Three of the cutest products came my way from Palmer’s and I can’t get enough of these. These are a ball of fun this summer. This is a new debut for Palmer’s and they use their patented Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E but in the most luscious flavors/scents. There are just these three flavors but I hope they are successful enough to create some fall and winter FlipBalms.
Each of the FlipBalms contains something special – Juicy Watermelon (my favorite) contains watermelon extract, Creamy Coconut contains coconut oil, and Ripe Mango contains mango extract. They smell so true to the real product that it’s like having a fruit salad at your service.
These are just too cute for words but they are also effective as a wonderful lip balm. They are very moisturizing and last for a great amount of time. They flip open and then lock into place so they are easy to apply. They say they are a one handed flip design but as an oldie I need two hands.
When I started using these I kept thinking of all the ways I’d love to gift these $3.50 balms. My kids used to go to a sleepaway camp for 3 weeks in the summer and these would be perfect to send in camp goodie mailer. The kids aren’t allowed to receive food there anymore but these would be close to food, at least with their sniffers. I also envision putting one in a child’s backpack for going back to school. What a fun surprise for them to open their backpack and find one in there. Another reason I hope these become available in more cold weather flavors is for their stockings hung by the chimney with care.
These can be found at mass retailers, drugstores and grocery stores. MSRP is $3.50 so avoid Amazon with their inflated price. Target has these for $2.99. No Parabens – No Phthalates – No Petrolatum – No Gluten.
As Palmer’s says “Flip, Click, Smooth”. Good advice!
What flavor would you flip for? – Marcia
