I considered including this beautiful PACIFICA trio in my Makeup Wars article but it just doesn’t feel very springy to me. I wore these polishes during those in between months when I never knew what Mother Nature would bring me and they were perfect for that. Now they’ll be send down to toe land instead of hand land.
PACIFICA is known more for their 100% vegan and cruelty free products than they are for their nail polish but they have a large selection of polish. Ulta carries 25 shades of their long lasting polishes ($9 each). Pacifica 7 Free is formulated without parabens, phthalates (dibutyl phthalate), toluene, xylene, camphor, formaldehyde, resin, and animals.
This set ($20 at Ulta stores) contains 3 polishes that you can buy separately: Midnight Rambler, Super Fox, and Star Dust Memories but if you can find the set it’s so much more economical.
MIDNIGHT RAMBLER is the one I wore first because I just couldn’t resist the dark inky blue. It’s stunning on and it looked beautiful throughout the week. If you are a dark blue polish fan you won’t find prettier. Be sure you use a good base coat though because it will stain if you don’t.
PACIFICA 7 FREE in SUPER FOX is the teal to end all teals. It’s a clear shade as in not murky. There’s a very subtle shimmer to it that you’ll enjoy seeing on your nails.
Star Dust Memories is the hardest to describe. In some lights it looks like a light charcoal, in other lights I see a lot of blue undertones, and sometimes it seems like a silver gray. I needed to add top coat midweek to keep this shiny but the polish itself wore great.
Now that I’ve experienced Pacifica nail color I see several shades that look very enticing to me. If they all apply as smoothly and wear as well as these did then it’s a brand to collect. — Marcia
