I have so many pigments it’s insane. Seriously, if you saw my collection you would insist I get pigment therapy. But with all the colors and brands I have there are a few that I reach for over and over. Some of my favorites are the AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadows from Inglot. I love the size of the jars, I love the price, and I love the texture and color payoff. And pigments are fantastic for Halloween because they are so versatile!
Inglot describes their pigment eyeshadows as, “Highly concentrated loose coloured powder that ranges from subtle to ultra-intense effects depending on application. The product contains sponge gourd oil and almost 90% pure pigment. Can be mixed with DURALINE to create liquid forms of all pigment colours.” The jar size is 2 g/0.07 US OZ and sells for $16 to $19, depending on the shade.
Pigments are beautiful used dry, but typically you get the most bang for your buck when you use some sort of mixing medium. I haven’t tried the Inglot Duraline yet, but my three favorites are MAC Mixing Medium, Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy, and FACE atelier Transforming Gel. I used the FACE atelier Transforming Gel for the wet swatches – it triples the color payoff and while there is room for play, when dry it gives the pigment incredible staying power.
Here are the Inglot AMC Pure Pigment Eyeshadows shades I reach for the most:

The darker colors also make great eyeliners mixed with a mixing medium. I love pigments in general, but always pull them out around Halloween for costumes since they can be used on the eyes, lips, cheeks, nails, even hair.
