 3 oz jar retails for $32 so this 0.7 oz jar is valued at $9.50 by me.

S.W. Basics Cream (Goodebox)

S.W. Basics Cream (Goodebox)

The September Goodebox was worth $104 and to top that off there’s a $5 off $15 Target g.c. good through 12/31/15 off Made to Matter products from 31 brands (like Ben & Jerry’s, SW Basics, Mrs. Meyer’s, Pacifica, Method, JR Watkins).

Gorgeous skin the organic way with Kypris Body Elixer: Inflorescence

Kypris Body Elixir: Inflorescence

Kypris Body Elixir: Inflorescence

Already a huge fan of body oils, my latest one – Kypris Body Elixir: Inflorescence – has me swooning.  It’s organic luxury that is so good for the skin I feel positively virtuous every time I use it.

KYPRIS is an organic line of holistic skin care with wild-crafted, sustainable grown ingredients.  You may have heard of them before since they were Green Spa Network’s 2014 Green Product Company of the Year. Entrepreneur and feminist champion Chase Polan created this line which debuted in 2012. Kypris has six serums and elixirs the moisturize, protect, and repair the skin.

Body Elixir: Inflorescence  ($95) is skin care for the body.  It’s the first product on the market with actives typically found in face products.  Kypris says this body oil is “equal parts ecstatic beauty experience, targeted, multi-active skin care, lymphatic movement, aromatherapy and AM/PM self-care ritual tool”.  The oils and essential oils are organic, wild crafted, co-op sourced, local, and sustainable procured.

Kypris Body Elixir: Inflorescence

Kypris Body Elixir: Inflorescence

Kypris Body Elixir: Inflorescence

I am absolutely in love with the Arts and Crafts era, so I adore the packaging.  The body oil comes in a beautiful felt bag that houses the  3.4 fl oz glass bottle with a lace motif design that was inspired by Arts and Crafts.  The body oil isn’t greasy, and it leaves skin unbelievably soft, plumped, and luminous.  It has a definite herbal scent when first applied, but the scent is gone within five minutes so it doesn’t conflict with your favorite fragrance.

Kypris Body Elixir: Inflorescence

The fabulous ingredients treat your body with the same loving care that great skin products treat your face.  Chase Polan developed this oil because she knows that women typically take good care of skin from the neck up…but the decollete and beyond are often completely forgotten.  Just take a look at these amazing ingredients that not only hydrate and enhance elasticity, but also give an antioxidant boost to SPF:

Morinda Oil From the kernels of The Miracle Tree which thrives in extreme weather conditions and yields parts so nutrient-dense they are prized in malnutrition relief and wellness circles alike. KYPRIS’ moringa kernel oil is from a co-operative effort that uses the leaves for hunger relief and the kernels for the oil. A wealth of vitamins, nutrients, and fatty acids from the kernels of this miraculous tree that flourishes even in drought soothes and nourishes stubborn, dry skin. The kernels can be used to regrow the trees but so can clippings of the leaves. The kernels can clarify water but not purify water to an extent that it is potable, so they are best used for their nourishing oil which is not traditionally consumed. The Moringa Kernel oil in this product benefits Trees for Life. (Nicaragua)

Prickly PearWild crafted from the Arizona high desert and the result of a 3+ year collaboration with a wild crafting group, our organic, wild crafted Prickly Pear seed oil is a unique wealth of amino acids and vitamin E that soothes stressed and tired skin.

TamanuOrganically grown and pressed by a co-operative in Tahiti, Tamanu oil inspires cellular renewal, is used in France to help heal burned skin, and is fantastic for enhancing the elasticity of pregnant bellies.

SunflowerLocal, organic blooms yield a golden seed oil wealthy in sun-protective beta carotene and an auspicious fatty acid composition for a delicate emollience.

Neroli and Sweet OrangeClinically tested with zero evidence of irritation or photo-toxicity in the sun, our sun-safe blend of neroli and sweet orange essential oils are aroma-therapeutically beneficial for both the nervous system and the skin. Uplifting, energizing, soothing, toning to both the nervous system and the skin.

Iris Leaf Stem Cells and Vitamin C EsterCreated using the best of green technologies to inspire and protect collagen and to plump skin to a vibrant luminosity.

Body Elixir: Inflorescence retails for $95 is available through estheticians, skin care spas and centers, physicians’ offices, apothecaries, and online at www.kyprisbeauty.com.  Do your body a huge favor and pick up a bottle of this fabulous body oil.  – Lisa

Ecoconscious sensory beauty: Teadora Nourishing Bath and Body Oils

Teadora 4In Portuguese, “Teadora” means “adore you”.  Teadora Beauty not only adores you, it adores the earth with unique products that feature rainforest ingredients.  Teadora skin care products are created for ‘sensory beauty’, a complete immersion into lush ingredients and fragrance that  transport you to the Amazonian rainforest.  Teadora only uses sustainable organic ingredients so they can share Brazil while giving back to their community, as well as to the entire earth.

Teadora carries a range of body products from lip butters to body cleansers to hair products.  Every product sold supports rainforests deforestation, as well as the EARTH FOR YOU, YOU FOR EARTH movement which focuses on youth education, leadership development, and health. They sent the BIZ two beautiful Nourishing Bath and Body Oils to test, Rainforest at Dawn and Rainforest at Dusk.

Teadora Body Oils

Teadora Body Oils

I adore body oils in general.  They hydrate skin, leave a soft scent, and give skin a beautiful, luminous glow.  Not all body oils are alike, however, some are definitely better than others.  Teadora Nourishing Bath and Body Oils stand out because of their truly impressive Brazilian ingredients:

Buriti is an amazingly powerful ingredient. It contains the highest concentration of natural vitamin A among fruits and vegetables. It is also rich in Vitamin E, Vitamin C and antioxidants and has been used for generations as a natural UV ray protectant. Its amazing anti-inflammatory properties also help to promote skin healing.

Maracujá (or Passion Fruit) is known as the “Pure Miracle” in Brazil as it brightens, moisturizes, heals, and repairs skin and hair without feeling greasy or heavy. Good for all skin types-from dry to oily.

Brazil Nut is a light, sweet, and nutty oil that is wonderful for the entire body. It absorbs quickly, and provides powerful moisture and healing to the skin, hair, and face.

Babassu is made from the nuts of wild-growing Brazilian palm trees. It is also a more effective skin oil than coconut oil. It is high in essential acids to cool, sooth, protect, restore, and moisturize any skin type.

Plant Stem Cells, we use stem cells from the Argan tree to help rejuvenate your skin’s middle layer, where wrinkles start. It is known to protect dermal stem cells reduce the appearance of wrinkles, tighten and tone skin tissue and  increases skin firmness and density.

Teadora Bath and Body Oils have a ton of antioxidants to fight free radicals, plus tremendously hydrating ingredients that leave skin soft, supple, and healthy looking.  There are two scents from which to choose:  Rainforest at Dawn and Rainforest After Dark.

Teadora Rainforest at Dawn

Rainforest at Dawn ($58) has a citrus scent with bergamot, lemon, woods, fresh florals, basil and eucalyptus.  The fresh, energizing scent makes this a great body oil to start the day.  I smooth it on after I shower, and I even run my hands through my wet hair for a subtle scent and to moisturize and eliminate fly-away hair.  This oil also makes a great treatment for dandruff and dry scalp.

Teadora Rainforest at Dusk Body Oil

Rainforest at Dusk ($58)  is more of a dusky, sensual floral scent with Rose Absolute and Geranium plus a hint of fruitiness.  I love this as a bath oil or as a massage oil…it is heavenly.
