As an educator my year has always begun in September. You may think it starts on January 1st but for anyone involved with schools the new year starts the day after Labor Day. The reason I’m bringing this up is that I’ve made some “New Year Resolutions”. One of them has been to replace my Diet Coke addiction. I am pretty good about drinking water as long as it’s really cold but I like to add a little more to my water intake and that’s where STUR comes in. I was excited when I was offered the opportunity to try these out since I wasn’t doing as well as I should have been on my own.
STUR is a vegan water enhancer. It’s healthier than other products that you can use to enhance your drink because it’s sweetened with Stevia. According to STUR the natural fruit flavors are derived from real fruit, similar to extracts you find in fruit cordials. Just squeeze in water for a flavored drink.
There are no calories to STUR, there’s no artificial flavors or sweeteners. Personally I don’t drink calories since I want to save every single one for food so a no calorie drink is all I’ll drink. The sweetener is Stevia which is plant based; only a touch of Stevia is needed to sweeten this since it’s naturally 300 times sweeter than sugar.
STUR comes in 6 flavors. I have 3 favorites but my husband just has 2. It comes in Orange Mango, PomeCranberry, Natural Lemonade, Wild Strawberry, Lemon Tea and Cucumber Mint. My favorites are Wild Strawberry, PomeCranberry and Natural Lemonade while my DH’s are Orange Mango and Lemon Tea. The Cucumber Mint isn’t one we’ve taken to yet.
It’s so easy to use Stur – you shake and pour and then stir.
Stur is an acronym for Savor The Ultimate Reason. The owner wanted a drink that helped people with diabetes, was more natural than the current low calorie products on the market and helped make people more eager to drink water. His unique formula and bottle have caught my eye, have they caught yours? Stay tuned for more “new year’s resolutions.” — Marcia
