Pixi Beauty

Pixi Beauty always has some products that I fall in love with. The line is so varied and priced so well that you can’t help but be tempted with some of Petra’s Pixi picks. This month Pixi Beauty sent a box that I’ve been enjoying and that I think you will too.

Pixi Beauty ROSY Sheer Cheek Gel

Pixi Beauty ROSY Sheer Cheek Gel

Everyone has favorite types of products and one of mine is a non-powder blush. I love stains, cream blushes and liquid blushes. I find that, for the most part, they are more flattering on my older skin. I’ve always wanted to try Pixi’s Cheek Stain so you better believe I was thrilled to see it in my package. It can be used on both lips and cheeks since it is a stain. I use just a dab with my fingertip. If I want to add more I’ll apply it with a brush so I can buff it in. ROSY is a berry red that makes me look healthy. The Sheer Cheek Gel ($18) also comes in 3 others shades: NATURAL (soft warm pink), SUNKISSED (medium bronze), and FLUSHED (fresh red). I am unabashedly in love with Rosy!

Look at this gorgeous ROSY RED in the Pixi Beauty Tinted Brilliance Balm. First it’s the perfect lip shade for Rosy Cheek Stain, second it’s a sheer red lip crayon that is unbelievably flattering. Even someone with small lips can wear this moisturizing lip balm. If Rosy Red isn’t the right shade for you then pick from 11 shades. I’ve got several of these lip crayons and they’ve become a favorite.

More red for the season – a beautiful nail colour called God Jul! This is a wonderful classic festive red creme ($8) and like all of Pixi Beauty Nail Colours it wears wonderfully on me for a good 6 days.

Pixi Beauty Endless Silky Eye Pencil in Glimmery Black

Pixi Beauty Endless Silky Eye Pencil in Glimmery Black

Pixi is known for their Endless Silky Eye Pencils and for good reason. They are some of the best you’ll find. At $12 you can have your fill of these ultra smooth, easy to apply liners. Glimmery Black is great on, especially for a night out. While it has some glimmer to it, you won’t find it all over your face. This is a long lasting pencil and I find that once it sets I don’t have traveling glitter. Glimmery Black is their newest shade and it’s described as “Deep black infused with silver micro-glimmer”. This will last you through a long night of partying or even cuddling.

  1. The Lip and eye pencils are calling my name! Believe it or not, I have yet to try anything from Pixi Beauty!

  2. You are overdue on Pixi Lola. You would really love the pencils – especially the eyeliners.

  3. What a great holiday collection! Those reds are incredible. I too prefer non-powder blush and I’m using Stila & theBalm creams and Eliz Mott cheek/lip liquid stain. When the EM stain is gone, I’ll try the Pixi!

  4. When JK Jemma Kidd, NP Set, and Pixi debuted at Target, I said that Pt beguiling among the 3 brands: consequently, I’m not surprised that Pixi is still going strong, while the other two brands are gone.

That said, I like Pixi’s toner the best.

  5. Natalie Brown says

Happy New Year! I haven’t tried very many Pixi products. I’ll have to take a closer look the next time I’m at Target. Although, I have been thinking about trying non-powdered blushes since my skin is aging. Good tip!

  6. Hi Natalie, Pixi is a great brand though some Target stores aren’t well stocked. The stain gel is one of my (many) favorites from Pixi Beauty.
