Be a Stone Cold Babe with Buxom on your eyes

Buxom Cosmetics delightfully created three gift sets for us this holiday season. I’ve already shared the 6 Degrees Below Sexy and Buxom Freezes Over holiday lip sets and now it’s time for my very favorite: Buxom Stone Cold Babe eyeshadow kit. Anyone that knows me knows I’m crazzzy about eyeshadows. If I can only splurge on one item that’s what it’s going to be. Yes I am obsessed with mascara, foundation, and concealer too but nothing gets me going like eyeshadows and Buxom Stone Cold Babe makes my heart sing. I was upset because I didn’t share this with you early but I’m actually glad now because this fantastic gift set is on sale at both Sephora and Ulta for $29 instead of the original $42. I’m telling you that you need this – you really do!

Buxom Stone Cold Babe

Buxom Stone Cold Babe

The minute this was sent for review purposes was the minute I fell in love. One dozen eyeshadows in shades I love. Finishes of matte, shimmer, sparkle, and metallic all add up to a bit of perfection. Not only do the shadows wear beautifully but they work together in a myriad of ways that makes me want to use them in different combinations daily. These are neutral shades that may not suit everyone but they are the types of colors I’m most comfortable wearing.

Buxom Stone Cold Babe

Buxom Stone Cold Babe

While I swatched these over an eyeshadow primer Buxom’s eyeshadows stand out because they are primer-infused shadows that are incredibly pigmented. I love the smoothness of these and I’m crazay about the longevity of the shadows.

There are 4 shades that are new and exclusive to this set – Velvet Snow (1st left on the bottom), Frosted Petal (top row 5th shadow), Graphic Glam (bottom row 5th shadow), and Black Tie (bottom row right corner). These are wonderful additions to the previously released 8 shadows. It’s perfect to have these all together in one Fire & Frost palette.

To make this palette even better is the inclusion of the bestselling Buxom Lash Mascara in Blackest Black. While this is a mini, it will last me close to three months. This is a volumizing mascara that doesn’t flake on me. Even better is that this palette is customizable and refillable. Just open the drawer from the right-side and pop in and out Buxom Eyeshadow Bar Single refills.

If you are searching for the perfect eyeshadow palette for yourself or a friend, you can’t beat Stone Cold Babe with its 12 gorgeous shadows and mini mascara. The price is one that should make you snatch it up instantly. I promise you’ll look like a hot babe!  —  Marcia

“This sheer, high-shine lip polish creates the look of fuller, more voluptuous lips with a refreshing tingling sensation and gentle plumping effect. Infused with vitamins A and E, the lip formula helps keep your lips soft, supple, and protected to ensure your smoothest moves ever. ” Sold at both Ulta and Sephora.

BUXOM FREEZES OVER is on sale right now at Sephora and Ulta. At $59 it was already a great buy with 15 lip colors and 3 finishes but for $45 it’s a steal that you need to get on ASAP.

Buxom Freezes Over

Can’t you just hear the screams of delight from someone who receives this? The 15 products are one of 3 formulas: Full On Lip Polish which are sheer plumping glosses, Fill On Lip Cream which is also a gloss formula yet they are opaque and last longer, then there are the Wildly Whipped Lightweight Liquid Lipsticks and those are a combo of matte and cream.

Buxom Freezes Over

Full On Lip Polish shades are Emma (opulent opal), Sandy (almost naked), Sugar (pink truffle), Nicole (shimmering strawberry) and Jane (huckleberry jam). As you can see they have a sheerness to them and look great over a coordinating lipstick. These have a nice plumping effect and there’s a rich caramel fragrance to them.

Full On Lip Cream shades are White Russian (pink nude), Dolly (dusty mauve), Berry Blast (vivid fuchsia),  LE Sangria (ripe cherry), and Berry Bramble which is LE to the set (rich boysenberry). The Lip Creams are more opaque and last longer on my lips. They have a vanilla fragrance to them.

Wildly Whipped Lightweight Liquid Lipsticks bring you the depth and longevity you are looking for all year round. They have a matte like finish but they have a buttery look and feeling to them. They aren’t ultra matte so they don’t look drying. Buxom says they have the pigment of a lipstick with the comfort of a gloss.

The shades are Devious Dolly (sultry mauve), Criminal (black violet), Centerfold (warm nude), Lover (raspberry) and Dominatrix (true red). I don’t notice a fragrance with these.

Buxom Cosmetics has created some 5 star sets that I’d be thrilled to give and get. They are formulated without Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates and remain on the cruelty free list. Give someone a thrill (and get one for you at the same time).  —  Marcia

Favorite fall eyeshadow palettes

Favorite eyeshadow palettes for fall

Favorite eyeshadow palettes for fall

While this is supposed to be Top 10 Tuesday for me it’s Top 7 Tuesday. I decided to just choose eyeshadow palettes I own and rely on rather than make a wishlist. I’m excited about my choices and recommend all of these highly. Some were received for review, others were bought, and all are loved and recommended.

LANCOME AUDA(CITY) in PARIS ($68)

LANCOME AUDA[CITY] IN PARIS

LANCOME AUDA[CITY] IN PARIS

This is the first Lancome palette I’ve bought in years. There are 16 shades in 4 finishes. They are set up almost like four individual palettes. The colors are Filigree (light gold shimmer), Choquette (peach matte), Parfait (light pink matte), Kitten Heel (gold copper shimmer) , Joie (golden brown shimmer), Voyage (muted purple matte), Sante (brown matte), Éclair (purple metallic), Exhibition (orchid shimmer), Zip Me Up (deep purple shimmer), Volcano (silvery gray shimmer),  Clock Strikes 12 (gray metallic), Audacious (smokey brown shimmer), Couture (dark brown matte), It List (black matte), Nuit (deep charcoal metallic).  This palette was designed by Lisa Eldridge who was inspired by the streets of Paris. It’s the kind of palette that takes you from day to night, from running errands or going to work to a soiree. After seeing so much hype about the palette I instantly bought it during a Lancome GWP and I’m glad that I did.

TOM FORD NUDE DIP ($80)

I reviewed this much loved palette (here) so you can see fresh pictures of it. This contains a light gold, a light rose gold, a medium taupe and a chocolate brown. It’s my one and only TF palette and if they were all like this without glitter but lots of sheen, I’d own them all.

BUTTER LONDON NATURAL CHARM ($39)*

butter LONDON now has eyeshadows called Shadow Clutches and I’m loving it. There are two ShadowClutch palettes – Natural Charm and Pretty Proper.  The shades in Natural Charm are Linen (Matte Vanilla), Quartz (Warm Beige Sheen), Camo (Dark Khaki Sheen), Camel (Matte Nude), Citrine (Coral Sheen), Leather (Matte Chocolate Brown. These are primer infused and the pigments are great. A full review is on the way.

MAKEUP REVOLUTION LONDON in MERMAIDS FOREVER ($15)*

Makeup Revolution in Mermaids Forever

Makeup Revolution in Mermaids Forever

This beautiful Ulta exclusive has 32 shades that will satisfy the needs of everyone. I know it’s early for Christmas presents but this would be a delight for any makeup lover to find in a pile of gifts. It’s affordable enough that you can buy it for gifts and one for yourself. While the theme is Mermaids with its beautiful blues, teals, and greens you’ll also find a bevy of neutrals. Makeup Revolution is a UK brand that only came to the US at Ulta stores in the summer. No swatches yet of this but they’ll be coming.

BUXOM CUSTOMIZABLE PALETTES ($40)

After using a buxom Customizable Palette and finding the pigmentation to be utterly amazing, I just had to put together one in the neutral family. Be sure you buy this in one bundle since separately the eyeshadows ($12 each) and empty palette would be $112. The colors in my palette are Champagne Buzz (shimmering pearl), Haute Couture (metallic java), Jetsetter (matte greige), Satin Seduction (Bisque Luster), Mix & Mingle (matte vanilla), Style Icon (Mettalic Taupe). I think you’ll have better luck finding these at Sephora since they are selling like hotcakes online.

SLEEK MAKEUP i-DIVINE STORM PALETTE ($11.99)*

Sleek Makeup Storm Palette

Sleek MakeUP Storm Palette

Sleek is another brand from the UK and is one of the most coveted brands from there. There are a lot of Sleek MakeUP iDivine palettes and I was lucky to get Storm which was one I’ve been eager to try. The shades are Sand Storm (golden brown, Snow Storm (lighter gold), Calm Before the Storm (matte beige, Thunder Storm (brassy gold), Perfect Storm (rose gold), Firestorm (bronze), Dust Storm (deeper bronze), Gathering Storm (dark pewter), Storm Cloud (teal pewter), Electric Storm (shimmery navy), Eye of the Storm (matte light brown), Blackout (matte black). What I love about this palette is that there’s a mix of matte and satin shades. Full review will follow.

MAKE UP FOR EVER 9 ARTIST SHADOW PALETTE VOLUME 1 (NUDES YOU NEED) ($42)

Make Up For Ever 9 Shadow Artist Palette volume 1

Make Up For Ever 9 Shadow Artist Palette volume 1

Make Up For Ever’s 9 Shadow Artist Palette is the oldest one in this group. Did I need another neutral palette? Of course not and at first I was a little sorry I bought it. But once I started using it I realized there were some shades that I really liked. These shades are available individually but putting 9 in a palette makes it a better buy. The shades are (going down the rows) I-528 Pearl, S-556 Taupe Gray, S-102 Onyx, I-514 Pink Ivory, D-562 Taupe Platinum, I-544 Pink Granite, ME-512 Golden Beige, ME-644 Iced Brown, D-652 Celestial Earth so it runs the gamut of finishes. I get the most use out of Pearl, Pink Ivory, Pink Granite, Golden Beige and Iced Brown. The two shades marked D (diamond) are too glittery for me) and I don’t line with black so Onyx is pristine. But 6 out of this palette makes this a buy I no longer regret.

The beautiful Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes are amazing

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes

When you shop for eyeshadow do you often look and say “I’d love that but I don’t like these 2 colors so maybe I shouldn’t buy it” or “If only this palette had a bright purple then it would be perfect”? If you talk to yourself like Marcia and Lisa do then Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Bar Palette is the answer to the questions you’ve asked. Buxom has created a few pre-made palettes that are lovely but what we’re most excited about is that Custom Palette. We were sent two to share with you. These aren’t sold exactly like our pictures because they were created with us in mind.

This Sephora Exclusive is a total bargain too. Bought separately it would cost you $112 but when you purchase the palette and 6 single shadows of your choice it’s only $40. Add 6 of the shades you want on Sephora and you’ll automatically get the palette to put them in.

40 Buxom shadows to choose from

40 Buxom shadows to choose from

You get your choice out of 40 Eyeshadow Bar shades and you’ll have trouble deciding on only 6. These shadows have incredible pigmentation and use primer-infused technology to help keep the colors vibrant. They are silky smooth too. You can choose all matte or satin or metallic or a mix of all. Whatever your little heart desires!

If you don’t want to do the work then choose one of the the ones already put together that are in special packaging for the same $40 price. There’s Pastel Persuasion (Feather Boa (matte pastel pink), Famous Flirt (matte pastel peach), Mix & Mingle (matte vanilla), Room Service (iridescent mint), Lacy Chic (matte sky), Jetsetter (matte greige); Dolly’s Wild Side (Silk Sheets (chai luster), Champagne Buzz (shimmering pearl), Lingerie Lover (matte mauve), Mink Magnet (metallic bronze), Spoiled Sexy (matte deep mauve), Wild Nights (shimmering sugar plum); and May Contain Nudity ( Satin Seduction (bisque luster), Gimme Gorgeous (matte camel), Gold Status (metallic brass), Big Spender (matte sable), Haute Couture (metallic java), Style Icon (metallic taupe).

Enough about that… let’s get to the palettes we’ve got!!

two Buxom Custome Eyeshadow Bars

two Buxom Custom Eyeshadow Bars

LISA’S PALETTE:

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes

We were sent two palettes and lucky me Marcia let me choose. I surprised her by choosing the one with warmer shades. I fell in love with the golden 24K Stilettos and just to had to have it!

The texture of these eyeshadows is buttery goodness. They apply very smoothly and have tons of pigment. The packaging is pretty ingenious. The bar of eyeshadows is made from individual pans that can be popped in and out, so you can not only choose your shades but also rearrange them into any order.

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes

My shades include:  DIAMOND DARLING (shimmering frost), STAR TREATMENT (matte hazelnut), 24K STILETTOS (metallic gold), FILTHY RICH (matte chestnut), DESIGNER OR DIE (matte beige), and INVITE ONLY (matte terracotta).

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes DIAMOND DARLING and STAR TREATMENT

Diamond Darling is very pretty and VERY pigmented. I thought maybe I could use it on my brow but definitely not – too shimmery. It is, however, amazing as a lid shade as well as patted over a matte shade with my finger.  Star Treatment is like the perfect crease shade in my world…buttery, matte medium brown.

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes 24K STILETTOS and FILTHY RICH

Oh, can you even believe how gorgeous 24K Stilettos is??? Just a to die for golden metallic with hints of blue and green. Amazing on brown eyes! Filthy Rich is a tad red for my tastes, but wow for a matte shade this has the nicest texture and it blends like a dream.

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes

Buxom Customizable Eyeshadow Palettes DESIGNER OR DIE and INVITE ONLY

Designer or Die and Invite Only are both terrific base shades. Invite Only is another favorite of mine in this palette – I use it as a wash with a touch of Designer or Die on my brow, along with some thick black eyeliner for a quick day look.

Overall this palette is a HUGE winner – I love the packaging, the ease of mixing and matching the shades, the texture and pigmentation of the eyeshadows…YAY!!!!!

 MARCIA’S PALETTE:

Out of the two palettes sent to us I ended up with the most colorful one and I’m loving the variety in it.

Buxom Custom Palette

Buxom Custom Palette

The shades I have, in the order shown, are  PATENT LEATHER (sparkling blackberry), FAUX (iridescent snakeskin), PURE PLATINUM (silver metallic), COOL CAVIAR (shimmering gunmetal), BOLD BLING (metallic rose gold) and GOLD STATUS (metallic brass).

Buxom swatches: Patent Leather, Faux, Pure Platinum, Cool Caviar, Bold Bling, Gold Status

Buxom swatches: Patent Leather, Faux, Pure Platinum, Cool Caviar, Bold Bling, Gold Status

These shadows are incredibly pigmented and they wear all day long on me – seriously, from morning to late at night. I’ve yet to have to touch them up if I’m going out at night. Beside the wonderful shades I find that there’s basically no fall out.

With Patent Leather and Faux I pat them on, I don’t smooth them on. Especially with Faux and its iridescent brown, purple, green shade I’m careful since I don’t want to change the way this can change. I could see that some people would compare this shade to MAC Club but it’s so much prettier. This actually is a true duochrome that looks different depending on the angle of your face and the amount of light. It’s a magnificient shade. Patent Leather just doesn’t show in these pictures but it’s a beautiful purple shade once on. I’ve gotten away from purples lately but this is one I will keep wearing.

Pure Platinum is a silver that can be icy blue too. On my eyes it takes on a blue tint and when I pair it with the incredibly pigmented Cool Caviar I get a sultry eye that is party ready.

Bold Bling is described as a metallic rose gold but it’s not highly metallic and it’s got more rose than gold. I’ve worn it with other shades in the brown family and loved how it plays off a dark brown like Buxom’s Haute Couture (metallic java). I expected Gold Status to be a little too strong for me since it’s a warm brass shade but it’s not glittery so it’s totally wearable.

eye looks with Pure Platinum & Cool Caviar, Bold Bling & Gold Status

eye looks with Pure Platinum & Cool Caviar, Bold Bling & Gold Status

I loved this palette so much that I instantly created another and bought it from Sephora. I promise I’ll share it since I even did swatch pictures. I love the fact that you can make what you want and interchange them too. The shadows snap in and out with ease so I plan on switching out some of the shades in my personally made palette and adding Bold Bling & Gold Status to it for a while. Just think of all the fun I can have!

Living large with Buxom Full-On Lip Polish

Buxom Full-On Lip GlossBuxom Cosmetics believes bigger is always better…they are all about vivid colors, plumped lips, and bold looks. This Sephora-exclusive line has an amazing array of shades (100 colors of lip gloss? Sign us up!) so everyone should be able to find their perfect match, even introverts who aren’t particularly into living out loud. Buxom Cosmetics sent us three shades of their Full-On Lip Polish to review and we couldn’t wait to see how it transformed our lips.

Full-On Lip Polish ($19) is a sheer tinted gloss that is also a lip plumper. The packaging is retro-cool and every shade is named for a gorgeous gal.  Ingredients include Vitamins A and E for a softer pucker, but how wearable is this lip gloss?

Buxom Full-On Lip Gloss

Buxom Full-On Lip Gloss

Lisa’s Side:  I tested two shades, Jennifer and Trixie.  Jennifer is a “flirty fuchsia”. I love the sparkling berry shade – it has an iridescence that is really beautiful. While I’m not sure if it actually makes my lips much bigger, I do love the longevity of this gloss.

Buxom Jennifer Full-On Lip Gloss

Buxom Jennifer Full-On Lip Gloss

Trixie is a “24 karat pink” that is a bit more on the sheer side. I find there is quite a bit of peach in this pink and it has the same beautiful iridescent quality as Jennifer. By itself, it’s a pretty wash of color that perks up my lips; it is also gorgeous over warm-toned lipstick.

Buxom Trixie Full-On Lip Gloss

They both make my lips tingle in a pleasant way that is almost addictive.  I love my shades and am definitely a fan of the formula…I want to try Lisa just because it would be a lot of fun to have a lip gloss with my own name on it. Be sure to search for your name and check out the graphic girl to see if she looks like you!

Marcia’s Side:

Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in Jennifer, Dani and Trixie

Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in Jennifer, Dani and Trixie

What a beautiful trio of women we have right here. I chose Dani as the Lip Polish I want to wear. Dani is described as a berry pink. It’s the shade I’m drawn to over and over. I love that it’s so sheer and that I can apply it without looking when I realize I have no lip color on. Being a sheer lip color you aren’t going to get the depth you see in the tube. Buxom suggests pairing it up with a Full On Lipstick to get a fuller, more long lasting look.

Buxom Full On Lip Polish in Dani

Buxom Full On Lip Polish in Dani

These Lip Polishes are meant to be plumping but they aren’t the type of plump that has you in pain. It’s a subtle effect. I notice the fragrance of it (sweet with a touch of chocolate to my nose) more than I notice the plump factor. But what I really notice is the incredible shine that this has.

Buxom Lip Polish in Dani

Buxom Lip Polish in Dani

There are several finishes in these Buxom Lip Polishes – satin and diamond shades. Dani, like her pals Jennifer and Trixie, is satin but there’s a teeny tiny amount of shimmer to it too that makes lips glow even more. These tubes are substantial so you are getting a good amount of gloss for the money.

Have you tried any of these beauties yet?

How ‘buxom’ is Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara?

Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara (sephora.com)

Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara (sephora.com)

When I purchased my March PopSugar Must Have box I was excited to find actual cosmetics in it. That doesn’t happen often enough for me. It contained a Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara ($19) in black and I was excited to try it out. Now I’m ready to give you my personal pros and cons of this mascara.

Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara box

Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara box

Pros:

  1. It’s very black.
  2. It has an interesting shape to the tube and wand.
  3. It doesn’t clump.

    back of Buxom mascara box

    back of Buxom mascara box

Cons:

  1. It does absolutely nothing for my eyelashes. Nothing.
  2. I curl my lashes and apply the mascara and they are suddenly uncurled.
  3. I get no volume, no length, no definition from Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara.
  4. The formula is extremely dry.
  5. Need I say more??

Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara "S" wand

Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara “S” wand

Sephora tells me that this is a vitamin rich, lash moisturizing mascara. That’s possible. They also tell me “Consider Sculpted Lash Mascara as lash artistry at its best. The “S” shaped brush grabs and thickly coats each lash, allowing you to sculpt, shape and style for a full-on, fanned-out effect. The nutrient-rich formula coats each lash from root to tip, ensuring your volume and shape lasts all day with no clumping or flaking.” To which I say – well I guess your mileage may vary. It does absolutely none of those things for me. While I don’t seem to get clumping I do get a little smudging from it by the end of the day. I think that’s because my lashes aren’t curled so they land on my undereye area more than they should.

In order to test this out before telling you that I don’t like this mascara I tried 3 different eyelash curlers (Shiseido, Tweezerman and Le Metier) and I tried it without curling my eyelashes. I also tried it by applying it over other mascaras to see if maybe it would give me some more oomph. All it did was straighten my lashes. I also let it “age” which sometimes helps with a mascara that I’m not crazy about but it just seemed to dry out more and not improve with age.

Since mascara is such a personal thing and what works for one doesn’t work for all it can be a challenge to recommend a mascara. Many customers on Sephora raved about Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara but others felt as I do. I wanted to like this mascara and was excited to have it in my PopSugar box but it turned out to be a dud for me. If you’ve tried this Buxom mascara or others please let me know your experience with it. I hate to write off a whole brand for what may be an anomaly. — Marcia

PopSugar Must Have box for March – spring has arrived

PopSugar Must Have for March 2013

PopSugar Must Have for March 2013

It’s reveal time for PopSugar’s March Must Have box. The surprise is that I received it on March 9th which is way early for them. Each month PopSugar has a theme and this month the theme is SPRING. I can certainly use some spring in my life! According to PopSugar they are “sharing one of the hottest trends of the season, A Hollywood fashion savior, a new way to make your lashes pop, and the best way to wash some of your most beloved articles of clothing. We’re also featuring a nostalgic Spring treat and making sure your next wine party has some festive flair.”

The categories for this month are home, food, beauty and fashion.

The Laundress Speciality Soap is the most obvious product in this box. It’s quite large at 16 fl. oz. The product in my box is their Delicate Wash in the scent Lady.

The Laundress Delicate Wash

The Laundress Delicate Wash

It can be used for both hand washing and machine washing and is formulated to help save you money on dry cleaning bills. Different boxes might have received their Denim Wash or their Wool & Cashmere shampoo. This sells for $19 and is full size. It appears to be a great product though it is fragranced with amber, citrus and herbal notes. I think I’ll wash a sweater of my husband’s first to see how I tolerate the scent.

Heather Belle Signature Tassel Necklace comes in a black and gray striped gift box which makes it nice if it’s not your style. The golden necklace is about 35″ long and the tassel adds another 4 inches. It comes down almost to my waist. While I don’t see this on their website I’d estimate it to cost about $80 when compared to the prices of the other items they carry. I’m getting quite a collection of costume jewelry lately!

Heather Belle tassle necklace

The cutest item in the box is the Corkatoo Corkscrew. It comes in its own plastic case and is a colorful double hinged opener. This particular corkscrew is not on the True Fabrications website although they have some nice ones there, just not as cute as the Corkatoo. I’m estimating this at $12 though it’s really just a guess. I think this would make a great gift if invited over for dinner or a party.

Cockatoo Corkscrew

Cockatoo Corkscrew

Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara is the beauty item I first noticed. I’ve yet to try a Bare Escentuals mascara so I’m looking forward to using this. I’m on the last week or so of my current mascara so the timing is great.

Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara (sephora.com)

Buxom Sculpted Lash Mascara (sephora.com)

It has an “S” shaped brush (their picture is clearer than mine) and is $19.00 at Sephora. I hope this works out for me and I can do a full review of it.

Another beauty product is in the box and I’m excited about this one. It’s a two pack of The New Black Nail Polish. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve had packages of The New Black in my hand to buy or in a beauty.com or sephora.com cart but never pushed the trigger. My particular set is called Pardon My French and the colors are great looking metallics. These are mini polishes and a two piece set (not this one) is $10. They are the company that I first noticed having sets for ombre nails. Pardon My French contains a silvery light denim and a light metallic green). On my nail wheel they applied like a dream and I can’t wait to wear these. They don’t normally sell sets of two unless you want one of the Glimmer Twin sets. A set of 5 sells for $22, a set of 3 for $14. The light blue in my set appears to be similar to one of the shades in Horizon which I’ve had my eye on for a while and the green as one in the Waves set.pops march polish2

For fashion they have two items; one is considered an extra. Hollywood Fashion Secrets Sweater Saver is a tool to remove pills from clothing. While it’s nice, if you’ve ever tried a Lilly brush, this doesn’t compare (review coming soon). This sells for $5.99 and is becoming easier to find lately. The other product from Hollywood Fashion Secrets is their Fashion Tape and this is a small assortment pack. This can be a lifesaver and it’s small enough to stick in a makeup bag. There are 4 pieces in the package. I’ve tried a lot of products from Hollywood Fashion Secrets and have been impressed with them all.

And a PopSugar MustHave box wouldn’t be complete without food. Now they didn’t get fancy this month. Instead they became nostalgic with PEEPS. 5 cute yellow chickies all ready to eat. This approximately $1 treat is best slightly stale in my opinion!!

Peeps!!!

Peeps!!!

As I’ve stated before the PopSugar Must Have boxes cost $35 a month which includes shipping but not tax. This particular box is worth about $149 in my estimation. With just the Buxom mascara, nail polish and Peeps I have basically what I paid but I also have a high end bottle of fabric shampoo, a nice looking trendy necklace, a sweater saver and the cutest corkscrew. All in all I’m happy with this and will continue this subscription. It’s fun!!

To subscribe I’d really appreciate it if you used my link (which is my referral code of http://popsu.gr/yqR ) which would help me get a free subscription. You can also use the code REFERFRIENDS5 to get $5 off your own subscription. If you haven’t read my other reviews on PopSugar Must Have you might enjoy them and see what treasures they come up with month after month. — Marcia
