Have a Girl’s Night Out with Beth Bender Beauty

Beth Bender Girl's Night Out Smokey Eye Stencil Set

Beth Bender Girl’s Night Out Smokey Eye Stencil Set

Today is my birthday! Happy birthday to me. I’m going out for dinner with some good friends and my dear husband. I’ve been practicing the look I’ll be wearing and I’m going to go with using this set that Beth Bender Beauty sent a while ago. This is their Girl’s Night Out Smokey Eye Stencil Set and it’s on sale for $28.99 (from $38) right now.

Here’s what this particular makeup set includes:

-1 Pro Eyeshadow Brush

-1 Duo Eyeshadow in Onyx & Platinum

-1 Cat Eyeliner Stencil & Top Eyeliner Stencil

-1 Smokey Eye Stencil & Bottom Eyeliner Stencil

-1 Step by step Instruction card

-1 Black neoprene zippered pouch to pop in your bag and take with you

The two stencils help with both eyeshadow and eyeliner. The top stencil is for eye placement to get a great shape for a smokey eye. It also helps with lining the bottom lashline. The second stencil is to help with a Cat Eyeliner. I personally have a lot of trouble doing a cat liner look because my eyes are slightly almond shape and droop. I’m also too old to have too much of an exaggerated line – or at least I’m a day older than yesterday.

The Duo Eyeshadow in Onyx & Platinum is a great shadow combination for this look. The Onyx isn’t really black, it’s more of a charcoal that you can intensify if you want. The color Platinum isn’t silver but it’s a light gray that’s more flattering.

Here’s my latest practice eye for the look. I’m glad I did it and took pictures because I can see what I want to change in it. First I smudged my mascara so I have to be ultra-cautious about that. Second my brows need to be filled in better. But I’m happy that the stencil helped me with the shadow and especially with the liner. I never get an extended eye look as easily as I do when I’m working with these stencils. I’m also going to use a liner like the tarte inner rim brightener to hid any redness.beth bender eye2Beth Bender Beauty contains specific directions to help you get the look.

Since I like a dark eyeliner I used a liquid eyeliner (Eddie Funkhouser) and I’ve tried it with gel eyeliner too. On the bottom lashline I can use the Onyx side of the shadow duo though to get a softer smudged look.

This is a very versatile kit that I’m enjoying using. They have other kits and products that are ones to look into too. You can buy just the stencils for only $14.99 if you want. Lisa reviewed the Pro Girl’s Night Out Set so you can see how that works with golden shades HERE.

If you are ready for a night out and a change for the better in your makeup, consider Beth Bender Beauty. She’s celebrating my birthday with me today and I appreciate that. — Marcia
