My summer skin savior: CV Skinlabs Rescue and Relief Spray

Well, this review is a RAVE in all capital letters!  If you buy only one thing this summer, it should be this.  I honestly don’t know how I would have survived this summer without my CV Skinlabs Rescue and Relief Spray ($34).   My family has had sunburns, bug bites, hives, rashes, you name it – and we lived through it all without major discomfort thanks to Rescue and Relief.

Rescue and Relief Spray comes in a huge brown bottle with a trigger spray.  The spray is a sort of creamy, milky liquid that instantly soothes and comforts.  It has a faint cucumber scent, very refreshing. The bottle is large enough that it makes hard to reach places like your back easy to treat.  Be sure to shake it before using as the ingredients are natural and do separate a bit.  I also like to keep my bottle in the refrigerator for an extra cooling sensation.

So what’s inside that makes it so darn good?  A combination of turmeric, alpha-bisabolol and reishi mushroom called the Tri-Rescue Skin Complex. This complex helps to heal wounds, plus it reduces inflammation and repairs the skin.  It is just so darn refreshing, too – boy when your skin is burning this is the best thing ever.

I accidentally used a dull razor and my skin was very irritated, so I used my Rescue and Relief.  My husband got a terrible sunburn while deep-sea fishing, and this soothed it completely for him.  My mom got a terrible bug bite that swelled into a huge itchy lump, and the only relief she could get was from this fantastic spray.  My daughter burned herself while making a pie, and the Rescue and Relief cooled and soothed it immediately.  My son had an allergic reaction and got hives, and found major relief with this spray.  It works for eczema, irritation from waxing, and even for  after laser beauty treatments.  It’s immediate relief from burning, itching, and irritation.  It calms and soothes and comforts like you wouldn’t believe.

You can also use this is a toner, and sometimes I spray this on my face just to refresh my makeup a little bit.  I don’t know how we would have gotten through the past two months without this bottle of awesomeness.   I can’t recommend it highly enough, you really need to get this!!  – Lisa

  1. Is this just online or do stores carry it too? My husband gets welts from bug bites so he could probably benefit from this.

Hi Ellen, as far as I know it’s only available via their online site, . Has anyone else seen it in stores?
