I’m serious about Skinsonic Sirius Skincare System

I’ve read quite a bit about SKINSONIC by Sirius. This Sonic Skincare System comes with 5 heads for the handle: Cleanse (2), Exfoliate, Massage, and Hydrate. Most of what you’ll read about the Skinsonic talks about the cleansing that it does and compares it to a much more expensive machine. As much as I like the cleansing action and will talk about it, I love the other features even more.

Let me explain the system before going into detail. This handheld device is powered by 2 AA batteries which means as soon as you get it home you can use it. No waiting for it to power up. It arrives with the sensitive brush head on it, a base and then 4 additional applicators. There is a normal cleansing brush that looks like the delicate one but is black, there’s a massage tool and then there are two identical spongy applicators that can be used to exfoliate and hydrate. The system utilizes sonic technology that you find in toothbrushes and other skincare tools.

My absolute favorite use of the Skinsonic is the Hydration Applicator.  These heads go on and off easily, just a little twist and you can exchange the heads. I love cleansing and sometimes exfoliating with the Skinsonic, then drying it off and hydrating. For example at night I dab my moisturizer on my face in 5 spots (both cheeks, forehead, chin and nose) then flip the switch and allow this to lightly massage the moisturizer onto my skin. It feels luxurious and decadent to do this. If I have an area that’s particularly dry then I add another dab and go over that again. It’s also wonderful for using on the neck. I know I can rub my serum or moisturizer on with my hands but this does such a wonderful job with a gentle circular motion. Love it!!

The same applicator can be used for exfoliation too but since there are two included I use them separately. To exfoliate you apply a liberal amount of your favorite exfoliating cream either onto your face or the applicator. Power up and move this around on your forehead, nose, chin, and cheeks. You can go back to do a section more if you feel the need. Even though both of these “jobs” sound like they take a long time, in reality it’s a minute of your time. The recommended time intervals are 10 seconds for each cheek, 20 seconds for your forehead and 20 seconds for your nose and chin. My forehead isn’t really an issue so I spend less time there and more on my nose and chin.

The Massage Applicator is just fun. It makes me feel so relaxed. The sonic action is so gentle that it just feels fluttery on your face. You do this with a dry face. It’s amazing for an oncoming headache! Massage your temples and you’ll feel the tension lessening. Use it on any muscles that need relaxing too. It’s that versatile.

Of course the main purpose is cleansing and the job it does is just as great. Even though there are two different heads for cleansing, I prefer the sensitive one. This is not recommended for the eye area of course so remove your eye makeup first. Then wet the brush head with warm water, apply your cleanser and use the same timing and circular motions to cleanse your face. I find it removes my makeup very well and works well with my myriad of cleansers. I always have either a muslin cloth or my Body Shop flannel cleansing cloth nearby and remove any excess cleanser.  After running the machine under warm water to remove any soap from the applicator I’m done! Easy peasy.

Now for the great part: this 4 in one system is only $49.95. You can’t come close to that with any other machine on the market nor would you want to try them once you’ve tried the Skinsonic. They have a 60 day money back guarantee, that’s how sure they are that you’ll love this as much as I do. Not only that but they compare themselves to other machines knowing they’ll come out ahead. The replacement heads are just as reasonably priced ($14.95 for 2 or 4 depending on which it is).  To sweeten this even more, there’s free shipping.

I can’t rave enough about the Skinsonic Sonic Skincare System by Sirius. I’m quite serious about this! As an advertisement from my youth used to say: “try it, you’ll like it”. — Marcia
Here’s some great news…. I just found out that Prime Beauty Blog has a contest for this fabulous system. So while I can’t offer you one I can help you find a way to win. Go HERE to read Prime Beauty’s post and enter. Good luck.

  1. I have used my Skinsonic everyday since I got it! My favorite brush head is the spongy hydration head too Marcia. At first I thought it was a gimmick but I love it. This is the best beauty ‘tool’ to come around for a long time!

  2. Hmm.. now this has my interest. I’ve been interested in the other system, but haven’t been able to make that leap with the price tag. The various heads are intriguing..

..will definitely be doing some more research! :]

  3. I think this thing looks really fabulous. I love that it has different heads than the Clarisonic. The massaging head looks like it would be great on those knots from too much time on the computer and to massage those bumpy thighs. I have to look into this!!

  4. I so want this now. Great review.

  5. I’ve ordered Skinsonic; however, I can’t get any feedback from Sirius Beauty about my shipping process. What should I do because I’m afraid that my order might be lost while I found that my credit statement was cut off by Sirius Beauty. I can’t contact them. Can anyone help suggesting what to do.

  6. Natalie, I’d contact them through their website. I know there have been some changes there and I haven’t heard anything from them in a long time.
