Let’s have a little Kip with butter LONDON nail lacquer

butter london kip

butter LONDON has always captured my heart and KIP Nail Lacquer has the distinction of bringing spring to my step and my nails. I was thrilled to receive this for review and I’ll be wearing it often. Kip is “what the brits call a catnap, because even the beauty-obsessed need a bit of sleep.”

Kip is the perfect oxford cloth blue to my eyes. People have asked me if it’s periwinkle but when put up against a swatch of that shade you really can see that this skycloud blue is the most soothing shade. It makes me believe that spring will arrive again. As a matter of fact, since I applied this the temperatures rose and the snow is melting. Could it be Kip that did that?

On the butter LONDON site they describe Kip as having shimmer but it’s absolutely miniscule. It has just enough in it to bring a lovely sparkle in the sunlight but in home or office light you’ll just notice this gorgeous creamy polish.

I’m totally in love with this shade and I’m so happy that butter LONDON has the philosphy of “we never add Formaldehyde, Toluene, DBP, phthalates or parabens to any of our products”. I’ll be taking a few Kips this spring and definitely this summer too. Will you? — Marcia
