Eco-Armour comes to the rescue this summer with wonderful products and a giveaway

Beauty Info Zone always gets excited when we learn about a new brand and it’s even more exciting when the brand is so new that it only has been available to everyone since late April 2012. The brand we want you to learn more about with us is Eco-Armour Shave With Benefits. Shave With Benefits is just like your friend with benefits – you get extras! This is a company that has created a luxurious botanical based shaving foam. So not only do you get to use the best shaving product around but you also get aromatherapy while doing so. Eco-Armour is a brand that makes products for men and women to both use and share so even your significant other gets benefits with your purchase (ladies, it’s a great excuse to buy!!). In addition to Shave with Benefits they have also created a terrific mosquito repellant called Outdoor. Read what Marcia and Lisa have experienced with these and stay tuned for a giveaway!!  All eco-armour products are natural liquid-based, non-aerosol foams guaranteed to work when used as directed.

Marcia’s Side:

If I asked you to make a list of your least favorite beauty jobs I’m betting that shaving your legs is towards the top of that list. For me blow drying my thick hair is number one but number two is shaving my legs. I’m always worried that I’m going to nick myself plus I hate the extra time it takes in the shower. But with SHAVE WITH BENEFITS in my shower that job loses place two on the list and ends up much further down. I actually don’t mind shaving quite as much when I can use a product I enjoy. Shave With Benefits is a terrific shaving foam that is botanical based. It comes in three scents: Bergamot + Pink Grapefruit (my favorite), Mint + Eucalyptus, and Pomegranate + Mango. ($24 dollars each or $60 for the trio, each 5 oz.) Bergamot + Pink Grapefruit is a light citrus and is highly recommended for sensitive skin. Mint + Eucalyptus is refreshing and almost tingly so it’s like a spa experience. Pomegranate + Mango has an exotic fragrance. All of these contain witch hazel as the natural base for this foam  as well as containing high quality aloe vera, essential oils, vegetable glycerin and citric acid.

Shaving has become much easier and much more pleasant since I not only get a close shave but this gentle foam creates a barrier on my skin that prevents me from getting small nicks. It’s very moisturizing and this summer I haven’t even felt the need to follow up with a body lotion most days.

More benefits: You only have to shake the jar a little to create the rich foam, you can tell right away when it’s time to stop shaking which is just a little benefit but one I appreciate. Another benefit is that I learned that after shaving and rinsing my razor, it’s good to leave a line of the foam on the blade; it helps extend the life of the razor head! And one more benefit is that I can use this not only for shaving but as a facial and body cleanser. No wonder the creator called it “with benefits”.

Lisa’s Side:

I tried Shave with Benefits in Pomegranate + Mango, which smells truly wonderful.  It’s a super fresh, invigorating scent that is unisex – my hubby loves it too.  It does a terrific job of leaving my skin super smooth after shaving, and what I really love is that it’s natural liquid-based and non-aerosol.

I also tried a totally different kind of product called  Outdoor Botanical Insect Repellent and Moisturizer.  Now, typically these types of products smell pretty awful – which is what I always thought was what kept the insects away!  But apparently not, because this smells really nice, like lemons.

Eco Armor Outdoor Insect Repellent

This is a spray that goes on wet.  First you shake, spray, then rub it in.  It really does leave your skin super moisturized, and it repels biting and disease-carrying insects like mosquitos and black flies.  It’s also 100% botanical!  That means no DEET inside.  It’s also great for relieving pain from sunburn and skin irritations.

I go hiking all the time, and after the nasty smelling insect repellents I have endured, this was a totally refreshing change.

Now for our GIVEAWAY. Eco-Armour has generously donated all 4 of the products reviewed. The winner will receive the 2 oz sizes of Shave With Benefits in all 3 fragrances as well as Outdoor Insect Repellent (also 2 oz). You must subscribe to Beauty Info Zone and live in the US to enter.
