More than a mascara…Peter Lamas Lash Masque

Peter Lamas Lash MasqueI am usually a ‘bigger is better’ girl when it comes to mascara – I want longer lashes, thicker lashes, all the drama I can get. So I didn’t think I would like the Peter Lamas Lash Masque ($22) as a mascara…but surprisingly this has quickly become a favorite of mine.

Peter Lamas Lash Masque

The Lash Masque actually does three things:

  1.  As a mascara, it slightly tints lashes with natural extracts, separates, lengthens, and gives a very pretty natural look. It’s not drama, but it’s way better than my lashes on their own. I really like this on weekends or when I am in a hurry because I don’t have to be careful when I apply it and it goes on quickly and easily.
  2. It’s a great primer and lash conditioner. If I am feeling fancy, I use this first then use my mascara. Then it does give me even more drama! The masque doesn’t have any chemicals to dry out lashes, so it conditions them, promotes healthy lashes, and reduces lash fallout.
  3. Lash Masque is a terrific brow gel! I have been using it every day to darken my brows and brush them into place.

Some favorites by Tweezerman

Little things can make a big difference, especially when it comes to beauty tools. Tweezerman is usually the first line I turn to for those tiny but mighty beauty accessories.  I love that this line is available at Target, CVS, Bed Bath & Beyond, and lots of other places so it’s easy to find.  And Tweezerman isn’t just for tweezers.  They have some terrific items that have become necessities for me.  I cannot do without the Tweezerman Br0w Trimming Scissors ($18).

These scissors are total perfection for trimming eyebrows.  The contour is amazing, making it super easy to trim the brows, and the blades are very sharp so they cut cleanly and precisely.  The scissors come with this eyebrow spoolie brush:

Just brush your brows upward with the eyebrow brush, then use the scissors to trim away the excess.  Trimmed brows make a HUGE difference in your look – goodness knows you don’t want to look like this guy!

He needs some Tweezerman.

Another favorite of mine is the Tweezerman Folding Lashcomb ($9.50).  Marcia raved and raved about this little prize, and after trying it just once I understood why.  This has a golden lash comb that is fantastic for combing out mascara clumps and separating the lashes.

You can fold it however you need to get at your lashes, and when you are done the gold teeth are fully protected when stored completely closed.

sheer perfection

Little things can make such a difference, and having trimmed brows and clump-free lashes will change your whole look for the better.  Don’t just think of Tweezerman for tweezers, give these two little gems a try!  – Lisa
