nyl may mean nothing but it’s sure something great with NYL Skincare

nyl Skincare is the name. Nil is the pronunciation. What does it mean though?

nyl stands for what is NOT used by the company. They are set on improving products by eliminating the toxins in products and creating a new category in skincare. nyl Skincare concentrates on making products in small batches. But what makes these products different is that these all natural products are handmade weekly in a kitchen, not a factory. They want to deliver clean yet effective products that won’t harm you or the environment.

This isn’t a big conglomeration. There are only 11 products plus a few kits that are made by nyl Skincare so they can stay true to their mission. I’ll start with one of the collections to show you an overview of their goods.

nyl Skincare Starter Kit

There are two ways to purchase this Starter Kit, with Chamomile Face Wash or with Rosewater Face Wash. Inside the box you’ll find the 4 deluxe sample size items in a burlap bag that can be saved to hold the products or to hold other items. It contains 1 jar of Whipped Hand & Body Lotion – 2 oz, 1 jar of Gentle Sugar Body Polish – 2 oz, 1 bottle of Velvet Transformative Serum – 1/4 oz and 1 bottle of either Rosewater Face Wash or Chamomile Face Wash – 2 oz.

nyl Starter Kit

I love that nyl Skincare not only carries a kit like this but they sell smaller samples ($8 each) of their most popular items. It’s a way to test and see which fits your needs. I also love that even though the products are all natural the fragrances are natural too and not overpowering. Most smell like citrus which is my favorite.

nyl Whipped Hand & Body Lotion

Speaking of citrus this Whipped Hand & Body Lotion has a citrus fragrance. Mostly I smell lime. What makes this such a great product are ingredients like organic Meadowfoam Seed Oil which was chosen for its amazing moisturizing and rejuvenating capabilities. When applied to the skin, it forms a moisture barrier and will assist in preventing moisture loss. It’s a non-comedogenic oil which means it won’t clog your pores, has a non-greasy feel and your skin will drink it up.

Whipped Hand & Body Lotion

Since it’s not greasy at all and absorbs well it doesn’t stop you from getting dressed or doing things for your life. The fragrance lightly lingers but most people won’t notice that.

nyl Chamomile Face Wash

The Chamomile Face Wash is the only product in this kit that I wouldn’t purchase in full size but that’s because I’m just not a fan of chamomile. While it acts as an astringent and has anti-inflammatory qualities this one is stronger than my nose likes. This is a great cleanser though for oily skin, especially for those with breakouts. It contains Willow Bark Extract and essential oils that work together to fight bacteria that wants to form into acne. The Rosewater Face Wash is more up my alley since that’s formulated for dry, normal or sensitive skin.

nyl Skincare Velvet Transformative Serum

nyl Skincare Velvet Transformative Serum is the product in the Starter Kit that I was most excited to use. I am a serum girl so having the opportunity to try this made me happy. They named this well since my skin does feel velvety when using this. While it’s recommended for twice a day I like using it in the morning because of the feel and the light dewy radiance it provides.

nyl blends the highest quality oils* that are known for anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties into a dry oil that amazingly vanishes into my skin. I feel my face is well protected and nourished plus it’s non-comedogenic so it won’t clog pores.

*organic meadowfoam seed oil/chardonnay grape seed oil/acai oil/blackberry seed oil/blueberry seed oil/carrot seed oil/cranberry seed oil/marula oil, pomegranate seed oil/rosehip seed oil/vegetable squalene/vitamin E oil/watermelon seed oil/essential oils. (makes me hungry)

nyl Skincare Velvet Transformative Serum

You only need a few drops of the serum. Warm it up between your fingertips and press it onto your skin. It even works well under eyes.

nyl Sugar Body Polish

The fourth delightful item in the Starter Kit is the nyl Gentle Sugar Body Polish. This organic body scrub is a simple blend of organic sugar and oils. It not only exfoliates, it moisturizes, improves circulation, polishes and smoothes skin. It can be used in place of shaving cream too.

nyl Sugar Body Polish

Massage this onto your skin until the sugar crystals have melted and you’re left with soft skin with a touch of oil that dries. I usually use a washcloth to make sure the crystals are well removed. It’s not only delightful but it has a lemon fragrance that makes me smile.

nyl Skincare Starter Kit

All of this for $46. Or you can buy smaller sizes for $32 but I think it’s great with these sizes.

Now onto a full size product from nyl Skincare that I’m crazy about for summer especially: Organic Shimmer Scrub.

nyl Skincare Organic Shimmer Scrub

The Organic Shimmer Scrub invites me into my shower with its wonderful citrus smell and has me leave with a beautiful soft shimmer look. I think it’s going to be wonderful year round but in warm weather is when we wear our skin! Bathing suits, tanks, off shoulder tops, shorts, capris. Any time your skin is bared to the world you’ll want this extra glow.

nyl Organic Shimmer Scrub

Much like the Gentle Sugar Body Polish it contains wonderful essential oils* and unrefined cane sugar to exfoliate, moisturize, improve circulation, and leaves behind that hint of shimmer. nyl says “Smells like sunshine and shimmers like moonlight.” I smell lemon and orange mostly.

nyl Organic Shimmer Scrub

Use the wooden spoon to get out the amount you want. The more shimmer you want the more scrub you should use. To lesson the amount of shimmer just rub with a washcloth or towel to tone it down. I don’t find it too shimmery with the small amount I use.

nyl Organic Shimmer Scrub

nyl Organic Shimmer Scrub after

nyl Organic Shimmer Scrub is packaged in a firm plastic container that is easy to scoop product from. I try to keep it away from water since I don’t want to mix the wonderful oils too much so I close it the instant I’ve put it on my skin.

*Ingredients: unrefined cane sugar/rosehip seed oil/meadowfoam seed oil/grape seed oil/coconut oil/ederberry extract/vitamin E Oil/essential oils of begamot, grapefruit and tangerine/mica

nyl Skincare is on my yes list for many reasons including that it’s free of toxins, animal products, parabens, and petroleum products, everything nyl makes is vegan and cruelty free. This is the wave of the future which you can use right now.  —  Marcia

Why I’m buying the May 19th IT Cosmetics TSV on May 19th #ITsyourTSV

On Saturday May 19th IT Cosmetics has a new TSV and even though I was sent a few of the products so you can see what a joy this Bye Bye Collection is, I’m still buying. The main reason why is that I am madly, passionately in love with the Bye Bye Lines Serum. I test a lot of serums because it’s one of my favorite items but I always come back to IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Serum.

This revolutionary, antiaging miracle concentrate was developed with plastic surgeons to deliver 10 powerful clinical results to your skin in as little as 10 days. Infused with proprietary Drops of Light Optical Blurring Technology™ and skin-loving ingredients—including peptides, caviar extract, hydrolyzed collagen and algae—the weightless wonder serum visibly erases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while improving the look of tone, texture, firmness, suppleness, and elasticity. It also supports the natural skin barrier, hydrates, and gives skin a look of youthful vitality and radiance.

I’m looking forward to trying out Bye Bye Foundation which is actually a full coverage moisturizer with SPF 50+. It is newly available in 12 shades so the range is better. Introducing USANA-Celavive skincare with a giveaway

USANA/Celavive Skincare line for sensitive to dry skin

As an introduction to Celavive Skincare I was sent the Vitalizing Serum to test out. I had spoken with an associate of the new skincare line from USANA and expressed my concerns about the fragrance. I love trying different brands of skincare but didn’t want to have the company send me a line that I couldn’t use. The associate was so kind and sent me the Vitalizing Serum to try and see how I’d fare with the line. I received it as I was waiting for a car to whisk me away for my three week overseas vacation so I quickly unwrapped it, applied some to my hand, knew I could use it, and took it with me in my carry-on. Therefore I’ve used the Vitalizing Serum for even longer than the rest of the line and now know I feel great about recommending these products.

USANA is a worldwide company and is sold in 21 markets. They introduced these skincare products that utilize Incelligence technology which works at the cellular level to provide the necessary nutrients to prevent aging and turn back time. Turning back time sounds like a good idea to me!

Their philosophy is that your skin cells—or keratinocytes—are responsible for creating a healthy barrier that keeps pollutants out and hydration in. They preserve the soft elastic tissues that boost the plump appearance of the skin from the inside.

The Celavive Cell-Signaling Complex also delivers botanical nutrients directly to the keratinocytes. These nutrients bind with the important signaling molecule PPAR to maximize hydration and optimize the natural lipid production needed to combat environmental stress, supporting your body’s natural defense against visible aging.

By supporting this natural defense process, additional lipids are introduced further into the soft layer of the skin, promoting the feeling of intense moisturization and plumping effects.

I have 6 products for sensitive and dry skin and I’ve been using them for over the last month (and the serum almost 2). My sensitive nose gives USANA/Celavive an okay since the items are not overly fragranced and nothing I notice is long lasting.

Celavive Gentle Milk Cleanser

For dry skin the Gentle Milk Cleanser is the recommended product. This is a creamy everyday cleanser that leaves my skin feeling hydrated while washing away the dirt, oil and cosmetics of the day. It lathers lightly on me and doesn’t leave a film behind. All of the Celavive line contains Olivol Botanical Blend which is comprised of fruit extracts that have been clinically shown to provide 24 hours of rich hydration after just one application.

Celavive Perfecting Toner

Next step is the Perfecting Toner. I know not everyone believes in using a toner but it really is a great step in a skincare regime. This is how you balance your skin and maintain proper moisture levels. Perfecting Toner aids in maintaining your pH level and readies your skin for your moisturizer. Like all Celavive products it’s paraben free.

Whether it’s day or evening there’s a specialized moisturizer for you. For dry to sensitive skin you’ll find Protective Day Cream and Replenishing Night Cream. For oily or combination skin there’s Protective Day Lotion SPF 30 and Replenishing Night Gel.

The Protective Day Cream makes me happy since it has four UV filters making this cream rich and keeping my skin protected. The day cream has SPF30 and wears well under my foundation. It contains Avoberizone 3%, Homosalate 10%, Octinorate 7.5%, and Octocrylene 2%. It’s rare to find that many filters in a moisturizer. Not only are you receiving a good amount of sunscreen protection but you’re getting great hydration from UVA/UVB rays.

Celavive Protective Day Cream

Celavive Protective Day Cream

Replenishing Night Cream wants to supercharge your sleep. Put your skincare to work while you finally get some rest. Now this is where I usually get in trouble with products that have fragrance but that hasn’t happened with this night cream. I smell green citrus with this so I’m thrilled. It’s not perfumed, it uses botanical extracts which works for me. The cream is lighter in feel than the Protective Day Cream but it’s just as rich. It’s meant to fight the appearance of wrinkles and restore your youthful complexion. I’m a fighter when it comes to wrinkles and Replenishing Night is making that fight more effective.

Celavive Replenishing Night Cream

Celavive Replenishing Night Cream

I’ve saved the best for last. I am a big fan of using serum on my face and a huge fan of eye creams. My personal goal is to try them all. I’m extra glad that I’ve got Celavive in my serum and eye cream corner.

The Vitalizing Serum is the product that I’ve used the longest. I’ve used this with a variety of skincare products, not just Celavive and it works wonderfully with everything. It’s a bit tacky when I first apply it but I let it settle in and then put on my moisturizer. I’ve been using this more at night than in the day since I usually am in a hurry in the morning and want everything done quickly.
Let’s look at what Celavive says that the Vitalizing Serum can do: “Dramatically reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, discoloration, large pores, and the visual loss of elasticity to restore a healthy, youthful radiance to your skin. After just one application, skin is noticeably younger looking. Featuring natural botanicals and cell-signaling peptides, this breakthrough, water-based formulation supports your skin’s natural beauty-preserving functions.”

Celavive Vitalizing Serum

The Vitalizing Serum has the strongest aroma of the rest of the line, it’s a light floral with emphasis on the light. I find it to be protective and works on all those fine lines. My pores aren’t different but then again it’s hard for any product to make those less of a problem for me BUT they are really only noticeable to me and in close up photos. The serum is the only serum that Celavive makes since it’s good for all skin types.

And then there’s the Hydrating Eye Essence. You know I can’t be without my eye creams, serums and now essence! Two things make this stand out to me. First the delivery system which is so refreshing.

Celavive Hydrating Eye Essence

The top brings a cooling feeling to your eyes which helps with depuffing and dark circles. This baby is one that gets used in the morning when I’m applying my face.

The second thing that makes this stand out is the formula which features a combination of cell-signaling peptides, avocado oil, apricot fruit extract, and gingko biloba extract to visibly lessen the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines.

Celavive Hydrating Eye Essence

I like a slightly fuller eye cream in the evening so this Hydrating Eye Essence is my daytime choice. It doesn’t interfere with eye makeup since it dries down. It’s not as emollient as other products but it’s not a cream, it’s more of a lotion. I apply this before moisturizing, I don’t bring my moisturizer up to my eyes so they meet partway.

Now you have the story of my latest skincare regime. Celavive, owned by USANA, is a new line for the US market and can be purchased from their website. If you are like me and want to use products that will make a difference in your skin then you need to try this out sooner rather than later. To help you along Beauty Info Zone has a giveaway for the Vitalizing Serum that we’re excited to offer to one US/Canadian subscriber.

As usual there are two mandatory entries which are checked before announcing a winner. You absolutely MUST be an email subscriber to Beauty Info Zone and you must leave a comment. Not too hard is it? Of course that doesn’t mean that everyone does this so many people get eliminated. The giveaway is open through 5/24/18 at 11:59 p.m. EST. I hope that the winner finds that Celavive will make a big difference in their skin too.  —  Marcia

Beauty with a purpose from Serendipity

Serendipity skincare

Do you ever wonder why or how a company got its name? I am testing a line named Serendipity and while I think the name is fabulous I was interested in knowing how it got that moniker. Turns out that the owner was serendipitously walking her dog Boo when she came across an abandoned dog tied to a tree without food or water. She rescued the dog (Bella) and thought about how much life happens by chance. She decided to leave her job in developing skincare products for other lines and create her own. Now she has Serendipity, a line that she takes great pride in while making ethical choices to benefit us all. As a dog lover I loved her story and wanted to know more about the brand.

  1. the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way.
    “a fortunate stroke of serendipity”
    synonyms: (happy) chance, (happy) accident, fluke;

This is a five product line. Their purpose is to use simple but powerful ingredients like hyaluronic acid and rare botanical stem cells to help turn back the sands of time. Their products are made to repair skin damage and help to prevent problems before they start. Using natural ingredients is the core of Serendipity’s line.

Architect Redefining Face Serum – Containing stems cells from the rare Swiss Apple plant this targeted product reduces wrinkles and fine lines and leaves your skin looking and feeling younger.

Perfection Hyaluronic Face Cream – Restores crucial moisture and encourages growth of new collagen fibers, leaving your skin vibrant and giving you that youthful glow.

Serenade Repairing Night Cream – Fight back against aging with this refreshing, restorative cream containing extract from the Cotton Thistle Plant and oil from the fruit of the Palm Tree.

Gaze Eye Cream – Fights dark circles and puffiness giving your peepers a youthful, rested appearance.

?Sparkle Eye Serum – Specially created for the delicate skin around your eyes. Sparkle Eye Serum boosts collagen production, increases elasticity, firms skin and fights wrinkles.

Beside having some gorgeous packaging, both outer and inner, I was attracted to Perfection Hyaluronic Face Cream instantly. After all it has the word Hyaluronic in the name. This is a morning moisturizer but I’ve used it at night mostly. Now what’s going to surprise readers most is that this is a fragranced skincare line and I always talk about not wanting fragrance. I almost backed away from Serendipity when I used it the first time since there is a floral fragrance but it’s a fresh, not cloying one. I notice it for the first 30 minutes after I apply the moisturizer but then it’s gone. 30 minutes is longer than I’d choose but it’s a non-issue for me in the long run.

Serendipity Perfection Hyaluronic Face Cream

The moisturizer itself is very soft to the touch. It feels good on my face and absorbs quickly without being sticky at all. It plays well under makeup which is vital.

Serendipity Perfection Hyaluronic Face Cream

The website gives 4 reasons to love the line:
  • Improves skins moisture retention abilities
  • Stimulates the production of new collagen
  • Conditions and smooths skin
  • Softens and invigorates skin

Ingredients: Purified Water (Aqua), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Squalane, Hyaluronic Acid, Laureth-7, C13-14 Isoparaffin, Polyacrylamide, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Serendipity Architect Rejuvenating Face Serum

Architect Rejuvenating Face Serum

There are a few reasons I like this face serum. I think the ingredients in it are top notch. It features stem cells cultivated from a rare Swiss apple, (Uttwiler Spatlauber) clinically proven to show extreme preservation qualities. It also uses seaweed extract to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. The serum is said to help collagen proliferation and skin rejuvenation.

Serendipity Architect Rejuvenating Face Serum

Every brand needs to have a pippete like Serendipity uses in their serum. When I push down the end I almost hear a click. It dispenses the perfect amount of serum each and every time. You can see that in my photo. That’s how much is released each time. It’s more than enough to use all over your face and neck.

Serendipity Architect Rejuvenating Face Serum

Serendipity Architect Rejuvenating Face Serum has a stronger fragrance than the moisturizer but seems to be lessened upon application of the Perfection Face Cream. It’s a little sticky but that too is lessened by the moisturizer. There’s a lot of science behind Architect which taught me that this serum helps collagen proliferation and overall rejuvenation.

From the website, 4 reasons to love this serum:

  • Helps reduce wrinkles and fine lines
  • Preserves longevity of skin stem cells
  • Delays senesance of essential cells
  • Preserves the vitality and youthful
    appearance of skin

Ingredients: Chondrus Crispus (Seaweed) Extract, Purified Water (Aqua), Hyaluronic Acid, Malus Domestica Fruit Cell Culture, Xanthan Gum, Glycerin, Lecithin, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

Now that you’ve learned about 2 of the 5 Serendipity stars you should investigate yourself to see how great this can be for your skin too.  —  Marcia

Baré it all and protect your skin with Baré Alchemy Serum

There’s something about Australia and the skincare created there that always is so interesting. I think it’s the pureness of a land with less pollution and more history in the creation of their skincare products. Baré Alchemy is a company that goes to different countries to find the best ingredients in the botanical world. While founded in Australia it goes beyond to bring the best secrets to their line.

Baré Protect Serum

Baré Alchemy has created 3 serums that contain the ingredient Kakadu Plum. I’ve seen this in other products but I can’t say that I’ve tried any with this fruit that can only be found in northern Australia. The serums are designated by skintype: Soothe Serum for dry skin, Protect Serum for normal skin, and Cleanse Serum for oily skin. I have PROTECT SERUM to explain and will give you a little more information on the other two since Baré wants you to find the best type for your own skin.

Baré Alchemy Protect Serum

Baré Protect Serum has two ingredients in it that make this a unique product. The first is Kakadu Plum.

Kakadu Plum

Kakadu plum is a natural superfruit wonder! This fruit contains the world’s highest concentration source of Vitamin C – up to 100 x more than oranges. This alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) fights oxidative stress to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. This extract is also shown to improve radiance and skin luminosity. The natural antioxidants in Kakadu plum extract, Vitamin C and polyphenols, reinforcing cell antioxidant defences, protecting your skin from attack by free radicals.

This incredible extract also stimulates the synthesis of pro-collagen and hyaluronic acid to actually reduce the evidence of aging. In controlled tests, 100% of participants showed improved skin luminosity with the use of Kakadu plum extract.

Found in Northern Australia, Kakadu plum is an ancestral food for the Aborigine people, providing vitamins during long treks or hunting trips, and was also used as an antiseptic and as a soothing balm for aching muscles.

Kakadu Plum is the hero ingredient in Protect Serum since it is packed with Vitamin C to firm, help fade dark spots and protect skin. It is loaded with antioxidants and will help regulate moisture and deliver nourishment to your skin. It’s an ingredient that is sustainably harvested too.

In addition to this safe and mild ingredient they use Caviar Lime Pearl.

Lime Pearl (Caviar Lime)

The precious Australian caviar lime fruit is naturally rich in AHAs, and gives us the amazing Lime PearlTM exfoliating agent. With fast clinical results, Lime PearlTM provides gentle skin exfoliation for a smoother, brighter and even skin complexion. Australian caviar lime contains various fruit acids such as citric acid. It also contains vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants which contribute to the health of your skin. By stimulating TRPV3 channels, Lime PearlTM offers a new mechanism to gently promote skin 30 minutes.

These are not ingredients I’ve noticed before in skincare. But Baré Alchemy finds what’s best for skin with these types of botanicals.

Baré Protect Serum

Now let’s talk about the serum itself. I have to tell you that the packaging is fabulous. It looks ethereal on my vanity. My mouth dropped open when I opened this beautiful bottle. But as beautiful as it is we need to know if it’s worth the luxury price.

Baré Protect Serum

Baré Protect Serum has been welcomed by my skin as it has helped brighten it during these dour winter days. It works on a cellular level so it’s particularly good for aging skin. I went through a few weeks in January that were difficult health wise but I kept up with my skincare since I didn’t want my skin to suffer. I feel that my skin remained luminous and it didn’t feel dry.

One of the most interesting things about this bottle is the applicator. You can see that “stick” standing up from the neck of the bottle. Well that’s the applicator. It has a rubbery cork like seal to preserve the product.

Baré Protect Serum applicator

As you pull it out you’ll find the scooped out stick to hold the serum so you can transfer it to your palms for application. There’s no spilling and you don’t get out more product than you need (or at least I don’t). It also keeps the serum from getting contaminated since you pour it directly into your palms. This can be used alone but I use it as my first step in my night routine. It dries quickly and I often use another serum over it and always end with my moisturizer/night cream.

There is a slight fragrance to this (I always mention fragrance!!) but one that isn’t noticeable after a few minutes so it doesn’t disrupt my sleep. I get nervous with botanical scents so I’m happy that this dissipates so quickly, I’m sure others wouldn’t even notice it.

This beautiful serum is $90 but you’ll end up using a small amount so it will last for quite a while. As a company that is cruelty-free and vegan know that it’s a brand that’s safe for your skin. Let this lovely serum or one of its sisters pamper you.  —  Marcia

Makeup Wars Must Have Winter product – Pur Attitude Fusion C

When Makeup Wars chose Must Have Winter Product as the topic of the week I was absolutely sure that I’d choose something cosmetic. I bought so many eyeshadow palettes and lip products in December that I had plenty to pick from. But I’ve found that it’s skincare that I’m concentrating on lately so my typical post isn’t my typical post. I can always talk about my oodles of eyeshadows but I am really loving Pur Attitude Fusion-C lately and seeing what it is doing for my 2018 skin is where I’m at.

Pur Attitude Fusion-C

I started out my recent skincare journey with Vitabrid C¹² FACE Brightening Powder which I attribute for my age spots starting to fade. I’m continuing it with Pur Attitude Fusion-C Vitamin C Serum to not only keep those spots at bay but to brighten my face with its 4 forms of Vitamin C.

Pur Attitude Fusion-C Vitamin C Serum

I was sick the first week of the new year and totally let my skin go. I didn’t use anything at all and felt dull as dishwater. When I snapped out of my funk the first product I reached for was this brightening serum. It contains some great ingredients: Ascorbic Acid, 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, and Sodium Ascorbate. Fusion-C Brightening Serum also contains BV-OSC Ester, which is an active form of Vitamin C that improves collagen synthesis. The serum’s benefits include improving the look of fine lines and wrinkles, lightening age spots, and discoloration with the use of Licorice Extract, Vitamin E, and Hydrolized Collagen.

Pur Attitude Fusion-C ingredient list

PUR attitude Fusion-C Brightening Serum quickly perked my skin back up and I’m grateful for that. This is a serum that I’m just using at night. It’s very thin and feels watery yet it absorbs quickly. You know I love Hyaluronic Acid in my skincare and Pur Attitude must know it too.

Fusion-C Brightening Serum is enhanced with the power of natural Hyaluronix™ technology, which delivers up to one thousand times its weight in water, binding moisture deeply into the skin. Hyaluronix™ uses a complex of three different molecular weights of Hyaluronic Acid to create a delivery system that encapsulates and time-releases key ingredients deep within the lower layers of the skin.

Pur Attitude Fusion-C Vitamin C Serum

Pur Attitude Fusion-C Vitamin C Serum

Part of my skincare journey is to brighten my skin so that the hyperpigmentation is lightened and evened out. I’m thrilled with how the serum has added to the journey. My skin looks less spotty and I see some increased elasticity in it now that this is part of my routine.

Since I need such a small amount of Fusion-C I feel this serum will last me a good amount of time. Pur Attitude follows a “Safe Beauty” standard and uses no harsh chemicals, parabens, PEG’s, glycols, sulfates, petro-chemicals, synthetic fragrances and artificial dyes. It’s fragrance free (yes!!!!) so it’s not offensive to anyone’s sense of smell.

If you join their reward program you’ll get $10 off your first purchase. Since this serum is reasonably priced at $39 joining makes it an even better deal. I’m interested in trying their Best Sellers Trial Size Kit ($19.99) to try their 5 top products. These seem to be the perfect size for travel.

As a Must Have for me I am obviously recommending it. Get your skincare journey going with this effective serum.  —  Marcia

Skincare products I’m currently using including PCA Skin Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum

What makes this magic? Hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate attract and hold 1,000 times their weight in water on the surface of the skin for instant smoothing and hydration. Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid penetrates deeper into the skin, attracting and holding moisture that’s already in the skin, and plumps fine lines from below the skin surface. Now tell me this isn’t magic. Especially as your skin ages and you start losing that bloom of youth.

PCA Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum gives my skin that extra plumpness underneath it all. I don’t need extra plump on my body but I want my face looking full and more youthful. The blend of ingredients in this serum increases your own body’s hyaluronic acid production.

What you’ll see when using this is a smoothing effect on your face. Before I apply any foundation is when I really notice it and it amazes me at times. This is a thicker serum than most I use so I mainly use it at night even though it’s meant for both day and night use. I prefer it at night so that it has time to work and settle in. My face is smoother in the morning and I swear I see less fine lines.

There are so many fine ingredients in this that make this a wonder for your skin.

Ceramides repair damage to your skin to support hydration retention.

HA-Pro Complex is a propriety blend that stimulates the production of the skin’s own hyaluronic acid and delivers 24-hour hydration. Even though Allure magazine has banned the words “anti-aging” our skin doesn’t know that and our skin wants these anti-aging ingredients.

Niacinamide strengthens your skin’s natural barrier to help prevent future damage.

And of course Hydrolized Hyaluronic Acid plumps fine lines from below the skin’s surface.

PCA Skin Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum

PCA Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum is recommended for all skin types even oily and acne prone. There’s a fragrance that I notice when I first apply it but it dissipates instantly, it reminds me a bit of an autumn night with a bonfire burning in the distance. But that’s just an initial fragrance that is gone before you know it. There’s no denying that this is a splurge when it comes to skincare but it’s your skin and taking care of it now means you can avoid more expensive treatments later.  —  Marcia
