Lily.B comes to the rescue with Ultra Eye Cream

The funny thing about my obsession with eye cream is that I never used one before turning 40. My sister would beg me to use one and she’d convince me to buy them. I think it was a ploy though to take it from me about 4 months later when she discovered that I hadn’t used it. Now though, don’t mess with me and my eye creams. They are important to me and I use them twice a day with regularity. My latest eye cream is Lily.B Ultra Eye Cream.

As with all eye creams I test them morning and night but then usually delegate them to one time of day. Reasons for this are twofold: I use a different bathroom in the morning since my hubby goes to bed super early and I have insomnia plus I love getting use out of more than one eye cream. Lily.B Ultra Eye Cream (aka Multi-Action Rescue Ultra Eye Cream) has become my morning eye cream.

This comes in a pump so it’s very hygienic. I usually put some on right out of the shower to give it time to begin moisturizing my undereye area. On the days I put on makeup I’ll also mix a tiny amount with my concealer (Tarte Maracuja Waterproof Concealer) to make that go on smoothly and blend better. That way I never have to tug at the delicate undereye skin. Another reason I like this during the daytime is that it helps brighten my undereye area.

Lily.B Ultra Eye Cream ingredient list

Lily.B is formulated with oodles of good ingredients:

–          Jojoba Oil to help with the moisture content in your skin and helps restore natural pH balance

–          Apricot Kernal Oil which contains vitamins A and E and helps hydrate while absorbing quickly

–          Squalene, this is extracted from olive oil and is rich in antioxidant protection

–          Hyaluronic Acid (my favorite buzz word) which has the unique ability to attract and retain moisture within the skin so it helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles plus helps improve skin texture

–          Vitamin K which is known to help the appearance of dark circles under your eyes

–          Arnica Montana, an extract from the arnica blossom. This has a stimulating effect on the skin and helps with puffiness

I like that the Lily.B Ultra Eye Cream is oil free. Plus it doesn’t have all those bad things we read about like parabens, sulfates, glycols, artificial fragrance  and synthetic color. Plus it’s cruelty free.

Lily.B was developed for women who are past the acne phase but haven’t quite reached the need for invasive, costly, anti-aging products and treatments. They believe the earlier we protect our skin from harmful, aging elements like the sun’s UVA and UVB rays, pollution, diet and stress, the easier it will be to manage the signs of aging later in life. Lily.B Skin Care offers a simple, 3-step regimen designed to purify, replenish and protect using natural, non-irritating, age-defying ingredients like hyaluronic acid, red tea, vitamins C, E and K and arnica. Ideal for all skin types, Lily.B offers an essential, uncomplicated daily regimen that will protect your skin for years to come.

If you are addicted to eye cream then you need to add this to your list (and don’t tell your sister!).
