Farmhouse Fresh, a Texas-based bath and body company, has some of the yummiest body products available. Their products are whimsical and nostalgic and wonderfully fun to use. The packaging is to die for and this is a surprisingly affordable line. It’s a coveted line that has won numerous consumer awards including Redbook’s Most Valuable Beauty Product, Daily Candy’s Best of Beauty, Oprah’s O-List, and Elle Canada Hot List.
Needless to say, we were pretty excited when the BIZ was sent two products for review consideration, and these luxurious products lived up to the hype! For review today, I have the Sundae Best Chocolate Softening Mask with CoQ10 ($20, 3.25 oz. glass jar 14-18 applications) and the Honey Heel Glaze ($24, 3 oz. Quilted Glass Jar + Application Brush).
The Sundae Best Chocolate Softening Mask with CoQ10 is so deliciously chocolatey you will be tempted to eat it!! It’s 98% natural and gluten-free. This yummy mask softens skin, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, and rejuvenates skin. Extremely effective ingredients include cocoa, coconut milk, and honey plus lots of enzymes like Live Carrot Fruit Cells and Ginseng Extract to fight free radicals and tighten skin.
The powerhouse ingredient in this mask is the CoQ10. CoQ10, also known as ubiquinone, is one of the very best antioxidants and anti-irritants you can get. It reduces the appearance of wrinkles by protecting from UV damage, increasing collagen production, and fighting free radicals. It’s also a fantastic anti-inflammatory so it relieves skin irritation and leaves it wonderfully healthy.
This mask smells like a deep chocolate brownie. It comes in a glass jar, so be sure to keep the top on tight and use a scoop of some sort to remove the mask – no dipping in fingers!! Smooth this mask on to a clean face and let it dry for at least 20 minutes before removing with a cool damp washcloth. Skin is left feeling fabulously smooth and it looks radiant. This mask is great for all skin types except for those with rosacea; for those with this affliction, Farmhouse Fresh recommends their Pajama Paste instead.
Up next – the Honey Heel Glaze.
I knew I was in trouble when my massage therapist said, “Um…wow…I don’t ever remember your feet ever being this dry!” My husband has started using a bar soap (sorry Irish Spring, you smell good but you are NOT good for my skin) and I had been walking around barefoot in our house, floors awash with dry heat. So the Honey Heel Glaze was a real godsend. This is 96.2% natural and gluten-free. It’s a beautiful caramel colored honey-based moisture serum that fully moisturizes, seals in that moisture, and heals cracked and chalky feet and heels. An added bonus – it works miracles on dry hands and knuckles, too.
It comes in a stunning quilted glass jar and has an accompanying synthetic brush to apply the serum. Oh my this smells divine…like fresh honey, cinnamon, and sweet fresh cloves. I rub a small amount into my feet for instant gratification and I also put on a thick layer and cover with socks for an amazing overnight treatment. This elegant formulation has ultimate moisturizers like real honey, aloe leaf juice, pineapple, and papaya fruit extracts. The serum is silky smooth but not sticky, and it leaves feet instantly moisturized without any greasy after effects. The texture is like a liquidy honey which makes it easy to apply and it soaks in very quickly.
If you haven’t checked out Farmhouse Fresh, please take a moment to do so. In addition to these two beautiful and effective products, there are so many other lust-worthy items. Just browsing is a huge pleasure. – Lisa
