This summer, Kiehl’s Since 1851 has introduced 3 NEW sun-protection formulas that address the whole body. From eyebrows to toenails, these three products equal full sun protection so you can play without worry until the sun sets.
Kiehl’s sent me these three new products to test: Super Fluid UV Defense Sunscreen ($38-$61), Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector ($38), and Activated Sun Protector ($29).
Kiehl’s Super Fluid UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 50+ has been around for a few years, but this is a new and improved version that is even more silky and non-greasy. This lightweight sunscreen is great for the face since it leaves a matte finish. What a wonderful option for under makeup! The formula is very silky and it’s a pleasure to put on – just be sure to shake it up well before applying.
So this is like a dream come true – sun protection for around the eye area that also brightens and covers dark circles. Clearly Corrective™ Dark Circle Perfector with SPF 30 has UVA/UVB protection, and the slight tint makes it a light concealer that is perfect for the beach or the pool. Ingredients include Vitamin C to reduce the appearance of under-eye circles, as well as caffeine to reduce puffiness. This just came out in June but is readily available online and in stores now.
This next product’s name is a mouthful! Activated Sun ProtectorTM Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Water-Light Lotion for Face and Body is exactly what your face and body need for really active days. It has broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection, and the texture is like nothing I’ve ever tried before. It’s kind of watery and thin, but skin truly feels like silk after application. In addition to the sun protection, this really cool sunscreen has Vitamin E to help condition skin.
All of these sun protection options – plus tons and tons of other great items! – are available online at kiehls.com. If you get a chance, stop by the counter at high-end department stores. Kiehl’s is the best for samples and this line has great depth. I always discover something new when I visit! – Lisa
