A triple for your eyes: brows, lashes, and dark circles

There are a plethora of wonderful products to help improve our eyes. These weren’t available long ago or they would have been hard to find but now we can learn so much online. That’s why we love sharing some of our finds with you. Today my team has hit a triple starting with EES, Essential Eyebrow Solution. Then we ran down to our lashes and there’s PRIORI, Lash Recovery Serum. And for bases loaded there’s VI Derm, Revitalizing Eye Cream.

EES, Vi Derm and Priori

The reason I was eager to try EES Essential Eyebrow Solution is because of my meager eyebrows. They aren’t what they used to be. A combination of age and illness have chipped away the lusher eyebrows of my “youth” and left me with sparseness, especially at the start of my brows. When I began writing on Beauty Info Zone my brows weren’t an issue. I took pictures and realized later that I hadn’t touched my brows. Not so today. I must do my eyebrows.

EES Essential Eyebrow Solution

That means I need some extra help and that’s where EES has come into play. I don’t have before/after pictures since they aren’t dramatic but what I do have is fuller brows that look so much better when I apply my eyebrow cosmetics.

EES is infused with natural botanical black cohosh, EES™ is a patented formula that nourishes brows to help support lasting fullness, conditions brows to promote strength, suppleness, and shine, and revitalizes eyebrow hair, resulting in the appearance of thicker, fuller eyebrows.

EES, Essential Eyebrow Solution

EES is a clear liquid in a blue bottle. Use a fresh end of a cotton swab to apply. Don’t double dip. There’s a slight smell of alcohol but it’s a non-issue since it’s not noticeable. It dries down pretty quickly but I give it at least 10 minutes before I apply my brow makeup.

To see full results it’s recommended that you use this twice a day on clean brows for 90 days. A 1 oz bottle ($90) will last the full 90 days so you should be able to see results. While you won’t look like Groucho Marx (thank goodness) you will have fuller brows that don’t embarrass you.

Priori Lash Recovery System

Moving on to second base you’ll find PRIORI Lash Recovery Serum. Another problem for me is my eyelashes. It’s not like I ever had those gorgeous lush lashes that I see on others but they were fuller at one time. I’ve used a variety of lash serums so this isn’t my first trip to this ballpark.

Priori contains Triple Lipopeptide Complex to help with both brows and lashes. I’ve only used it on my lashes since I don’t like to use the same tube for both.

When I started using PRIORI my lashes weren’t batting very well. They had lost some of their oomph and their batting average was falling. I was obviously in a slump. But with time PRIORI has made a difference and I’m extremely happy about that. One day I realized that I had something going on when I put on my mascara. So I tried different mascaras and my lashes still looked lusher. I like the very fine wand that is used for application, it’s like applying liquid eyeliner but you don’t have to worry about smudges.

PRIORI Lash Recovery Serum contains Vitamin E and peptides to help with the growth. At $99 it’s not inexpensive but it works and that’s what’s important to me. At the moment Dermstore has 25% off for their anniversary so it’s a great time to purchase.

My life isn’t complete unless I’ve got a good eye cream in play. My triple base hit includes one of those with VI Derm Revitalizing Eye Cream. I’m an eye cream afficionado and it’s my strong point. I may be a leftie but I can hit it out of the park with the right eye cream. What I find with VI Derm is that it’s helped greatly with my dark circles and fine lines. I was also using The Ordinary Caffeine Eye on and off with VI Derm but I used it alone for the first several weeks so I know that it worked well.

Here are the key ingredients and what they do

  • Eyeseryl® Tetrapeptide-5: reduces the appearance of puffy eyes
  • Syn-Coll®: Tripeptide-3: reduces the appearance of wrinkles and firms the skin
  • Haloxyl™ Tetrapeptide-7: reduces pigment responsible for dark circles under the eyes
  • Hyaluronic Acid: retains moisture to plump the skin

Don’t tell me that you don’t want that happening for your eyes because I won’t believe it. Depending on my sleep habits the puffiness is usually not evident in the morning. My undereye area is lighter and brighter plus I’m just not noticing the fine lines. And it’s not that I need new glasses or a stronger magnifying mirror – I’ve got both! You don’t need a lot of VI Derm Revitalizing Eye Cream to make a difference.

So now my bases are loaded and I’m hoping that the next batter will come through with a great hit to get my eyebrows, eyelashes, and eyes in general to come home and score. Tune in next week to see if that happens!!  —  Marcia

Comments

  1. I have the worst eye bags so I need to try that eye cream!

  2. Such a great list of products! The eye cream is grabbing my attention right now, but I’m going to keep the others in mind should/when my eyebrows and eye lashes inevitably need a little extra love.

  3. I definitely need to start looking for an eye cream.

  4. I have about a million eye creams but I always forget to use them.

  5. That’s why I love beauty blogs! I always learn about brands and products I might never have experienced without those influencers bringing them to my attention. The first product, the Brow solution, intrigues me.

  6. Excellent post! You just gave me a really good idea and I don’t know why I didn’t think of it. I am a big fan of Amalie Beauty’s Wink Lash & Brow Gel because everything else I have tried burns my super-sensitive eyes. I need to find the ones that I couldn’t use on my lashes and use that on my brows. Thank you thank you

Its always nice to heard other people have problems with their brows. Way back I tweeted to a narror little line, it was the style then. So i hate my brows problems getting them to grow. I have been using something called mega lash eyelash & eyebrow enhancing serum. I have had dark circles most of my life. In my younger days if I wanted off work early I didn’t cover the dark circle.

  8. Great to know you got results with the lash product. My lashes have gotten thinner and less dark as I have aged.

  9. EES sounds nice! I was an over tweezer as a youngster. 🙂

  10. my poor piddly little eyebrows. I’ve just starting testing the EES

  11. Sounds like I need that eye cream! I’m using RevitaLash and ReviaBrow right now.

  12. Even my eyelashes are a issue for me, I need to check PRIORI Lash Recovery Serum… Thank you for this post

  13. The lash serum sounds promising. I use a different brand tho and it worked for me as well

  14. Why does everything I need cost so much?? Price of being beautiful I guess ? I really am thinking about the eyebrow serum though.

  15. I can always use a good lash serum, I don’t have an issue with my brows but my eyelashes could always be fuller!

  16. Treating the eye area is so important! I feel like the eyes always show if you’re tired or sick, and makeup can’t hide it.

  17. Jessica Scull says:

Love the sound of the lash serum!

  18. Totally a new to me brand! I am all about helping out my eyes so I need to check a few of these out! <3

  19. Lash serum sounds good. I’m going to consider it with the dermstore sale.

I received the samples that you sent to me, and oh my gosh was I so incredibly thankful! It wasn’t until I tried some of these eye creams that I realized how badly I needed some help with my under eyes. This definitely looks like something I need to try out!
