It’s August and about now your sunscreen is either running low or getting very tired. We’re never going to tell you not to use sunscreen since we believe in it firmly. And when a sunscreen can do more than protect you from the sun’s harmful rays then you need it even more. Kiehl’s sent along their Super Muti-Corrective Cream Sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF30 and it’s a joy to use. I’m not an outdoors person but that doesn’t mean I’m not in the sun daily. Between my husband’s new convertible and two little ones who’d rather be outside running I’ve got to have good protection. I used to burn so badly that I’d blister but I’ve learned to protect myself from that.
Kiehl’s Super Muti-Corrective Cream Sunscreen does everything for me. It’s considered to be a 5-in-1 product.
The Super Multi-Corrective Cream can be used night and day. Most people don’t want a sunscreen at night but it certainly doesn’t hurt. Kiehl’s does make this without the addition of sunscreen though so that’s an option too. It’s especially nice to use this on your neck to moisturize.
This cream contains two great ingredients: JASMONIC ACID which is inspired by “signal molecules” secreted by plants that begins a self-repair process – Corrects wrinkles and fine lines, loss of suppleness and elasticity. And BEECH TREE EXTRACT “Sugar extracted from Beech Tree which helps improve skins overall firmness”. And we can’t forget the sunscreen ingredients used:
When I first opened this I noticed a fragrance to it but upon use there is none. With ingredients like jasmine flower extract I was a little worried, but this is an easy to use moisturizer. I know that some of you are reading this and saying “but why a jar?”. Many people are worried about contamination but I keep small plastic spatulas in a plastic bag nearby and wash them off after each use. This is a thick cream but it absorbs pretty quickly. I do let it sit before applying anything else to make sure that all is absorbed.
You can’t go wrong with Kiehl’s products and this is definitely one of their Super Stars.– Marcia
