Color Me Monthly Janus for January’s polish of the month

Color Me Monthly Janus

Color Me Monthly Janus

What color do you think of when you think January? Some months are just so easy – February is pink and especially red; March is green and the more emerald the better, April brings us pastels that would be Easter Egg perfect, October is orange of course. But what about January? Maybe navy because of the darkness of it would fit. But charcoal? Who would think of charcoal other than the wonderful women who own Color Me Monthly.

If you don’t know about Color Me Monthly it’s time you did. This is a one polish a month subscription ($7) made by two sisters that is  Non-toxic & Carcinogen-free, Never tested on animal, Vegan, Eco-friendly, Made in the USA, Shipped FREE!

Each month they pick a color they think represents the month. And yes, they did choose charcoal. A charcoal gray jelly. This was chosen in honor of Janus, the god of beginnings, transitions, and door. He looks to both the past and the future so January is his month.

While you won’t be able to purchase this polish until it hits the VAULT soon ($9) you can be smart and order a subscription for yourself or someone else as a last minute Valentine’s Day gift.

Color Me Monthly polishes last a full week on me without any chipping or fading. While I can’t wear every month’s polish I certainly can wear most of them, especially their beautiful creams and jellys.

  2. This dark color is definitely a good fit for bleak, cold January.

  3. I love the dark color and how you put the little white hearts on one nail.
