Are you looking for the absolute best serum? Try The Jojoba Company Absolute Serum then

The Jojoba Company 100% Natural Absolute Serum

The Jojoba Company 100% Natural Absolute Serum

The Jojoba Company Absolute Serum is a big departure from my typical skincare recommendations. When I first put this on my face I was totally taken aback by the fragrance of it. The fragrance needs to be addressed first for me since I normally avoid scents other than citrus on my face so this is really an anomaly for me. What I notice is a more masculine scent, it’s more herbal and outdoorsy than I use. BUT, and this is important to note, it dissipates in a minute or two and then I notice nothing. (press sample)

I’ve reviewed other Jojoba Company products because I believe in the company. It’s cruelty free and uses nothing artificial in their ingredients. Actually the name of this is 100% Natural Absolute Serum.

Here’s what they have to share about the benefits of Absolute Serum:

Benefits: Absolute Serum helps reduce the visible signs of lines and wrinkles and firm up the appearance of slackened skin naturally. The di-peptide carnosine in conjunction with hyaluronic acid and silymarin, a potent antioxidant from milk thistle, work together to aid collagen production and refine skin smoothness and expression lines. Skin is relaxed, less lined, intensely re-plumped and visibly smoothed. It combines Australian Kakadu plum and lillypilly, high in vitamin C and deeply nourishing.

Now what do I notice? First I use serums daily and often layer them. I think serums have contributed greatly to the elasticity and condition of my skin. As one of the older bloggers around I don’t want my attitude nor my face to give that away. Jojoba Company products have helped keep at least my face looking younger than my birth certificate shows.

Absolute Serum isn’t sticky on my skin. Since it’s such a powerful anti-oxidant serum you don’t need a lot so the bottle will last for you. I apply this at night prior to moisturizer. During the day I’ll use it first and then apply a Vitamin C serum over it, let those dry and continue with sunscreen and moisturizer. It doesn’t interfere with makeup. If a product balls up under foundation that means it’s not good for my daytime routine. I can use Absolute Serum day or night. I’m not sure if my skin is less lined  but it definitely feels smooth. Most importantly, I believe that this pure product is doing something wonderful for my skin. And seeing is believing.  —  Marcia

The Jojoba Company – Jojoba Bead Facial Cleanser and Natural Pigment Oil

The Jojoba Company Natural Pigmentation Oil and Jojoba Bead Facial Cleanser

The Jojoba Company Natural Pigmentation Oil and Jojoba Bead Facial Cleanser

What is Jojoba oil (pronounced ho-HO-ba)? According to The Jojoba Company jojoba is a desert plant that produces a small bead. ” It produces a rich, pure golden liquid wax (it is often called jojoba ‘oil’).  But unlike oils this unique liquid wax acts like our skin’s own natural oils, absorbing deep below the skins surface. “It is the only plant on earth known to produce a wax similar to that found in young, healthy human skin”

The Jojoba Company has its own farm in Australia so that they can control how the plant is grown, this way they can avoid chemicals and preservatives. The father/daughter team who created the brand have found ways to incorporate the plant and oil into an entire skincare line.

I’ve used The Jojoba Co’s Pure Jojoba Oil (review) for over 6 months to help keep my skin and hair looking their best. When the company offered me their Natural Pigmentation Oil to even skin tone and reduce the appearance of pigmentation, you know I was thrilled. They later sent their Jojoba Bead Facial Cleanser to make life even better!

Jojoba Bead Facial Cleanser is a very gentle cleanser that’s infused with tiny jojoba beads. This is a cleanser/exfoliator that I can use on a daily basis if I want since it’s so gentle. If you love a very scrubby cleanser this might not be strong enough for you, but it’s perfect for me. I like to use an exfoliating cleanser but I can’t overdo it so this very lightly scented product is a perfect addition to my regime.

“We have used 100% natural solidified jojoba beads that are completely safe and eco-friendly—no plastic particles here. The beads gently exfoliate while hydrating Vitamin C, quandong, aloe vera and Vitamin E dissolve impurities. Use daily as a 2-in-1 cleanser and exfoliator for glowing smooth skin. Suitable for all skin types.”

I love the ingredients used in this and I feel comfortable knowing that this calming cleanser has great natural ones. The jojoba beads won’t hurt the environment so it’s good for everyone.

Jojoba Company Natural Pigmentation Oil

Jojoba Company Natural Pigmentation Oil

The Jojoba Company Natural Pigmentation Oil is meant to target sunspots, age spots, and uneven skintone. There’s a pleasant light citrus fragrance to this. I use it at night since it’s an oil and my foundation has occasionally balled up under it if I’m rushing and not letting it meld into my skin. It’s so moisturizing that at night I don’t need to use another moisturizer if I don’t want.

The packaging is just the best. The top of all Jojoba Company boxes is so great you almost want to store it in the box but this copper colored bottle is beautiful on its own and looks pretty on my vanity.

100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil

100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil

You’ve heard about jojoba oil over and over again but do you really know what it is? It took The Jojoba Company sending me their 100% Natural Australian Jojoba Oil to really understand the ingredient. I knew it was good for my skin but there was so much more I didn’t know about.

Since we call it an oil and it looks like an oil we expect it to be an oil, but Jojoba is actually a wax that is similar to the wax esters that our skin and eyes produce. According to The Jojoba Company “That means that skin lets jojoba deliver its goodness all the way down to the cellular and matrix levels. It is naturally antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and hypoallergenic.  Jojoba also contains the healing vitamins A, D and E and Omega 6 and 9 essential fatty acids. Jojoba does not oxidize and is very stable.”

Companies use jojoba to help carry their other ingredients into the skin. This 100% Natural Australian Jojoba is the real thing though. 100% pure. The ingredients are pretty simple: Simmondsia Chiensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil. That’s it. This is grown on the the Jojoba Company’s farms in New South Wales.

This is perfect to have in your house, it sure is for me. It has a variety of uses and you’ll probably find even more.

1) Wrinkles and prevention of wrinkles:  This can be used on young and old(er). If you are lucky enough not to have any wrinkles that have started then use this Jojoba on your face to prevent them. We lose moisture in our skin starting in our 20’s even if you have oily skin. Protecting your skin with this helps keep it supple. If you are already in the process of seeing wrinkles you want this so the jojoba will recreate the wax moisture barrier in skin, plump live skin cells, and smooth wrinkles.

2)  Dry and sensitive skin often looks flaky and and dull but using The Jojoba Company’s Jojoba Oil helps add back in the natural moisture barrier.

3)  Acne can be helped by this too even though it seems counterproductive. The Jojoba Company taught me that we break out from an over production of sebum. This gets the wax esters that are needed back in your skin to help with the irritation caused by blackheads, whiteheads and acne. “Jojoba kills the five major germs of skin including acne bacteria. Applied to active acne, it soothes painful areas, reduces inflammation and redness, enters the skin pore and kills the acne bacteria, then dissolves the sebum plug and gets sebum liquid and flowing again.” So this is great for spot treating.

Other uses are for rashes, burns, scars, and stretch marks (oy vey). I’ve used this on my hair to give it some shine and keep it from getting frizzy. Afterwards I rub it into my hands to keep my skin moist without any greasiness. Plus it’s great for cuticles. It’s pretty amazing stuff.

To make this particular Australian Jojoba even better the company is vegan friendly, gluten and dairy free, not tested on animals, has no PEGs or mineral oil or Sodium Lauryl Sulphate. And I’m thrilled to say it’s fragrance free so I have used this freely and happily. If that’s not enough the Jojoba Company is whale friendly. Many companies use Spermaceti which is harvested from Sperm Whales but using the Jojoba Company products you are helping whales swim freely.
