I’ve been saving these masks and review for another Beauty Info Zone Anniversary Giveaway. 7th Heaven is one of my favorite brands for an inexpensive facial mask pick-me-up. Most of their masks are $1.99 and are one time uses. That makes them perfect for travel and for testing out to see which ones are best for you. 7th Heaven makes dozens of masks so there’s surely one or more to suit your needs.
We were sent 5 types of 7th Heaven Masks this time and two readers will win all 5. Green Tea Peel Off, Charcoal Pore Strips, Red Hot Earth Sauna Masque, Hot Spring Sauna Masque and Strawberry Souffle.
GREEN TEA PEEL-OFF
Using the Green Tea Peel Off Mask is a lot like being a kid again! After your detoxifying treatment you get the delight of peeling this off like we used to do with rubber cement (do people still use rubber cement??). This is a weekly mask that is for all skin types. Ingredients are all natural and are great for exfoliating skin to remove dirt, oil, and dead skin cells. This contains Pressed Green Tea with natural anti-oxidants, ginger root to boost your skin’s radiance and lemon to refresh, tone and rejuvenate. The fragrance of it is quite refreshing. After wearing this for 15-20 minutes the fun begins and you get to peel it off. (Note: 7th Heaven is a division of Montagne Jeunesse, names and packaging are slowly being updated.)
CHARCOAL PORE STRIPS
I have a confession to make about the Charcoal Nose Pore Strips! My pictures shows me wearing it backwards since that’s what I did the first time. I was so excited to use this since I love this type of strip that I put it on wrong. When it didn’t quite work correctly I redid it but forgot to take pictures of wearing it correctly. Oops.
These are sold at Claire’s stores for $2.50. The package contains 3 Pore Strips. Since our noses seem to be magnets for oil and show blackheads easily this is a fast and easy way to cleanse them. Make sure your cleansed nose is very wet, apply them with the charcoal layer DOWN, and press onto your nose firmly. The charcoal absorbs that excess oil while loosening any problems. Peel it off and you’ve remove dead cells along with the debris. They contain volcanic ash and natural hardwood charcoal. In 10 – 15 minutes you’ve got a nose that is clear and ready for your skincare.
This is a fun and unusual masque since it heats up to activate the ingredients. The ingredients in the Hot Springs Sauna Masque are what makes it unusual: Volcanic Spring Minerals, chopped Ginger and pulped Pumpkin. It also contains Bamboo to help exfoliate and remove your dead cells. By warming up once on your skin it opens your pores for a deeper cleanse. ($1.99 at Ulta and Walmart)
RED HOT EARTH SAUNA MASQUE
A red masque adds a bit of spice to your life and this Red Hot Earth Sauna Masque is red at its finest. This mask is similar in some ways to the Hot Spring Sauna Masque since they both have self heating therapy. This one is meant for normal to dry skin and is a great destressing mask. The once a week mask has rich red clay, pressed jasmine and the juice of grapefruit and lime (anti-oxidants). It leaves your skin more moisturized than Hot Spring Sauna does. It doesn’t dry on my skin so in the 15 minutes that it’s on, I can talk if I want. I may look red but I’m not seeing red when I’m done.
STRAWBERRY SOUFFLE MASK
Yummy hydration that you won’t want to remove. The Strawberry Souffle Mask smells so delicious with its mix of natural ingredients and is the only one of this group that is recommended for twice a week. This $2.50 mask (sold at Claire’s stores) is a treat for my skin. This is recommended for drier skin so it fits me perfectly. Some of the ingredients are bentonite natural clay, aloe vera, pulped strawberries, and vanilla. Your skin will feel smoother and more refreshed after using this for about 15 minutes. This light pink mask will keep your skin looking in the pink. — Marcia
