butter LONDON has a new collection available that’s called Lolly Brights. It grabbed my eye the minute I saw these and I’m thrilled that butter LONDON has sent some my way to share with you. This is an amazing collection that is unlike the others out there.
Lolly Brights has 6 polishes; 2 are cream formulas while the others are metallic. I’ve got 2 metallics to share with you and they are ‘mahvelous dahling’.
These polishes make the most breathtaking manicures. They applied dreamily and the colors are very striking. They give the effect of shimmer radiating throughout but they aren’t glitter polishes nor are they textured.
Stroppy is a full coverage purple metallic with shimmer that takes it above and beyond a typical purple polish. It’s the kind of color that makes people stop and grab your hand to take a better look. “Strop” means to have a bad mood but that’s impossible when you stare at this polish.
If the name Stroppy sounds family it’s because there used to be a jelly polish from BL but that’s not available any longer. They’ve used the name again but they aren’t the same polish. This cool toned purple has small flecks of pink and red shimmer that look especially pretty in the sun.
Lolly is the color that the collection is named for and it’s an absolute keeper.
It took my breath away when I opened the package. It’s a cherry pink/red that is totally unique for me. I couldn’t wait to get this on my nails.
Lolly is going to make the most brilliant pedicure shade. When I look at the butter LONDON website I don’t see this polish which surprises me but they do have a shade called Disco Biscuit in the collection that looks like it could be the same polish. It’s described as “A tropical hot-pink jelly with an undercurrent of tiny iridescent glitter particles.”
Whether you can find Lolly or Disco Biscuit you won’t regret having these polishes around for spring and summer fun. — Marcia
