The Freeze 24/7 line is all about instant gratification. Their products are designed to immediately reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles using the very latest cutting-edge skin care ingredients. But today I want to tell you about one of their products that isn’t focused on wrinkles. A favorite of mine from this line is the cleanser, Skin Glace Daily Detoxifying Cleanser and Mask ($65).
This is one terrific cleanser. It looks different from most cleansers, it’s a surprisingly pretty pearlized teal green color. Skin Glace does a beautiful job of cleaning your skin without drying it out, and it leaves your face soft and glowing. I found that it removes even the most stubborn makeup with ease. According to Freeze 24/7, the cleanser “contains a proprietary complex of Bio-transformed Rice Bran and Hydrolyzed Soy Protein for deep cleansing, maximum skin purification, detoxification and hydration.” I can’t say I have ever heard about either ingredient for cleansing before, but whatever they are they definitely work!
I use the Clarisonic, and this cleanser is fantastic with it – it’s very emollient and foamy so the motorized brush just glides along the skin. After cleansing my skin isn’t over-moisturized, and I find the cleanser does a flipping fabulous job of unclogging pores and getting rid of blackheads.
I almost always have issues with cleansers stinging my eyes because they are so sensitive, but I have absolutely no eye issues with the Skin Glace. In fact, my only issue is with the pump. Somehow I seem to get cleanser on the bottle every time I use it, so I feel like I am wasting some product. But it’s a small issue, and it’s a huge bottle, so the $65 price tag isn’t so bad when you figure the bottle will last several months.
You can also use this as a mask every day, just leave it on for five minutes before rinsing. Because it foams up, there’s no issue with it dripping or running. And boy does your skin look fantastic afterwards.
Freeze 24/7 is known for its instant gratification in the wrinkle department, but I love the instant gratification in the cleansing department. Skin Glace is definitely a cleanser you should put on your ‘must buy’ list. – Lisa
