How BioRepublic and Shea Moisture are beautifying eyes this summer

Anyone who knows me knows that I’d rather have great looking eye makeup than any other products. I love all cosmetics but when it comes to eyes, that’s the cat’s meow. Luckily for me I’ve been sent two products that are making my eyes stand out more than ever.

As a mask lover I was thrilled to be able to try the BioRepublic Lost Baggage Under Eye Emergency Repair Masks . I’m all about masks and not many are made to specifically make your eyes look better. With puffiness and dark circles as a constant reminder finding this mask is terrific. I was totally surprised at how much serum was inside the package enough that I cheated and put them back into the package after and used them a second time.

According to BioRepublic they’ve included over half a bottle of revitalizing serum into each mask package. The restorative infusion consists of peptides, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and Vitamin E. The actual mask is made from 100% pure biocellulose hydrogel material, which is known for its ability to absorb and lock in moisture. After 15-20 minutes you will see a difference. My eyes look so much more hydrated. Most of the darkness and puffiness is gone so I’m ready to face the day or night.

Shea Moisture Absolute Volumizing Mascara

Now it’s time for eye makeup and having a great mascara seals the deal for me. Try as I might, without mascara my eyes disappear. Shea Moisture Absolute Volumizing Mascara is the one I’m using now and I’m loving how my eyes look. What I like about the mascara is that it’s been formulated with ingredients that are good for lashes. It contains Shea butter, vitamin E, panthenol, aloe vera leaf juice and nettle extract. These are all included to help condition and strengthen lashes. But it’s the performance that we are all really looking for.

I usually use two generous coats of mascara and find that’s the perfect amount for this one. At two coats I get terrific definition, a good amount of length and volume. What I don’t get is really important to me and that means no clumping or smearing. At the end of the day I’ll sometimes find some small flakes under my eyes but I’m pretty sure it’s my eyeliner and not this mascara.
