All Lit Up Cosmetic Collection contains a contour & sculpt kit, a blush & luminizer kit, a smoky eye kit, along with an eyeshadow primer, a perfecting primer, and a setting spray. This fabulous set has just about everything you need. If I were gifting it I’d add in a mascara and a fabulous lip shade. What a perfect gift or gifts.

Hard Candy All Lit Up Cosmetic Collection: Smoky Eye Kit

This is, of course, the first thing I opened when I received this set. Smoky Eye Kit is terrific with a mix of neutrals and even a drop of purple added. These 9 shades were coordinated to give you a variety of smoked looks. 7 of the 9 are lightly shimmered while two are more satiny.

Hard Candy All Lit Up Cosmetic Collection: Smoky Eye Kit

The pigmentation in Hard Candy eyeshadows is amazingly good. I have two sets from past years that I pick over my more expensive palettes often. The colors are true to what you see in the pan. They don’t change so you know what you’re getting. The All Lit Up Cosmetic Collection also includes an eyeshadow primer so you are set for beauty.

Hard Candy Eyeshadow Primer

Hard Candy Contour & Sculpt Kit has what you need to take your face to new places. There are 6 pans in there so you can Prep, Brighten, Contour, Blend, and Illuminate all with one palette.

Hard Candy Contour & Sculpt Kit

Hard Candy Contour & Sculpt Kit

There are 4 cream products and 2 powders. It’s made to help you emphasize eyes, cheekbones, and your jawline. There’s even a tutorial guide on the back that teaches you the best placement.

Hard Candy Contour & Sculpt Kit

The creams are for prepping, blending, contouring, and illuminating while the two lightly shimmered powders are for brightening and contouring. Some of the shades look too dark for me but the way they blend is perfect so that it’s not obvious at all.

Hard Candy Primer Perfecting

By adding in the Sheer Envy Primer Perfecting you’ve got all you need prior to applying foundation. This primer helps to minimize lines and pores so you have a smoother finish. If you are breaking this kit apart then this is gift two.

The Blush & Luminizer Kit is a true beauty. Housed in metallic red it’s one terrific set.

Blush & Luminizer Kit

All the products are powders: Shimmer Blush in a glorious mauve/pink, Matte blush is a flattering neutral, Matte bronzer is a light bronzer without orange. The Luminizing Bronzer sits beautifully on top of the matte bronzer for a sweep of specialness and can also be used alone. The two Luminizers top off the set with their beauty in a light cream and gold.

Blush & Luminizer Kit

For gift 3 just add in the the Sheer Envy Long Wear Setting Spray to make these products last throughout the day and evening.

Sheer Envy Long Wear Setting Spray

I’m convinced this is the best buy on the market today. You can keep it in its original box and gift it to one person who’ll squeal with delight. Or you can break it apart into 3 gifts that cost you $5 apiece and thrill the recipients.

Hard Candy All Lit Up Cosmetic Collection

I’m so impressed with the Hard Candy All Lit Up Cosmetic Collection that I think gifting it as one is the way to go but then again I didn’t do well in economics in school. Which way do you want to go? Whatever you choose, go to Walmart to find this limited edition cruelty free collection before it’s gone.  —  Marcia

DECORTE Cosmetics Limited Edition Kate Moss Favorites Make Up Kit

Decorte Cosmetics Limited Edition Kate Moss Favorites Make Up Kit

If you are a regular reader of the BIZ, you know I am a HUGE fan of DECORTE Cosmetics. The color cosmetics are simply incredible. I wear something from this line every single day, no exaggeration – the foundation, concealer, primer, and lip palettes are fantastic. Kate Moss happens to also be a big believer as well as the brand ambassador and she has selected her favorites to create a must-have Makeup Kit ($190) that is available for a limited time only. When she was in Tokyo, Kate was totally blown away by the complete line which isn’t available in the states. She proposed curating her own personal selection to get the secret out and personally chose the items for this kit.

This kit includes a carry case; a palette with four shades, four eyeshadows, two cheek and face powders; a brow pencil; a lip pencil; a liquid eyeliner; and three brushes.  Spoiler alert:  the DECORTE Kate Moss Favorites Makeup Kit is worth every penny.

Decorte Cosmetics Limited Edition Kate Moss Favorites Make Up Kit

The carry case is a sleek back case that holds everything in the kit with room to spare.  One side zips open half way and holds the palette case. It has pockets on each side to hold lipsticks or smaller containers in place. The other side of the case has a full zip and opens flat. The left side has a hidden pocket and in front has covered storage for brushes and lip, eye and brow pencils. The right side has a clear pocket for even more storage. This is an awesome case – small but mighty.

There are three brushes included in the kit. The largest brush is for the two cheek and face powders. It’s ok…I can’t say that it is something I would use normally, but it works in a pinch. It’s really too small for all over and too big to get into small areas, so it’s the only thing in the whole kit that doesn’t do much for me. The other two brushes are great. The middle brush is an excellent eyeshadow brush, particularly for defining the crease. The smallest brush is fantastic lip brush. You will want to supplement these brushes with some of your own to make the kit complete, and there is plenty of room in the carrying case for more brushes.

Decorte Cosmetics Limited Edition Kate Moss Favorites Make Up Kit

So let’s dig into this gorgeous palette, shall we???  There are four lip shades, four eyeshadows, and two face/cheeks shades. Starting with the lip shades, we have four beautiful ‘amazing mattes’ as Kate calls them, ranging from neutral nude to deep wine.

They are creamy wonderfulness! Oh I love these. They are matte but somehow they make my lips look larger. They have a wonderful texture and the lasting power is terrific. They leave my lips soft and hydrated. I love each color by itself, but usually mix and match and layer for fun.

Moving on to the powdered products – the four eyeshadows are beautiful – lovely, buttery, richly pigmented and simply gorgeous. Kate’s favorite shade, the one that gets all the buzz is the ‘moss’ green shade, but they are all truly lovely.

The top photo has the moss-green eyeshadow on the left, which has a touch of yellow to it. I think it pairs beautifully with the creamy yellow next to it which has a bit of shimmer – fabulous. The deeper shades are below – a dark metallic purple-brown, and a midtone golden brown. I love the shades and the texture is incredible.

These two are the cheek/face powders. On the right is the overall face powder, a translucent illuminating powder that gives skin a beautiful soft glow. On the left is the cheek powder. It’s interesting – it’s really a highlighting powder, with more luminescence than the creamy white one. The yellow powder is even more brightening, and it looks spectacular against deeper or tanned skin tones. I wish there was a blush shade but I do love the two face powders and there is plenty of room in the carrying case for my own blush, that’s for sure.

Three other goodies inside include the Lip Pencil in PK820 Nude, the Brow Pencil in GY002 Neutral, and the Liquid Eyeliner in BK001 Noir.

The Lip Pencil in PK820 Nude is a twist up refillable non-sharpening pencil. The color is universally flattering, a neutral pink that looks good on just about everyone. The pencil is soft and glides on and makes for a great base for those amazing lip shades in the palette. I love this lip liner and carry it in my purse when I’m not taking the whole case with me.

The Brow Pencil in GY002 Neutral is supposed to be the right shade for everyone, but those with light blonde hair will find it to be too dark. It’s a great brow pencil though – it draws on perfectly, like true brow hairs. I do need a spoolie for my brows, and there is one on the opposite end – I forgot to get a photo!

I am in love with the Liquid Eyeliner in BK001 Noir. This comes with a separate cartridge that you load up, and the liquid saturates the brush with a few clicks. Inky black liquid liner that can be as demure or as dramatic as you wish. Fantastic!

Pictured above, top to bottom:  Noir Liquid Eyeliner, Nude Lip Pencil, Neutral Brow Pencil.

Overall, when you put everything together the look is fresh-faced with a bit of glam.  Here’s how mine turned out:

I also used DECORTE Priming Essence, Creme Concealer, and Soft Creme Foundation in Cool Ivory.

Overall, I think this is a truly standout collection. My only small comments are the face brush is nothing special and I wish there was a blush shade. Other than that, I am completely impressed and will use this palette down to the shiny pans!

The  DECORTE Cosmetics Limited Edition Kate Moss Favorites Make Up Kit won’t be available for much longer so get yours from Saks soon before they are gone forever!!  – Lisa

IT Cosmetics Superhero™ cosmetics make my day

No surprise to find out that I’m a fan of IT Cosmetics, as a matter of fact I think every blogger I know is a fan of the brand. Cruelty-free, anti-aging, some fabulous buys, and innovative products make it a unique cosmetic company that I find so reliable.

IT Cosmetics Superhero: mascara, liquid eyeliner, Eye Transforming Super Palette

In the Superhero family there’s the wonderful Superhero mascara, Superhero eyeliner (a black liquid liner), and Superhero™ Eye Transforming Anti-Aging Super Palette. That mouthful is what we’re concentrating on today and that you’ll be wanting to add to your eye wardrobe.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Eye Transforming Anti-Aging Super Palette

IT Cosmetics Superhero Anti-Aging Super Palette (from itcosmetics.com)

In this delightful palette you’ll find 12 eyeshadows: a set of Superhero Nudes, a trio of Superhero Neutrals, a line up of Superhero Liners, and 3 eyeshadow base shades. Mix and match or use the shadows in their grouping for dozens of combinations.

What makes this so special is that Jamie created this palette with plastic surgeons. She aims for anti-aging products for us and these shadows are formulated with hydrolyzed collagen, silk, peptides and antioxidants, plus innovative Superhero Pigment Power Technology™. They are very long lasting, don’t fade away, aren’t powdery, and don’t have shimmer yet they stand out.

Superhero nudes

Confidence eyeshadow base and Nudes in Limitless, Powerful, and Aura

The Superhero™ Nudes contain a light tan, a peach cream and a bright/beautiful milk chocolate. These can be worn alone for a no makeup look or do what I do and combine them with the Neutrals. Confidence is one of the top Eyeshadow Bases and it has a very light peach undertone to it.

Superhero™ Neutrals

Pow! Eyeshadow Base and Superhero™ Neutrals in Unstoppable, Superstar, and Fearless

The Superhero™ Neutrals go beyond neutral in my opinion. These are the ones I’ve worn the most. They make great crease colors with any of the eyeshadow bases or with the lighter nudes. Unstoppable is a golden shade that I love on my lid. I think it brings out the gold in my brown eyes. No shimmer though so it’s not garish. Superstar is a taupe with a purple undertone.  Fearless is the brightest of the bunch since it’s a copper and is very pigmented. Pow! is the eyeshadow base above it in the palette and it’s a light creamy nude.

IT Superhero™ Liners

Magical Eyeshadow Base and Superhero™ Liners in Bold, Daring, and Superhero

The Superhero™ Liners are matte shades that have super pigment. These can be used as a contour shade easily or as an eyeliner. They can be used wet or dry. Bold is a beautiful blue that’s not quite navy, it’s more of a dark denim. Daring is brown but it has a little bit of red undertone making it not “boring brown”. And Superhero is a charcoal that’s almost black but not harsh in any way. Magical is the eyeshadow base above it that I like as a lid shade. I think it looks fabulous with Fearless in the neutral section.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Anti-Aging Super Palette

There’s a great brush that works well with this palette and other eyeshadows that is bundled with the palette on QVC. I was amazed to see the price together as $39.54 since the palette sells on Ulta and IT’s website for $42.

IT Cosmetics brush

The one I have isn’t exactly the same but very close. Mine is the Heavenly Luxe No Tug Dual Eyeshadow brush while QVC has a Superhero Dual Eyeshadow Brush. The brush has one end for lining and the other for sweeping color on your lids and for blending. Here’s what Ulta has to say about the Superhero brush:

“To experience your Superhero eyes, use the eyeshadow brush end to apply your all-over shadow. Slide up the brush base one click to buff in your crease shadow. For added definition, slide up the brush base another click and smudge shadow along your lower lash line. To finish, use the angled eyeliner brush end to effortlessly apply your liner.”

What a buy! And what a way to pamper your eyes with anti-aging ingredients to help you conquer the world with your Superhero powers.  —  Marcia

Have a beautiful day with Models Own A.M. Kit

Good morning America (and everyplace else), it’s time to get up and face the day and Models Own is here to help. Their A.M. KIT DAYTIME EYES & CHEEK PALETTE is a great one to make you look and feel your best.

Models Own A.M. Kit

samplesaffiliate links

This is a palette that I’d say is more on the cool side of the spectrum but it’s also a neutral palette. It contains 6 eyeshadows and 1 blush. All the shades work so well together making it an easy one to create many looks.

Models Own A.M. Kit

I think of this as the palette I could wear early in the morning for work, yet brighten up for a night out. It’s also a palette I’d keep in a drawer at work since you never know when a great opportunity may arise and you want to improve your looks. (ignore the blush in the picture above since my camera just won’t capture the beauty of it)

Models Own A.M. Kit

What’s wonderful about this palette is that there isn’t a drop of glitter in site. There are 3 matte shades and 3 slightly metallic shadows but no glitter will appear on your eyes.

As you may know, I’m all about eyeshadows, so of course this review is mostly about the eyeshadows!

Models Own A.M. Kit

  1. Creamy beige that has a teeny amount of sparkle in the pan but I don’t see it on my eyes. This is a great lid or brow shade and works with every color in this palette.
  2. A peachy pink matte that is so flattering on. There’s never the appearance of rabbit eyes even though this has a good amount of pink to it. Even though I’m saying it’s a matte there’s no dryness to it.
  3. Metallic shade that is a chameleon. In some lights I see a lot of lavender, in some it looks taupe, and it can even look pink. It changes with the colors that accompany it on my eyes. While it’s a metallic it’s not that shiny once on.
  4. This dark brown applies lighter than it appears. It’s also a metallic in the pan but more of a satin once on your lid. Because I like a dark defining shade on my eyes this is the color that already has a slight dip in it. For me it pulls everything together.
  5. A matte very light nude shade. This highlights my browbone although it works well on the lid and as a light transition shadow.
  6. Another chameleon, this light taupe can look purple or more brown. I’ve worn #3, 5, and 6 together with #4 as a liner and that way it’s more purple. But if I wear #1, 6, and 5 together it all looks more brown.

These shadows need a primer as the pigmentation is lighter than a lot of shadows. Whatever you use to intensify and hold shadow should work well. A good budget brand is Milani Eyeshadow Primer or I like TF Shadow Insurance. I also love this palette with a liquid base like ELF Aqua Beauty Molten Liquid Eyeshadow or Inglot Aquastic Cream Eyeshadow.

Now about the blush – it’s fabulous and I don’t have a good picture of it. It’s a beautiful pinky peach with loads of pigment. And surprisingly the brush in the palette works really well with it. I never find a brush in a palette like this that I like but this one actually is decent even though I prefer a real blush brush.

Models Own A.M. Kit

The blush is much softer and pinker than this picture. It’s a great shade for the palette and for life.

This is one of Models Own better palettes. The shadows are nicely pigmented though not darkly pigmented. They aren’t powdery and I don’t get much fallout from the shadows. They last well all day for me with zero or minimal touchup for night but they absolutely need an eyeshadow primer to show up. The blush is terrific and one I’d love with or without the rest of the palette. It’s very long lasting and very flattering on light to medium skin.

This is an Ulta exclusive and Models Own is often on sale there so keep your eye out for this for yourself or as a gift for a teen just getting into makeup.  —  Marcia

Open up to pretty eyes with Mally Beauty with the Open Up! Eyeshadow Quad

Mally Beauty Open Up! Eyeshadow Quads

Looking for something new to open up those peepers, maybe some fresh new palettes for fall? Take a look at Mally’s Open Up! Eyeshadow Quad Set of 2 Eyeshadow Palettes, including Everyday Nudes and Everyday Deep Neutrals ($35, which also includes a dual-sided brush).

sample affiliate links

The Open Up! Eyeshadow Quad Set comes with the two palettes and a dual sided brush that I don’t have, but if you watch the video on QVC you can see the brush in action and it looks really nice. The two palettes feature neutral shades, one with day colors and the other with deeper evening shades. Both palettes have a combination of matte and shimmer shades, and the texture is soft and velvety thanks to the coconut butter-infused formula. I find that these eyeshadow apply easily, blend well, and last all day with a primer.

Mally Everyday Nudes Palette

The Everyday Nudes Palette has from top right going clockwise:  Sand, a shimmering creamy beige; Terra Cotta, a matte brownish orange; Earth, a shimmery deep golden brown; and Clay, a matte medium brown.

Mally Everyday Nudes Palette swatches, left to right:  Clay, Sand, Earth, Terra Cotta

Sand is a perfect base shade and I often wear just this plus some thick black eyeliner. I also love the Terra Cotta – it’s a great lid shade, as well as a beautiful crease shade for some depth without a lot of drama. Earth and Clay are nice, workhorse shades. This is a wonderful, versatile palette that is belongs in everyone’s collection.

The Everyday Deep Neutrals Palette

The Everyday Deep Neutrals Palette has from top right going clockwise: Cashew, a shimmery taupe; Brazil Nut, a matte medium brownish gray; Acorn, a shimmery bronze; and Almond, a shimmery medium brown.

The Everyday Deep Neutrals Palette, left to right:  Almond, Cashew, Acorn, Brazil Nut

The Everyday Deep Neutrals is more dramatic than the Everyday Nudes but it’s still demure enough for anytime, really. Cashew is a beautiful wash that might be too shimmery for some, but I love it. Brazil Nut leans a little purple on me, which I like. I use this as a crease shade then define it with Acorn and it is just gorgeous.

I think that Mally makes beautiful cosmetics that are infinitely wearable, especially for those of us who aren’t particularly graceful with our cosmetics. She is like the savior for those with bad eyes and pre-coffee hands. It is pretty impossible to overdo it with her palettes, and anyone from a novice to a pro can easily get amazing looks. Mally recommends starting with the eyeshadow in the top right corner then working your way around the palette going clockwise, with the top right shadow as your all over wash, bottom right on the lid, bottom left on the crease, and top left to line along the lashes. This is the way I use these palettes and it gives me great results every time.

You can find Mally’s Open Up! Eyeshadow Quad Set of 2 Eyeshadow Palettes as well as tons more Mally Beauty products at QVC.  Happy shopping!  – Lisa

More beauty from Hikari Cosmetics – eyes, lips, and cheeks, oh my!

Last Sunday, Marcia shared her beautiful Hikari products with you – the Jennifer Eyeshadow Palette, Iris Liquid Eyeliner, and Final Touch HD Powder.  This week I have more Hikari to love!  I tested the Jahren Eyeshadow Quad ($15), the Island Glow Blush ($15) and the Fireside Lip Crayon ($13).

Hikari Jahren Eyeshadow Quad

Hikari Jahren Eyeshadow Quad swatches

Jahren Eyeshadow Quad has two satin shadows and two matte shadows.  The names are Sage, Almond, Sable, and Magnetic.  I know which one is Sage, but the others I am not sure about – so I will just go in order top to bottom clockwise!  Top left is Sage, which is a gorgeous satin sage green.  This is a beautiful shade that is especially nice with hazel eyes.  I love it swept underneath bottom lashes – actually a trick Scott Barnes taught me many years ago with a similar shade of green he used to carry.  Next to the green shade is a pretty satin taupe shade.  Love this as a crease or lid shade.  The bottom row has the matte shades, first a light cream that is a great brow shade.  I also use it as an all over wash on days I am in a hurry.  Next to it is a deep chocolate-brown that is perfect for the crease or as a liner.

Hikari Island Glow Blush

Hikari Island Glow Blush swatch

The Hikari Island Glow Blush is a beautiful blush or bronzer.  I wear it as a blush on my low maintenance days, but typically I use it more as a contour.  I sweep it under my cheekbones then put a peachy/pink shade on the apples of my cheeks.  In the FOD pic below I am wearing only Island Glow.  It does give skin a nice glow and it’s tough to overdo this flattering peachy brown.  The Hikari blushes come in nine different shades and I would love to try some of the other shades because I find the texture is great and it really wears well.

Hiraki Fireside Lip Crayon

Hiraki Fireside Lip Crayon swatch

The Hikari Fireside Lip Crayon is really beautiful.  I wasn’t sure I could pull off such a bright color, but I just love this!  Fireside is a matte reddish pink that has some slip.  I put this on and it lasts quite a while.  Most reds turn pink on me, and this is no exception – it leans pink quickly.  It might be different for you based on your body chemistry.  I love the formula, the pigmentation, and the wear.  The Lip Crayons come in ten different shades and I am totally up for trying more of these!

Marcia and I both are very impressed with this cruelty free and PETA certified line.  We are looking forward to checking out more from Hikari, and we hope you are too.  – Lisa

3 summer beauty favorites from Pretty Vulgar, Eddie Funkhouser, and Nars

Did you ever get obsessed with something you bought? Do you have a large cosmetic collection yet ignore everything in it because you just can’t get enough of some products? That’s describing me and my summer beauty favorites these days.

Summer beauty love from Pretty Vulgar, Eddie Funkhouser, and Nars

As soon as Nars introduced their Liquid Blush I knew I had to have it. I was on a “no buy” and had promised not to buy anything before I moved … but the minute I moved, all bets were off. I needed Nars Orgasm Liquid Blush in my life. Having a $15 off $50 code from Sephora helped but it made me add something to my order. On a whim I ordered Pretty Vulgar Early Bird Eyeshadow Palette. I hadn’t seen one thing about this but I had heard of the brand. BEST MOVE EVAH!!

pretty Vulgar Early Bird Eyeshadow Palette

I’m in love with this. I have worn it every day since it arrived and I’m nowhere near to moving on to something else. I find new combinations of this every day. I can’t get enough of it.

pretty Vulgar Early Bird Eyeshadow Palette

There are 12 shades in this palette (which I didn’t swatch – so sorry) and I’ve used each and every one over and over.

Here’s my color interpretation:

TWEET: Very soft pink that seems a little powdery compared to the others. But using a light hand with it makes it a great browbone shade.

WINK: This is a peachy pink that I like on the browbone or lid. It also makes a good transition shade. I wear it on my lid and notice just a tiny bit of shimmer.

CHIRP: LOVE!!!! If you are into rose gold you will love this metallic shade. It’s the star of the palette in and on my eyes.

RISE: Rise is a matte pinky brown. It’s not an unusual shade but it works well with the other colors in the palette.

SHINE: Very pretty golden brown (pink undertones) with a nice sheen to it.

RUFFLED: This shade shocked me. When I opened the palette I figured I couldn’t wear it. It looked so shimmery to me. But I gave it a chance and now I can’t get enough of it. It’s a pinky lavender with shimmer that is much more visible in the pan than on my eye. I have no glitter fall out from it and it seems to brighten my look whenever I wear it.

UNRUFFLED: This is Ruffled once off steroids. It’s the matte version and it applies very smoothly. It looks great with the darker brown shades in the palette.

Pretty Vulgar Early Bird

NEST EGG: a soft matte brown with a neutral base.

TRUE COLORS: This is another favorite from the palette. It has some shimmer but it translates into a metallic shade. It’s a pinky mauve that gives my eyes a purple look. I haven’t been wearing much in the way of purple shadows but this lighter tone is close to perfection for me.

VICTORY: A matte chocolate brown, think of a Hershey’s square. It goes on smoothly with basically no fallout when applying it.

CONQUER: I can’t get enough of Conquer. I want to wear it daily. It’s a rich goden bronze with an almost metallic finish and very light shimmer. It gives me the oomph I want.

UNVEIL: This is the least used shade for me. Since Victory is in the palette I feel that this slightly darker matte brown is redundant. I’d have preferred another peachy shade instead of Unveil.

After I bought this I read the review that Temptalia wrote about Early Bird, and I wondered if we had the same palette. She doesn’t have a high opinion of this yet I find it a perfect way to get away from my typical taupes and browns. It’s got enough soft colors in it to make it a summertime pleasure and enough darker ones to add drama and style.

Eddie Funkhouser Quattro Variable Lash Mascara

When you have eyeshadows that make you look forward to waking up then you need a mascara that matches that quality and that’s where Eddie Funkhouser Quattro Variable Lash Mascara comes in. I’ve bought this mascara numerous times but my dear Eddie seemed to fall off the ends of the earth for a while. He’s back and he’s made me so happy. I’ve got some of his lip products coming up soon to share but for now let me write about my love for this mascara.

Eddie Funkhouser Quattro Variable Lash Mascara

This totally unique mascara gives you every look you can dream of. Depending on where you dial you can get 4 finishes from natural to va-va-voom. I typically apply two coats on #2 or 1 coat on #2 and 1 coat on #3. I get amazing definition, lots of volume, and happily some length. Eddie Funkhouser’s mascara has never smudged on me and lasts the entire day and evening without a problem. It coats your lashes, almost like a tubing mascara but not exactly. Sometimes when removing it I’ll find flakes of mascara but that’s only during removal. This $12.95 mascara is the best ever. And right now you can buy one and get one free! To celebrate Eddie Funkhouser’s birthday he’s having a BOGO sale. You’ll want two for sure!

NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm

What started my obsession is this blush. Once I saw it I knew I needed it. I’m glad I bought Nars Liquid Blush in Orgasm when I did since right now most of the cosmetic world is upset with Nars for changing their cruelty-free status.

NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm

I never could wear this blush in the powder form, it just didn’t look right on me. But this pinky peach liquid with a touch of shimmer is gorgeous in the liquid form. I’ve always liked cream and liquid blushes and this has become my favorite.

NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm

While it’s not the longest lasting blush it gives me hours worth of pleasure. If I have to touch it up I’ll often use a powder blush over it. The only caveat is that you need such a tiny amount and the pump gets out much more than you need. I pump out as small a portion as possible, apply with a cotton bud in dots on my cheeks, then blend with my fingers. It plays well with highlighters too like Model’s Own Golden Sands.

What are your summer favorites? I highly recommend mine and am thrilled to say they are gracing my face every day.  —  Marcia
