Polish & Co OH Hell No

I’d love to take a trip to North Carolina for several reasons but one that you’d never guess would be to meet the creator of a fabulous nail polish line, Theresa Williamson of Polish & Co. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to review two of the amazing polishes she’s created and I’d love to be able to meet and interview her plus see how they make these beauties.

Polish & Co Mint To Tell You

If you’ve noticed, what you wear on your nails is becoming more and more important and noticeable. After the Democratic Convention all the talk was about the beautiful polish that Michelle Obama wore during her speech. After award shows like the recent Emmy Awards you saw how the stars accented their clothes through their choice of nail colors. When you are dressing up, whether it’s for dinner or a night on the town, you want to establish a certain image and a great looking polish finishes your look.

Polish & Co

For your consideration today I have two polishes that I fell in love with: Oh Hell No and Mint to Tell You. Yes, Theresa is as creative in her names for polishes as she is in her creation of gorgeous colors.

I started with Oh Hell No since I was mesmerized with this beautiful metallic pink. I’ve been keeping it on my computer desk actually since I love the shade and plan to wear it often. There’s gusto to this pink and it looks as good on toes as it does on my fingertips. I’ve used Oh Hell No as the undercoat for glitter polish too and it’s fabulous.  Just take a gander at these gorgeous pictures.

Later when I decided to wear Mint to Tell You I decided it was the perfect shade to use to try out my Crea Nails. So when you were admiring my skill (you were, weren’t you??) you were also seeing that even a person with two left hands could polish their nails with this gorgeous green. This is a mint green cream but it’s not a pastel. It has a zest to it that makes it lovely to look at and even better to wear.

Polish & Co currently has 27 polishes to choose from. This isn’t a company that does glitter or holographic nail polish, it concentrates on gorgeous creams instead. It’s formulated without harmful ingredients like formaldehyde, toluene, parabens and DBP. There is free shipping with the purchase of at least 2 bottles and it’s not hard to choose two. They have a great feature on their Show Me page  – you can click on one of the 22 colors on the page and it shows you what a hand looks like wearing that shade. I hope they update it soon since I have my eye on the color Craft and that’s not one of the Show Me choices.

Both of these polishes lasted beautifully on me. If a polish is right I can easily get 7 to 14 days wear out of it and Polish & Co is right! I wore Oh Hell No for 10 days and then used a glitter polish over it for another 4 days worth of wear. It doesn’t get better than that. While you don’t have to go to North Carolina to buy these, you do need to buy them if you love beautiful colors that last and last. — Marcia

  2. Mimi’s Mani’s I adore the pink. I couldn’t stop looking at my nails when wearing it. I was surprised too at how much I like the green since I usually take greens off after 2 – 3 days but I left this on for almost a week.

  3. That mint is like the perfect shade of mint! Thanks for the swatches I hadn’t heard of this company before.

  4. Ooh that pink gets my heart racing.

  6. Isn’t the mint gorgeous. It reminds me of ice cream. The quality is amazing.
