My Crest 3D White Whitestrips Challenge (and a giveaway)

I am a tooth person.  The first thing I notice on other people is their teeth, so I am a huge believer in the impact of a beautiful smile.  While I have used whitening products in the past, I have had difficulty because my teeth are sensitive.  I also cannot stand the taste of teeth whiteners.  I already use the Crest 3D White toothpaste, and I had read that the new Crest 3D Whitestrips were effective, good for sensitive teeth, and free of nasty taste.  So when Crest gave Beauty Info Zone a chance to do a fun Crest 3D Whitestrips ‘social experiment’ and to offer our readers a giveaway, I was ready!

Crest 3D White Whitestrips

To demonstrate the impact your teeth can make, Crest asked me to artificially ‘yellow’ my teeth and then record someone’s reaction.  I am a total glutton for punishment, so I decided to do this on Thanksgiving Day.  I hadn’t seen my brother Bill in over a month, and he was the first to arrive – so he was my guinea pig.

Here is how I looked before:

before the yellowing…

Here is a quick video intro of my plan:  The beginning of my Crest 3D Whitestrips challenge

And here is after. Wow that is awful!!

Oooooh gross…

Pretty disgusting.  That is NOT a nice gold tooth smile.

My daughter taped my brother’s reaction for us:  Crest 3D Whitestrips

Here are some pics if you prefer:

My brother seeing those teeth for the first time…

and he was definitely not impressed.

Needless to say, my whole family certainly realized the impact teeth can have on your look!!

Obviously, my teeth were excessively yellow.  But Crest 3D White Whitestrips ($49.99) are extremely effective on really yellow teeth, removing up to ten year’s worth of set-in stains.  In fact, they have a study that shows these strips whiten 25 times more effectively than a leading whitening toothpaste.  Check it out at their website, http://www.3dwhite.com/.

the best defense against my morning latte habit

It is necessary to make whitening a continual part of your grooming routine because every day your teeth can become more yellow from something as small as that morning cup of joe.

easy to use and they don’t hurt my teeth

A box of the 3D White Whitestrips comes with 20 Whitestrips that treat both your upper and lower teeth.

A strip for both your upper and lower teeth

There are two big benefits to these Whitestrips.

1.  They have an Advanced Seal no-slip technology, so the strips really adhere to your teeth without allowing the active ingredients to escape – no yucky taste, thank goodness.

2.  These Whitestrips use the same enamel-safe ingredient dentists use, so they don’t hurt my sensitive teeth.

For the best results, use the strips once a day for 20 days.  The strips are clear and they really stay put, so you can do whatever you’d like for the 30 minutes you have them on except eat.  I like to use them at night when I read before bed.  The Crest 3D White Whitestrips are excellent – they work, they don’t taste awful, and they are easy to use.  Here is your chance to win a box for yourself!

This giveaway is open through Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 11:59 p.m. EST.  The winner will be picked by Rafflecopter and will be checked for veracity. Entering is easy, so do it now – and good luck!! – Lisa
