Wow, this sounds BEYOND cool. Make Up For Ever is launching a mobile Make Up School to teach people how to use products they already own. Yes – not to sell you more Make Up For Ever (which I would be up for anyway!) but to teach you the best methods to use whatever you already have in your stash. Genius! They are going to 9 cities across the U.S. and Canada, from February to April. Here is the scoop – will they be coming to a city near you? Sign up begins today!
New York, NY – MAKE UP FOR EVER, the Paris based professional make up brand coveted by top industry artists, announces the launch of its first-ever mobile tour designed to bring education to consumers in an engaging way, teaching them how to actually do their own make up, not just have it applied. As part of the Make Up Bag Remix concept, MAKE UP FOR EVER’s team of professional artists will take a look inside consumers’ make up bags and teach them how to properly use what they already own, regardless of the brand, as well as overhaul products that are the wrong shade or texture. MAKE UP FOR EVER is bringing the same techniques used by wardrobe stylists in the closet to style consumers’ make up bags at their innovative mobile Make Up School. The idea is to make your make up bag work harder for you.
The mobile tour will travel to the following cities in early 2013:
Los Angeles, CA: February 1st – 3rd
San Francisco, CA: February 9th – 10th
Las Vegas, NV: February 16th – 17th
Dallas, TX: February 23rd – 24th
Miami, FL: March 2nd – 3rd
New York, NY: March 9th – 10th
Boston, MA: March 23rd – 24th
Chicago, IL: April 6th – 7th
Toronto, ON: April 13th – 14th
Consumers are invited to book appointments for 30 minute one-on-one make up bag evaluations inside the Make Up School, where a professional artist will go through their bag, provide an interactive, hands-on lesson explaining how to apply their products, and show them how to supplement what they already own to create their most flattering look. Each client will walk away with a new make up bag, a custom face chart detailing how to use the products they brought, and a list of any additional products recommended by the artist to round out their look. A professional photographer will also be on-site to capture each client’s “after” look, which will be uploaded to an album on the MAKE UP FOR EVER USA Facebook page.
For those on-the-go with limited time, MAKE UP FOR EVER will have make up stations dedicated to quick lip and complexion touch ups featuring Pro Finish, the brand’s innovative new multi-use compact foundation launching in 2013.
Consumers can book appointments to secure a Make Up Bag Remix session beginning January 23rd by visiting www.facebook.com/MAKEUPFOREVERUSA. Sessions are available from 12:00pm – 8:00pm on Saturday and 11:00am – 7:00pm on Sunday.
