Senna Bewitching Beauty promo

For Fall/Winter 2012 Senna Cosmetics has created a beautiful collection of products called Bewitching Beauty. It contains some bold and daring shades like Scarlet Fever lipstick “a drop dead red” and Lexicon Sparkle eyeshadow “teal noir”. It also has a great volumizing mascara, Voluptulash.

With striking colors and a look like this you know that Voluptulash has a lot to do to keep up with the pack.

Senna Voluptulash mascara

Voluptulash ($22) is available in one shade – Deep Black. You want those lashes to stand out and that’s what Voluptulash does. You can create a lot of volume with the brush, especially if you follow these steps.

Senna Voluptulash Mascara

Start at the base of your lashes and wiggle the brush side to side. By doing that you are creating depth at the lashline. Then you sweep up to the lash tips. Let it dry and reapply to create even more volume.

OR

1) Holding your brush horizontally coat your lashes, then turn it vertically and use the wand like a windshield wiper to super coat your lashes.

2) Follow that side sweep with another horizontal sweep emphasizing the lashline again and bringing it upwards. You’ll gain length this way.

3) For definition you can then use a lashcomb like the Tweezerman Folding Eyelash Comb.

Voluptulash is definitely a volumizing mascara. I get thicker than usual lashes when using this. The brush is described as a helix shape and is designed to not only give great volume but also to define your lashes. It’s created with Hi-Tech polymers to boost the strength and volume of your lashes without clumps. I really like that it doesn’t feel crunchy since crunchy mascara usually means flakes on me.
