Natural Brow Duo from Pixi Beauty has come to my rescue. I’m suddenly obsessed with eyebrows which you’ll see more of this week. I never had to worry about eyebrows before but the hair on my face is moving. Those little hairs on my lashes and eyebrows are migrating downward. It’s an age thing. Hairy upper lips and chin are now prevalent while lashes and brows get skimpier. It’s totally not fair. But with the right tools you can help remedy this problem.
Part of the package I received from Pixi contains this 2-in-1 Brow Duo. The duo is available in 3 shades: Natural Brown which is a “suit all adjustable brown”, Deep Brunette (dark brown) and Soft Black ($16).
One side is a pencil and the other side is a brow gel. I struggle with my brows and once I got the hang of using this I’ve been enjoying this duo so much.
You’ve seen the shape of this pencil before so it’s not totally revolutionary. There’s a reason why you’ve seen it – it’s a perfect shape to help fill in your brows. It has a slanted wind up pencil that needs to be warmed up a little before applying. When you first get this it might seem like there’s not a lot of color but if you rub it on your hand or blow it with your hairdryer you’ll soften it up for easy use.
The opposite end is the spoolie for the Gel side of the duo. This works like a mascara spoolie would and picks up just the right amount of the gel in the tube. Since the brush is relatively small you can really work with it to add a little color, fill in sparse areas, and tame your brows. I’ve been aghast lately at some of my eye shots since I never realized, until too late, that I was starting to look like a balding Groucho.
As you can see the gel is visible but still very light and natural. I’ve used it with other brow products since I received it and it works great with everything.
I’m very happy with my tamed and filled in brows and just have to remember that Practice Makes Perfect. Pixi Beauty is helping me with this. It’s time to get on the Pixi wagon and tame your eyebrows along with me. — Marcia
