One thing you can always rely on is that Hard Candy is going to come through with the latest trend makeup to go along with the classics. Another thing you can always rely on is that the quality is high while the prices are low.

That’s the case with their latest products: Color Correct. Color Correct consists of three completely different products in a variety of shades to help you correct any color imperfections you are struggling with.

Hard Candy Color Correct

Hard Candy Color Correct

This is a limited edition collection for Hard Candy found only at Walmart so it’s wise to jump on this now before you regret it.

Hard Candy’s new limited edition line of color correcting primers and concealers offer the power to color your way for the ultimate in clear skin!  From combating dry skin, acne and dark spots, this limited edition collection has the perfect shade for every complexion.
Hard Candy Color Correct Radiant Primers

Hard Candy Color Correct Radiant Primers

Hard Candy Color Correct Radiant Primers are the star of the show. These babies are available in 6 colors and only cost $5. I’m totally amazed at the price compared to what’s available at Sephora and Ulta. You can buy all 6 of these for the price of one Urban Decay or Hourglass primer.

Hard Candy Color Correct Radiant Primer in Pink

Hard Candy Color Correct Radiant Primer in Pink

You can use the Primer in one of two ways – either prime your face with the shade of your choice and then apply your other face cosmetics or mix it in with your foundation. With the Pink shade I prefer to mix it in since it gives me so much more brightness and doesn’t add a layer.

These color correct products are available in Green to correct redness, Lavender to counteract sallowness and correct dullness for medium skintones, Pink also counteracts sallowness and dullness but for light skin tones, Orange to correct dark circles and spots for darker skin, Pink also corrects dark circles and spots but for lighter skin, and Yellow to help correct mild redness.

Hard Candy Color Correct Expert Creme Wands are perfect for small areas. These have a brush tip applicator and are a breeze to fit into the contours of your face. I love the wand for dotting under my eyes and then blending with my fingers, a blending sponge, or a brush. While I may not color correct daily, there are many times I wake up and need help desperately. The Lavender I was sent is wonderful for my undereye area. Green or yellow are what I’ll purchase for the redness especially around my nose in these allergy days. And for $5 I can happily pick up several.

To make it even better Hard Candy has Color Correct Expert Sticks in the same 6 shades. These are similar to a crayon and glide on easily. They are even retractable so you won’t waste product with sharpening. Use this under a concealer, like Hard Candy Glamouflauge (this gets huge raves), or under your foundation alone. You can pinpoint exact spots you want to correct or use them like the Expert Wand.

You absolutely can’t go wrong with these products unless you wait. Even online there are only a limited amount left to purchase. Just picture what a great Easter basket treat these would make for a gift. Colorful as Easter Eggs but useful and much longer lasting.  — Marcia

Color Correctors – splurge or steal?

Color Correctors - splurge or steal?

Color Correctors – splurge or steal?

Lately it seems that all we hear about are makeup trends. We spent months obsessing over contouring, we moved on to strobing, we’re stuck on highlighters and illuminators, and now we’ve got color correctors coming at us like gang busters. Color Correcting isn’t new but it’s having its day right now.

I remember years and years ago that Physician’s Formula had little tubes of color correctors that were very inexpensive. It made the brand more noticeable because no one else had anything like it. I remember finally caving when it was on sale for about $2 – and being disappointed. I wasn’t as experienced with cosmetics and I didn’t understand enough about blending.

Move forward to 2016 and Sephora has been tempting me with Color Correctors as have other brands. Here are some I’ve bought at different price points.

WET n WILD COVERALL CORRECTING PALETTE ($3.99) A steal!

Wet n Wild Coverall Correcting Palette

Wet n Wild Coverall Correcting Palette

I picked this up at Walgreen mainly because I knew that Makeup Wars was writing about this subject plus I wanted to see how an inexpensive color corrector would compare to the more expensive ones. This is the one to purchase if you are curious and don’t want to splurge. But it’s not the best out there unless you want the purple (to counter dullness) and green (to correct red).

Wet n Wild Coverall Correcting Palette

Wet n Wild Coverall Correcting Palette

The yellow is called Cover but it doesn’t cover anything on me; it’s meant to cancel out bruises or undereye circles. The white is their Highlighter but it’s pretty weak. Purple is what they call Normalize while they name the green Neutralize. The texture is very thick so you need to apply it with a light hand and blend it well.

PIXI CORRECTION CONCENTRATE, BRIGHTENING PEACH ($12) Save!

This was one of my first correctors and I fell in love with it. The matte peach is very brightening and is great under my eyes to help with my dark circles. It has great ingredients:

  • Rose Hip Extract has great cell regenerating and skin elasticity boosting properties
  • Vitamin A provides an anti-aging effect
  • Vitamin C brightens and revitalizes
  • Vitamin E nourishes and protects

The price is right and other than the small opening on the pot it’s excellent.

BECCA UNDER EYE BRIGHTENING CORRECTOR ($30) Splurge

If you follow me on Beauty Info Zone you know this is a favorite. This is a light and bright pink with a soft creamy finish. While it’s technically not a concealer, I don’t need one when I use this. I like the bigger opening on the jar and I like the consistency of the corrector. Some days it’s a little too bright for me if my dark circles are rearing their ugliest head.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correctors in Peach & Pink, Sephora Bright Future Color Corrector in Green

SEPHORA COLLECTION BRIGHT FUTURE COLOR CORRECTOR in GREEN ($14) Save

While the Sephora brand Bright Future Color Correctors come in 5 shades, they are always sold out. Right now the green and yellow are available online but once the pink and peach come in, they sell out instantly. That’s because the price is half that of the similar Urban Decay Color Correctors. The main difference that I see between the two brands is the applicator. Sephora Collection’s isn’t quite as nice and less comes out so you work a little harder. It’s definitely green and it applies dark at first but using a sponge I can blend it down easily. I use it by my nostrils and just under where I have the most redness and spot treat other areas. They key is to blend but not RUB away.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correctors in Peach & Pink, Sephora Bright Future Color Corrector in Green

Urban Decay Naked Skin Color Correctors in Peach & Pink, Sephora Bright Future Color Corrector in Green

URBAN DECAY NAKED SKIN COLOR CORRECTING FLUID in PEACH & PINK ($28) Splurge

I first bought this in Peach and liked it so much I went back for the Pink. The consistency of these is great for correcting, they’re soft and blend extremely well without a lot of work. They are what’s getting the most use in my correcting routine these days. The Peach looks very orange at first but it blends down enough to cover dark circles without showing as orange. Pink is meant to brighten dark areas. I sort of say “eeny meeny” to decide which to use each day. A sponge is the tool I prefer with these. I first warm them with my finger then use my sponge to softly blend these.

MAKE UP FOR EVER 5 CAMOUFLAGE CREAM PALETTE ($40) Splurge

Make Up For Ever 5 Camouflage Cream Palette

Make Up For Ever 5 Camouflage Cream Palette

I bought this palette when I was freelancing, as you can see it’s unused and I didn’t swatch it. It is really more of a concealing palette but the colors are mostly too dark for me. This is #1 the lightest one (for light to medium skin tones with redness concerns) and there are 5 total. I probably should have bought #5 (pro palette featuring color correcting shades for most skin tones and highlighter/concealer) since it’s more for correcting than concealing.

FACE STOCKHOLM CORRECTOR QUAD ($32) Splurge

Face Stockholm Corrector Quad

Face Stockholm Corrector Quad in Ljus

The Face Stockholm Corrector Quad came in a Wantable subscription and was one of the highlights of my years long subscription. Ljus is the lightest of the 3 Corrector Quads available. Mine has been used too much to photograph but I really did like having this all in one quad. While I didn’t get much use out of the yellow I did from the other 3 shades.

As you can see, I’m fascinated with these type of products and totally obsessed with them lately. While this craze has cost me a lot lately, I’m enjoying using all of these (well not the MUFE which I haven’t broken into yet). It’s hard to recommend just one but to save money you might want to look at the Sephora Collection colors or a quad like Face Stockholm’s.

What do you like for color corrector? I’m always up for more.  — Marcia

Makeup Wars - under eye products of the month

Makeup Wars – under eye products of the month

What products do you have use that are strictly for under your eyes? What products do you have that will multi-task so that you can use them under your eyes and elsewhere on your face? That’s what this week’s Makeup Wars is taking on. I went through my drawer that I keep most of my concealers in and pulled out what you see in the above picture. These are the items that are in current use but oh baby, there are more. Let’s take a look though to see what Marcia’s eyes are sporting these days.

ATAL Advantage Velvet Eye Serum and Sustainable Youth Anytime Lift Eye Treatment with alasta

ATAL Advantage Velvet Eye Serum and Sustainable Youth Anytime Lift Eye Treatment with alasta

I had to start with the eye serums that I’m using lately. I didn’t really realize until I took my pictures that I was using an eye serum day and night. In the morning I’m using SUSTAINABLE YOUTH ANYTIME LIFT EYE TREATMENT with ALASTA*. I’ve chosen that for mornings because it doesn’t interfere with makeup and it helps with puffiness and dark circles. At night I’m loving ATAL ADVANTAGE VELVET EYE SERUM* which will get a complete review soon.

ATAL Advantage Velvet Eye Serum and Sustainable Youth Anytime Lift Eye Treatment with alasta

ATAL Advantage Velvet Eye Serum and Sustainable Youth Anytime Lift Eye Treatment with alasta

ATAL Advantage Velvet Eye Serum is a cross between a serum and an eye cream. I took to this like a duck takes to water. I’m loving how the ingredients are helping to moisturize my undereye area and fighting my fine lines.

Next are my correctors. At the moment I’m going between two different ones. PIXI CORRECTION CONCENTRATE in BRIGHTENING PEACH* and BECCA UNDER EYE BRIGHTENING CORRECTOR.

Pixi Correction Concentrate and Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

Pixi Correction Concentrate and Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

PIXI Correction Concentrate in Brightening Peach is a thicker product and needs an eye cream under it to make it go on smoothly. This really does a great job of cancelling out dark circles. I always use a foundation with this since it can look a little too peach otherwise on my fair complexion.

Pixi Correction Concentrate and Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

Pixi Correction Concentrate and Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector is a softer product. The texture is creamier so it glides on easily and the color is more brightening. The price difference is substantial ($12 and $29) so if you are on a budget go with Pixi.

I can’t seem to get enough concealers, it’s one of my weaknesses. While I chose 6 here there are more that I use and love. I use all of these concealers under my eyes and some I’ll use elsewhere on my face too. When we leave the house at night the first thing I do is grab a concealer and fix my face.

Concealers from IT Cosmetics, Nars, Dior, tarte, CoverFX

Concealers from IT Cosmetics, Nars, Dior, tarte, CoverFX

1.  IT COSMETICS CC+ EYE* … Originally this was only available in a TSV but IT got smart and it’s now available separately. I have 3 different IT Cosmetics undereye concealers but chose to show this one because it has SPF50+ and it’s got amazing coverage. This is the concealer that has a slanted metallic applicator though I seem to get too much out if I apply it with the applicator. This is a full coverage concealer which may be too heavy for some people in summer but I use a very small amount and blend well.

2.  COVER FX CAMOUFLAGE CONCEALER aka Conceal FX is one I use anywhere and everywhere. This is a terrific general concealer so you really can buy this and be done. When I saw that they manufactured this in X-Light I was instantly sold.

3.  TARTE SMOOTH OPERATOR AMAZON CLAY CONCEALER is one of two tarte concealers I love, the other being Maracuja Concealer in the tube. This is the only stick concealer that I use even though I have much more expensive ones. I love the portability, the ease of application and that it comes light enough for me in Fair.makeup wars undereyes concealers all4.  NARS RADIANT CREAMY CONCEALER in Light is one I didn’t take to right away. I bought it because of the raves but it took me a while to like it. It will never be my favorite but it’s the wand concealer I find myself using the most these days. It’s very creamy and long lasting.

5.  DIORSKIN NUDE CONCEALER has gone through a few changes. I bought this originally and within weeks they came out with a new improved version so I exchanged it. It’s a great undereye concealer and one I like to use a lot to touch up with at night.

6.  DIORSKIN STAR CONCEALER is an even newer version of concealer for Dior. I use this interchangeably with Dior’s Nude Concealer and don’t see much difference between the two.

Charlotte Tilbury The Retoucher, Dior Skinflash, YSL Touche Eclat

Charlotte Tilbury The Retoucher, Dior Skinflash, YSL Touche Eclat

Last are my highlighting concealers from Charlotte Tilbury, Dior and YSL. YVES ST LAURENT TOUCH ECLAT has been a favorite for years and years. I’ve gone through half a dozen of them. I like the original formula, Radiant Touch, because it brightens my undereyes and gives them a lift. I wear this any time I want to look and feel my best. CHARLOTTE TILBURY THE RETOUCHER is my newest one and I think I bought it because of the brand. I have it in #1 Fair and it’s a got good concealing properties along with a touch of brightening. DIOR SKINFLASH RADIANCE BOOSTER PEN is Dior’s answer to YSL. I bought this in #2 which has just a small touch of peach to it.

It takes a lot to be presentable these days!!  Which of these have your tried? Which of these do you want to try? Check out what the other Makeup Wars bloggers use so you can find a favorite. — Marcia

My beauty blogger influenced buys

Makeup Wars is back with a topic near and dear to me. It”s all about how other bloggers have influenced us in our purchases. Near and dear? Yes because I read dozens of blogs a day and I communicate with a lot of bloggers so they usually have me on my toes and opening my wallet. Two of my “influensters” are Phyrra and Blushing Noir but they aren’t the only ones who my credit card companies call to thank.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O and Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

Bioderma Sensibio H2O and Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

The two products I am showing you today are the ones I use daily and I’m so glad that my fellow bloggers showed me the way.
FIRST we have BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector which was purchased because of Gouldylox aka Kelly. She’s been a bad influence on me for a long time but when I read her review of the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector I knew I had to buy it ASAP. When she first reviewed it it was sold out everywhere but when it came back into stock I jumped.

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector ($29) is a very light peach cream corrector. It’s not a concealer, it’s a corrector. It has a luminous quality to it. For me it hides dark circles just about better than anything I’ve tried. It’s not that I don’t have peach correctors that I like because this isn’t the only one I use but it’s by far my favorite and the one I reach for when it’s time to look rested, line free and ready for the rest of my face makeup.

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

Some people use this as a base for concealer but for me it’s perfect on its own and I can apply my foundation or CC Cream without anything else. Because of its luminosity (it’s infused with ultrafine light-reflecting illuminators) I only use it under my eyes and rely on another concealer for redness especially around my nose.

 Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

It’s a firm texture but using the warmth of my fingers makes it just glide on. I’m so in love!! You can find this at Sephora, beauty.com and Amazon. Just find it!

Bioderma Sensibio H2O and Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

Bioderma Sensibio H2O and Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector

My second love is Bioderma Sensibio H2O which has been raved about by so many bloggers. On one of our group posts almost every blogger raved about it and I felt left out (oh boo hoo). Finally I read Pammy’s review (Pammy Blogs Beauty) and I rushed to Beautylish and bought it.

A Micellar Water is hard for me to understand to be honest. It looks like regular water but it has magical powers (I’m prone to exaggeration at times). The Bioderma Micellar Water is a fragrance free facial cleanser that helps remove your makeup or just freshen your skin. There are two formulas with Sensibio H2O being the one for sensitive skin. It’s specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skin types.

Bioderma Sensibio H2O

Bioderma Sensibio H2O

What I do is put some on a cotton pad and use that to wash my face. I bought the one in the collage which is one 500 mg bottle and the travel size bottle as a bonus ($19.95). Even though I’m nowhere near done I know I’m buying the next package that contains two 500 mg bottles plus a 250 mg bottle for $39.90. If you aren’t sure that this is for you then start with the 250 mg bottle at $13.95.  I doubt I’ll be buying anymore facial wipes now since Bioderma Micellar Water gets my face cleaner and leaves behind no residue at all. My face is softened and cleansed. Some people use this as an eye makeup remover but it’s usually not powerful enough for me to remove mascara.bioderma 1
BIODERMA SENSIBLO H2O is “A soothing emollient thanks to cucumber extract, it clears up irritated skin and produces a feeling of instant freshness. Fragrance-free, alcohol-free, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic”.
What do you think of my two choices? Have you tried either? Have I tempted you to spend on these? Since I wholeheartedly love these I’d feel no qualms if you did buy them. — Marcia

Polished perfectly with Pixi Beauty

pixi april inside box

For some reason I never noticed the inside of the box when I receive a package from Pixi Beauty for consideration. While the box itself is the same each time, the month’s products are always a delightful surprise. And the quote from Petra, the founder of Pixi Beauty, hit home this time “I can help women capture their natural beauty effortlessly.” That’s more fitting for this trio of products than others I use from Pixi.

April's newest product from Pixi Beauty

April’s newest product from Pixi Beauty

These three products help give me a minimal makeup look if I want. They work together perfectly together or alone.

Let’s start with H2O Skintint ($24) which is a water based gel that is available in 3 shades. I have the middle shade Nude which is a little too dark for me but I am able to tone it down with a drop of a lighter BB Cream to make it blend in well on my skin. The lightest shade, Cream, would probably work perfectly for me so I’ll have to check Target to see if this is in stock.

The ingredients in this are soothing as well as moisturizing. The finish is considered to be a semi-matte. I love that it’s fragrance free.

Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush

Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush

Pixi’s FULL COVER FOUNDATION BRUSH is my favorite product in this review. It’s fabulous whether you want it for full coverage or for a lighter coverage like the H2O Skintint. This brush is a bargain at only $15 and it’s one you need in your collection, even if you already own a foundation brush.

Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush

Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush

The head on this brush is what makes it such a delight to use. It’s fuller than the typical foundation brush and very dense. It’s so soft that I want to use it all the time. Foundation practically blends itself with the use of this brush. It can be used for powder, especially a powder foundation, or concealer on larger areas too. This never leaves my face with brush strokes, just with natural looking foundation.

Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush

Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush

The last delight is one I was really excited to see in the box. In a previous Pixi review I wrote about how much I love the Correction Concentrate in Brightening Peach because it covers my dark circles. Well it now has a friend that’s so much easier for me to use because it’s in crayon form. UNDERCOVER CRAYON in PERK-UP PEACH is the baby sister of Correction Concentrate. This is a new product from Pixi Beauty and comes in 4 shades. Perk-Up Peach ($14) is for brightening and neutralizing redness and dark circles.

The peach crayon applies lighter than my purposely darker swatch and blends in well with either my finger, a sponge or Pixi’s foundation brush. I like to use it in a V shape under my eyes using the side of the crayon, not the tip. I also use it at the corners of my nose to neutralize the redness that I usually have there. Here are the details from Pixi: “Youth-preserving formula with peptides to plump lines, wild rose to nourish & liquorice root to fade darkness. Dries matte, stays put and looks super natural.”  Youth preserving? They had me at that one!!

As usual Pixi and their cruelty free products make me sit up and take notice. Products I need at affordable prices that are easy to use. What are your favorites from Pixi? — Marcia

Tarte Cosmetics Fall 2014 Collection review and swatches part one

Sultry, but subtle.  Essentials for day that can take you into night.  Tarte Cosmetics has a beautiful new LE collection for fall, and today I have reviews and swatches of the primers and concealers they sent us.  I previously reviewed the stunning Rainforest After Dark Palette HERE, be sure to check it out.  Tomorrow I will review five more products from the awesome Fall 2014 collection.

First up – primers.

1.  clean slate timeless smoothing primer ($39)  This is part of the new collection, although thankfully it’s a permanent product.  The clean slate timeless smoothing primer is a thick and creamy silicone-based primer that comes in a glass jar.  It leaves skin super smooth, filling in all those wrinkles and smoothing pores for flawless makeup application.  It keeps makeup vibrant and fresh and is an excellent choice for people who like silicone-based primers.

tarte colored clay CC eye primer

2.  colored clay cc eye primer stick ($21)  This is a color correcting eye primer that brightens the eyelid, primes it for eyeshadow application, and keeps eyeshadow from fading and creasing.  I have oily lids and this takes care of that issue stat.  I also like it as a base color all by itself.  My eyelids have an uneven color and some redness, and this primer stick does a great job of evening and creating a neutral base.  Another plus – it doesn’t need sharpening, just twist up from the bottom for more product.

The Fall 2014 collection features one color corrector and one concealer:

1.  colored clay cc undereye corrector ($24) is a CC cream that color corrects and brightens the under eye area.  It comes in two shades:  light-medium and medium-tan.  The shade I have swatched is light-medium.  This creamy color corrector has a tiny bit of shimmer that reflects light and camouflages darkness under the eyes.  It is a color corrector, not a concealer, so using this under concealer really helps to brighten and make eyes look younger.  Definitely PAT this under the eye for the best effect – rubbing or even buffing it with a brush will diminish the effect.  Follow your patting with tarte maracuja creaseless concealer and it takes years off your look.

Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Waterproof Concealer

2.  maracuja creaseless concealer ($22) is one of the best concealers ever.  It is a very thick, creamy concealer that covers like crazy.  You don’t need much, a small amount gives creaseless coverage that lasts all day long.  If you have dark circles, you want this concealer.  It is a must-have.

Stayed tuned for the rest of the collection tomorrow, including the best in faux lash extending fibers, colored clay tinted brow gel, lipsurgence lip gloss in Envy, Amazonian clay dual liner duo gel liner, and the be charmed limited-edition picture perfect eyelash curler.  – Lisa

I’m happy to say Bye Bye Redness with It Cosmetics

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness

It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness

I’m a Bye Bye lady. I love my IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Products. On my bathroom counter are the things I use most. If you came by you’d see Bye Bye Undereye and Bye Bye Pores. Well these two items now have a companion with It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness. (This was sent for review consideration.)

It Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream

It Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream

As soon as I saw that It Cosmetics had created this I was intrigued. I’m lucky enough not to have rosacea but that doesn’t mean I don’t have splotchiness on my face. That splotchiness is always red so having a solution to this is something I’ve been looking for. What Bye Bye Redness does is camouflage the red tones on your face which can be from a variety of things like broken capillaries, blemishes, rosacea etc.

Bye Bye Redness open

Bye Bye Redness open

When I first opened this I thought I’d opened a jar of foundation. It has a similar consistency to some of the foundations that I have in jars. But this is more densely pigmented since it has a job to do. It needs to cover while still keeping your skin looking like you aren’t wearing foundation. It’s considered to be a neutralizing correcting cream.

it redness box

it redness box sideThe “official” name of this is Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream. That explains it all. It’s a lightweight formula that’s infused with “color correcting and red canceling pigments to camouflage red-toned skin discolorations from roasacea, broken capillaries, blemished skin, irritated skin, sun damage and more.” The formula includes colloidal oatmeal, aloe, avocado and chamomile to help with inflated and/or irritated skin. It also contains peptides, collagen and hyaluronic acid to keep skin soft, supple and radiant. It Cosmetics tells us that this is a universal shade that adjusts to your body chemistry to create the coverage.

It Cosmetics baby kabuki

It Cosmetics baby kabuki

products in the holder

products in the holder

If you buy this from QVC it comes with the cutest little kabuki brush and holder for $39.50, if you buy it from the IT Cosmetics website it costs $32 alone. As much as I love this little brush since like all It Cosmetics brushes it’s wonderfully soft and effective,  I find that it gives me a slightly heavier application than I prefer. I’ve worn Bye Bye Redness as a foundation though and the brush was perfect. But the ideal way for me to wear this is to spot treat and use my finger. I put the tiniest bit on my index finger and dab it on the red areas. Then I blend it in with my fingers thinning it out. I love to use it this way. It evens out my complexion because I’ve used it just where I need to cover red. When I apply foundation or BB Cream over this I use my Beauty Blender sponge since that doesn’t move Bye Bye Redness around,  you just bounce the sponge over your foundation. A perfect combination is born.

blended with my finger

blended with my finger

My suggestion is to buy this the first time from QVC so that you get that holder that will look adorable on your vanity plus the great mini kabuki for only $7.50 extra and then when you need more Bye Bye Redness to buy it directly from IT Cosmetics website and save money. That gives you the best of both worlds! Speaking of the best remember that It Cosmetics is made in the USA, it’s paraben free, talc free, sulfate free, cruelty free, hypoallergenic and noncomedogenic! That’s a mouthful but a good one. It Cosmetics has created another winner. — Marcia
