Using an eye mask is the most expedient way to make a difference on the skin around your eyes. It’s a quick fix usually that makes us look more refreshed and ready to take on the world. But what if you don’t want just a quick fix but something that will last longer? That’s where VIIcode Oxygen Mask comes in.
VIIcode has a long history starting in the 1800’s but the ingredients and technology in their VIICode O2M Oxygen Mask is current for the 2000’s. Their story is interesting and contains portions that are important to us. “In 1993 VIIcode joined Conservation International (CI) to preserve the earth’s natural heritage, protect global biodiversity, and prove that human civilization can live in harmony with nature.”

I was sent a box of their VII O2M Oxygen Mask which is the first overnight mask I’ve tried for my eyes. As someone who suffers from insomnia I was more than a bit worried about how I’d react to a mask that I’d be wearing throughout the night. But as someone who feels that my eye area is the most delicate and precious to having a youthful appearance, I was gung ho to try this.
Inside each box of VIIcode O2M Oxygen Masks are 6 treatment packages. It’s suggested to use these 2 -3 times a week. For a full treatment they also recommend using three boxes but I found a difference using just this one box.
Application is easy and not unusual at all. The most important part is where you apply the masks since you need to be able to close your eyes comfortably without any pinching or discomfort. I found I had to place them a little lower than I would with a short time mask.
The first night I wore them I did have to move them once in bed. I’d have loved to get them up close under my lower lashes but that wasn’t a possibility. While it did take me longer to fall asleep that night, I happily slept through the night without these bothering me at all. I was anxious to see how I looked after the 8 hours were complete.
My after picture was taken about an hour after I removed the masks since I wasn’t fully awake when I woke to take them off. I went back to sleep for an hour and then took the photo. This is after one use and I saw a difference that lasted throughout the next two days. My skin was softer and less lined. A lot of the puffiness was gone and I really didn’t look as dark under my eyes.
What I like most about VIIcode Oxygen Mask is that I’m getting sustained skin care. It contains all all the essential vitamins, antioxidants, botanicals, peptides and essential fatty acids that my eyes need to keep them looking brighter. That long term dose of serum is hydrating to my under eye area making it appear less lined.
While these are recommended for 8 hours of nighttime use, I’ve also used them during the day. When I’m staying home all day to work on the blog or things around my house I’ve worn them instead of wearing them at night. Once on they stay on and don’t move around. I can do whatever I want without worrying about slipping and sliding. The serum is contained and at work throughout the time I’m wearing them.
