Who doesn’t want lush lips? I know I do. In fact, here’s a secret – when I was young, my brothers used to tease me by calling me ‘chicken lips’. Oh yes, I grew up painfully aware that my thin lips were definitely less than lush. I am always up for testing lip plumpers, and it was a happy day when LifeCell sent me their MaxiLip Lip Plumping Treatment to test.

What I like about this product is that it’s simple and easy. One tube is exactly what you need for one month of use, applying three times a day. This lip plumper increases the size of lips while also moisturizing thanks to the main ingredient, hyaluronic acid. The lip plumper temporarily increases or dilates blood vessels, which accounts for the added volume. In fact, LifeCell says that the daily use increases volume up to 40%.

While the wand makes it look like the plumper adds a pink shade to lips, it actually goes basically clear but shiny. It has a very nice slip, makes lips tingle just a bit, and is definitely comfortable.

As far as lip plumpers go, this is one of the nicest I have tested. My only issue is that this costs $49 but when something works it’s worth the price. Take a look at the website at lifecellcream.com/lipplumper to decide for yourself.  – Lisa

It is a little expensive but seeing the results seems like it may be worth it for some people!

  4. Phyrra | 20th Apr 16

    Wow that’s insanely expensive!

  5. Cindy (Prime Beauty) | 20th Apr 16

I need this, but yeah, $9 is pricey.

  6. Hannah C | 20th Apr 16

Wow, I love that before and after. I would buy this but $49 is pricey, I would consider it if I could afford it!

  7. Aleya Bamdad | 20th Apr 16

I can definitely see a difference! I want to try this.

  8. Melissa | 20th Apr 16

  9. Nina | 20th Apr 16

  11. Kristi V BeginNails | 20th Apr 16

  12. Raine | 20th Apr 16

What a difference, the price may be steep but the results are worth it. It’s way cheaper and less painful with lip injections, plus I’ve seen some horrible injection results. I can’t wait to try this.

  13. Kathy Davis | 20th Apr 16

These treatments usually dry my lips, but this looks great.

  14. Nidia - Lit From Within | 21st Apr 16

I have pretty full lips, but with the Kylie lips trend, it seems no one has full ENOUGH lips anymore! lol. I love hyaluronic acid in my skincare, so it seems like a perfect ingredient in lipcare, too.

  15. Renu | 21st Apr 16

Whoa, what a difference! It certainly looks like it gives a pretty pink tint.

  16. Shilpa Gandotra | 21st Apr 16

that price tag is a big obstacle. But wow at the results.

  19. gloria patterson | 21st Apr 16

I have to admit $49 makes me stop and think about how much I do or don’t want plump lips. I think plump lips are OK but i just hate duck face they make for pictures.

  20. Brooke @ Blushing Noir | 21st Apr 16

The before and after is impressive! I love the color!

  21. Ann | 21st Apr 16

What a difference! But that price…..

  22. Krystal E | 22nd Apr 16

Oh yes I think this needs to be my next splurge.
