Who would you rather take a bath with? Ryan Reynolds or Kneipp?

I’m sure I know the answer to the question I asked but only Blake Lively is the one who can can correctly answer this. The rest of us have to settle for the love of our lives (significant other or pet) and Kneipp to have a wonderful shower or bath. We haven’t lost though since Kneipp has some incredible vegan products to bring joy to our bathing life.

Having both a Bath Oil and a Body Wash from Kneipp has brought some luscious products to make my bathing experiences more interesting.

Kneipp Bath Oil and Body Wash

If you’ve been following Beauty Info Zone you’ve probably noticed that I (meaning Marcia) don’t use many products that are fragranced but there are exceptions to that rule and Kneipp has proven why with the Bath Oil in Lemon Balm and their Body Wash in Almond Blossom. Those are fragrances that I can happily use and enjoy.

Kneipp Bath Oil in Lemon Balm

Kneipp’s Bath Oil in Lemon Balm is a 15-20 minute relaxing treat. Get your bath water to the temperature you like, fill the cap up to the line, then pour it into the warm running water. Take your bath and dream of Ryan Reynolds/Ryan Gosling or a lemon meringue pie and come out of the bathtub feeling like a million bucks. Your skin will be clean and soft as can be. I don’t find that my skin is oily after using it, I just find it feels silky and hydrated. The lemon flavor made from natural essential oils of citronella and lemon balm extract lingers lightly on skin but isn’t strong.

Kneipp has created their herbal bath oils in a variety of scents. Lemon Balm is noted for being a “pure relaxation” scent. Each bath oil is $20 and gives you 10 baths if used at the level they recommend. Some of the many scents are Eucalyptus (recommended when you feel a cold or flu coming on since it helps relieve congestion), Juniper (muscle soothing), Arnica (joints and muscles), Lavender (relaxing), and Almond Blossom (soft skin). On their website they have mini versions for $4 or a great deal of 6 minis for $10 (sale price) which is a wonderful way to try them out to find your favorite. And you will find a favorite!

As much as I enjoy the Bath Oil I really don’t take many baths but I do take showers all the time and even have a newly renovated shower that’s spacious and comfortable. So taking the Kneipp Body Wash in Almond Blossom into that shower was an absolute pleasure.

Kneipp Body Wash in Almond Blossom

The Almond Blossom Body Wash is a soap-free product with nourishing oils that help prevent skin from drying out. It’s clear and slightly runny. A little goes a long way when I use a shower poof. The pH balanced wash contains sweet almond and jojoba oils as well as Vitamin E to keep your skin shiny and smooth. It’s a gentle wash and leaves my skin feeling so soft, just as it should be. I don’t find it to be overly almond smelling (though I wouldn’t mind if it was) but rather a slightly floral version of the almond blossom. I don’t think this would interfere with any body lotion you’d use although it might be really nice to pair it with Kneipp Almond Blossom Body Lotion.

Kneipp is known for being a vegan company that uses plant-based functional ingredients. There aren’t preservatives in their products nor do they use paraffin, silicone or minerals oils. They never animal test which makes it a company that you can be proud to use. Who takes a bath or shower with you? Since Ryan Reynolds isn’t going to be your answer then make it Kneipp!  —  Marcia

Keep that beach body with Phytomer Morpho Designer and Phytoceane Bora Bora Sensory Bath

Phytomer and Phytoceane

Phytomer Morpho Designer and Phytoceane Bora-Bora Sensory Bath

Beach bumming days may be winding down but that’s no excuse to lose that beach bum experience…or your beach body!

Travel to Bora Bora with this Phytoceane Bath Oil

Travel to Bora Bora with this Phytoceane Bora Bora Sensory Bath

Phytocéane recently sent me both a message AND a bottle with their luxurious BORA-BORA SENSORY BATH ($33). If you are a bath person be sure to check out this bath oil because it is to die for. It’s a hypnotically vivid blue and the fragrance…WOW. The delicious combination of almond and vanilla waft around you like a warm Bora-Bora breeze. The oil creates a soft, milky foam in the bath that is wonderfully moisturizing. Ingredients include trace minerals and elements from seawater concentrate that rejuvenate skin while melting away muscle knots and tension. I may not be at the beach, but I end up feeling as relaxed and happy as I do seaside.

BORA-BORA SENSORY BATH is available for purchase at select spas in the United States and at www.lespausa.com.

Phytomer Morpho

Phytomer Morpho

Since I am dreaming I’m on the beach with my Bora Bora Sensory Bath, I always follow it with the Phytomer MORPHO DESIGNER Contouring Crystal Emulsion ($110) because when it comes to a beach body I need all the help I can get! Morpho Designer is part of the contouring collection and, let me tell you, this body lotion makes an immediate difference. The lotion sinks right in without heaviness or greasiness. It leaves my skin super soft and smooth…even in areas that are a little, ahem, bumpy.

How does it do this?  Formulated with exclusive ingredient ADIPO-3, it launches a three-pronged attack on fat cells to weaken the structure of existing fat, prevent the natural production of new fat and strengthen and redensify the skin’s support tissues. A duo of marine algaes activates micro-circulation and draining for a firm and energized body, free from excess fat. It has liquid crystals that sort of melt into the skin, not only breaking up existing fat but also preventing new fat from forming. The effectiveness is not just in my mind – take a look at the results Phytomer reports:

Perfecting Effect in 28 days: REFINED silhouette – centimeter loss Volume of the thighs: -20%* Volume of the silhouette: -11%* *Average percentage of variation in the volume of the silhouette of 22 women using BodyScan®

While Morpho Designer doesn’t take the place of good nutrition and exercise, it definitely helps out my beach body cause while leaving my skin lightly scented with the pretty lily of the valley fragrance. Used daily and consistently it really works.

Key Ingredients: • ADIPO-3 – derived from the aromatic resin of the Pistacia Lentiscus tree, this highly active oil captures the adipocyte in all its forms. • ADIPO-DIET – weakens the structure of fat, facilitating the process of lypolysis. • ADIPO-BLOCKING – blocks the expression of nine enzymes involved in fatty acid synthesis. • ADIPO-STRENGTHENING – reactivates the synthesis of collagen and fibrillin. • Halopteris scoparia – brown algae with firming and reshaping properties. • Palmaria palmata – red algae that promotes microcirculation for a draining effect.

Love the glass soda bottle!

Paraben and sulfate free, this bath/body oil moisturizes skin and helps it retain that moisture with feel-good ingredients like grapeseed, olive, orange peel, jojoba, sunflower seed and apricot kernel oils.

Not only is it a wonderful bath oil, but it can also be used to soak your feet before a pedicure, or as a hot oil scalp treatment. Or use it my favorite way – straight up as a body oil. I just can’t tell you how fantastic it smells on your skin. Unbelievable.

If you love the smell of magnolias, you will adore the Farmhouse Fresh Honey-Magnolia Sparkling Bath Soak. It definitely gets an A+ from me.  – Lisa
