I am on a total bar soap kick lately…all the different styles, textures, and scents are so much fun. Bar soap certainly isn’t what it was back in the day. While bar soap is very nostalgic for me, I also remember how soap used to smell so….soapy. Plus, every brand seemed to dry out skin and leave itchy patches. Well, that was then and this is now, and Farmhouse Fresh has a trio of fantastic retro bars of soap that combine all the best from the past and the now. samples
All three varieties of the Shea Butter Bar Soap ($11.50) are wrapped in beautiful, thick printed paper tied with hemp rope. The Shea Butter Bar Soap is 97% natural and paraben and sulfate free. All three varieties create a full, creamy lather that cleans and moisturizes. No dry skin patches from these hydrating bars of goodness! And the fragrances….oooooh they all smell SO good.
Ok, so it is officially fall and Front Porch Punch is scented with ripe, juicy summer fruits, including strawberry, grapefruit, mango, melon and peach – but I don’t care what season it is, you are going to love this soap. It smells so good you will want to lather up from head to toe, and the super thick foam is great for shaving.
Citrine Beach is a totally different scent – not sweet, but fresh and clean smelling. It’s a morning breeze filled with fresh grapefruit and orange that will wake you up and put a smile on your face.
My most favorite of the three Shea Butter Bar Soaps is – surprise! – Coconut Cream. Oh this is lovely. It’s a deep, rich coconut that isn’t too foody or too tropical…it just smells like amazing, deliciously fresh coconut. Wow is it good.
