I always tell you that hyaluronic acid are magic words. These are words I look for when choosing what to use for my skincare so imagine my delight when PCA Skin sent their Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum. That’s like bottling up the magic and delivering it directly to your skin.

Skincare products I’m currently using including PCA Skin Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum

What makes this magic? Hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate attract and hold 1,000 times their weight in water on the surface of the skin for instant smoothing and hydration. Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid penetrates deeper into the skin, attracting and holding moisture that’s already in the skin, and plumps fine lines from below the skin surface. Now tell me this isn’t magic. Especially as your skin ages and you start losing that bloom of youth.

PCA Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum gives my skin that extra plumpness underneath it all. I don’t need extra plump on my body but I want my face looking full and more youthful. The blend of ingredients in this serum increases your own body’s hyaluronic acid production.

What you’ll see when using this is a smoothing effect on your face. Before I apply any foundation is when I really notice it and it amazes me at times. This is a thicker serum than most I use so I mainly use it at night even though it’s meant for both day and night use. I prefer it at night so that it has time to work and settle in. My face is smoother in the morning and I swear I see less fine lines.

There are so many fine ingredients in this that make this a wonder for your skin.

Ceramides repair damage to your skin to support hydration retention.

HA-Pro Complex is a propriety blend that stimulates the production of the skin’s own hyaluronic acid and delivers 24-hour hydration. Even though Allure magazine has banned the words “anti-aging” our skin doesn’t know that and our skin wants these anti-aging ingredients.

Niacinamide strengthens your skin’s natural barrier to help prevent future damage.

And of course Hydrolized Hyaluronic Acid plumps fine lines from below the skin’s surface.

PCA Skin Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum

PCA Hyaluronic Acid Boosting Serum is recommended for all skin types even oily and acne prone. There’s a fragrance that I notice when I first apply it but it dissipates instantly, it reminds me a bit of an autumn night with a bonfire burning in the distance. But that’s just an initial fragrance that is gone before you know it. There’s no denying that this is a splurge when it comes to skincare but it’s your skin and taking care of it now means you can avoid more expensive treatments later.  —  Marcia

I have never heard of this company but the serum sounds wonderful… I am a big fan of Hyaluronic Acid I think it makes my skin stay hydrated longer

  2. Tamanna | 30th Aug 17

The ingredient nicinamide there surely caught my eyes. I was thinking to incorporate it in my skincare. The brand is totally new to me but sounds promising.

    Much Love… GreenStory

I’ve never heard of this company but it sounds like a really beneficial product. As a person with dry skin I may have to check this Rosicrucian out.

  4. Andrea | 30th Aug 17

Definitely something I need to try!! Thanks for the tip!

Never heard of this before. I have to admit that the name Hyaluronic Acid sounds very similar to Hydrochloric Acid so that made me initially resistant to try it. Your review is positive so that helps change my mind to sample it.

I don’t think I need extra plump as I’m still young but I can see others getting the benefits.

This sounds like a nice product! I think I’d prefer to use it at night as well, especially if it is as thick as you say it is.

I am not really familiar with the company, but this is not the first time I have heard of this serum. It sounds pretty good but you are not kidding about this being a splurge. I do not think I can afford to buy it.
