Zoella Splash Botanics So Soft Lip Oil

Zoella Splash Botanics So Soft Lip Oil wand

I have nothing but raves for the So Soft Lip Oil! This has a wonderful applicator that smooths on the most fantastically hydrating lip oil ever. The oil is a combination of sweet almond, jojoba and argan oils, and it smells lightly of delicious cherry  It’s the best summer lip quencher ever and the packaging is to die for. Perfection.

Zoella Splash Lagoon Love

The Lagoon Love Bath Milk is a bath lovers dream, especially for traveling. I find lots of bath powders are drying and itchy, but this is highly moisturizing. It’s made with coconut water and lychee and it makes for a positively decadent bath. The bubbles are big and foamy and it smells divine. Grab a few of these for your travels this summer.

Zoella Splash Botanics Botanic’Eau Body Mist

Zoella Splash Botanics Botanic’Eau Body Mist

The Botanic’Eau Body Mist is a truly lovely body mist that is amazing for the season. It’s light and fresh and green, slightly floral with notes of freesia and iris. The bottle is fantastic – I love the lush greenery, and the back of the bottle is even more gorgeous than the front of the bottle!

This collection has impressed the heck out of me. I am planning a trip to Ulta to pick up the rest of the collection – Make a Splash Moisturizing Body Wash ($8.95), Quench Me Body Sorbet ($12.00), Drench Me Bubble Bath Soak ($12.00), and Beautiful Bag Cosmetics Bag (14.00). I hope you do too!  – Lisa

A trip to the tropics with Phytocéane COSTA RICA Moisturizing Body Water

Phytocéane COSTA RICA Moisturizing Body Water

A few years ago I traveled to Costa Rica, and I still think about those incredible beaches and lush tropical forests.  Phytocéane recently came out with an amazing hydrating body water spray that takes me right back to that fantastic yoga retreat I visited in Costa Rica thanks to the beautiful scent, and it also gives me soft, moisturized skin.

Phytocéane COSTA RICA Moisturizing Body Water

COSTA RICA Moisturizing Body Water ($48) is a body spray with a gorgeous tropical fragrance that is a combination of peach, apple, melon and pineapple blended with jasmine, cedar and musk. A few sprays of this and WOW – I am instantly transported to Costa Rica!  The scent is beachy yet elegant, and it’s soft and not overpowering.  Absolutely perfect for summer.

Phytocéane COSTA RICA Moisturizing Body Water

COSTA RICA Moisturizing Body Water is also great for hydrating dry skin.  The main ingredient is jania, which is a sustainably-cultivated red vegetal coral that provides skin with intense hydration.  It leaves my skin feels wonderfully soft and fresh, something I really appreciate since it gets very dry and itchy during long hot days.

Phytocéane COSTA RICA Moisturizing Body Water

The combination of beautiful tropical scent and soothing hydration for skin makes the Phytocéane COSTA RICA Moisturizing Body Water a real winner and one of my favorite products this summer.  You can find this as well as all the other fantastic Phytoceane products at lespausa.com.  – Lisa

Is it love or just a crush? Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist

Photo of Rio de Janeiro beach from Travel Channel

If I can’t be at the beach on these lazy summer days, I at least want to smell like I am there – and what better beach than the gorgeous sandy paradise of Rio de Janeiro? I jumped at the chance to try Sol de Janeiro’s Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist ($32 – 8.1 fl oz; SephoraSephora.com) in the hopes that I could instantly be transported with a simple spritz. You might recognize this line as Sephora’s “Rookie of the Year” for skin care last year thanks to their Brazilian Bum Bum Cream. People went crazy for the scent, so Sol de Janeiro turned it into a body mist fragrance.

Brazilians believe in “cheirosa,” something I am also pretty obsessive about – it means to smell amazing and delicious all day long. I went to a party recently and a group of people were trying to figure out who smelled so incredible…and they finally realized it was me! Highest compliment ever in my book. Brazilian Crush is a fragrance that you can use head to toe, from your hair to your skin to your clothes, and it keeps you smelling fantastic all day long.

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush

Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist is mostly a mix of pistachio and salted caramel. Fragrance notes include:

  • Top: pistachio, almond
  • Mid: heliotrope, jasmine petals
  • Dry: vanilla, salted caramel, sandalwood

    Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush

It smells surprisingly spicy and not foody at all. This is an addictive scent with a definite wild side – I can totally picture women wearing this and string bikini. Whether or not you are into wearing string bikinis this year, if you like beachy, tropical scents with a bit of spice you are going to find that the Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Crush Body Fragrance Mist is more of a long time love and not just a crush. Check it out at  Sephora.  – Lisa

Yummy! be Delectable from Cake Beauty

Next time you walk into Kohl’s, go ahead and look for something sinfully sweet.  You will find it in the body product section at the be Delectable from Cake Beauty display.  This line might not take away the rumbling in your tummy, but it will leave your skin feeling and smelling delicious.

Delectable Cake Beauty

be Delectable from Cake Beauty

be Delectable has five different body products that are available in four different scents.  They sent two of their body products for me to test: the Coconut & Cream Decadent Hair and Body Mist ($10) and the Strawberry and Cream Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream ($12).  I am a ‘foody’ scent person, and I love body products, so it sounded almost as good as coconut ice cream covered in strawberries.

Coconut & Cream Body Spray

Coconut & Cream Body Mist

I use a body mist every day and I have very particular preferences.  I like a body mist that isn’t too wet because I don’t like standing around without my clothes on…I just don’t have the time to fend off all the handsome men.  Actually, I am always running late, so waiting for fragrance to dry is annoying. The Decadent Hair and Body Mist is on the wet side, but if I hold the bottle far away it results in a finer, faster drying spray.  The Coconut & Cream scent is aptly named as it’s a creamy coconut fragrance without a lot of complexity.  This is a great hair and body mist for those who don’t want a super strong scent.  My teenage daughter absolutely loves it, and the price is definitely right.

The Strawberry and Cream Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream is a thick and super moisturizing lotion that really softens hands.  Ingredients include mango butter, shea butter and aloe vera so it tackles rough skin and cuticles with ease.

Strawberry & Cream Hand Cream

The fragrance in this is again pretty straightforward – it smells like sweetened strawberries.  The scent intensity is a little stronger in the hand cream and it lingers for a long time.  A little bit of this hand cream goes a long way, so the price is excellent and the tube lasts a very long time.

Other scents available from be Delectable include Lemon & Cream and Vanilla & Cream.  Next time you are at Kohl’s be sure to check out this sweet-smelling line, or do a little online shopping at http://be-delectable.com.  – Lisa
