The Mane Choice and National Love Your Hair Day are made for each other

The Mane Choice Split End Treatment Serum and Deep Strengthening & Restorative Mask Treatment

Turn on the smell app to read this review – do it now. Take a deep breath because you are going to be enchanted by the delicious fragrance of The Mane Event hair care products. For me to tell you that means they must be out of this world since I’m such a fragrance phobe. But these products are so wonderful to smell that they make me want to use them even more. I smell a light sweet citrus that envelops me in delight.

I was introduced to two products from The Mane Choice this summer and have been enjoying them ever since. When I received Deep Strengthening & Restorative Mask Treatment and noticed it’s subtitled “green tea & carrot” I was sure I was going to have to pass these on to Lisa but once I smelled it, it went right into my shower.

The Mane Choice Deep Strengthening & Restorative Mask Treatment

The ladies who’ve created The Mane Choice all have curly hair while I have straight hair but this line is meant for everyone. This Mask Treatment is meant to be used once to twice a month to give your hair deep penetration to bring your hair back to its optimal shape.

You need time to use this properly since directions tell you to wash & rinse, then apply a generous amount and leave it in. For the most effective use put a plastic cap over it and let it mellow for up to an hour. If you are in a hurry though use it with heat for 15 minutes before rinsing it out.

The Mane Choice Deep Strengthening & Restorative Mask Treatment

It’s enriched with biotin, green tea, and carrot oil to immediately begin repairing and restoring dry and damaged strands and to make hair naturally healthy and shiny. I find that the best amount of time for me to keep this on is between 20 and 30 minutes. My hair isn’t that damaged even though I use heat on it. If I leave the mask on for too long my hair gets too soft. So far I’ve been using it every 3 weeks, I like to use it prior to getting my hair color treated so that it’s in excellent condition to deal with that. And don’t forget the yummy smell.

The Mane Choice Split End Treatment Serum and Deep Strengthening & Restorative Mask Treatment

The product I use more often is The Mane Choice Split End Treatment Serum since this can be used daily. This is called the antidote to split ends. As someone whose hobby used to be picking apart my split ends I know a lot about them. Heat tools are the enemy but I can’t let my hair air dry so I need them. This Ancient Egyptian Split End Treatment Serum is making sure that my ends are hydrated and nourished. It can be applied to wet or dry hair so it’s great to rub some on my ends before using my heated brush on no shampoo days. I’ve used it on my whole head too and it works well but it’s meant to be concentrated at the ends of your hair.

The Mane Choice Split End Treatment Serum

Talk about wonderful ingredients and you’ve got this serum! It’s filled with some of the most rare and robust natural oils such as Kalahari Oil, Oleaster Oil, Mongongo Oil, and Baobab Oil to strengthen, repair and add remarkable shine. It’s also loaded with fatty acids omega 3, 6 and 9. It makes me feel like I should be adding this to a smoothie.

I have a National Love Your Hair Day any time I use these two products. They work in conjunction with other hair products I’m using, don’t weigh my hair down, and they smell scrumptious.  —  Marcia
