What brand do you think you’ve used the longest for skincare? Long before I started blogging I kept CeraVe at the ready. It’s been a go-to brand for me for easily a dozen years. I’ve since discovered new products that they make and each keep adding to my admiration of this brand that we can all afford. CeraVe recently sent Beauty Info Zone several products, Lisa reviewed the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser along with the Healing Ointment while today I have three favorites to share.
The product I’ve used the longest from CeraVe is their Hydrating Cleanser. I am lucky enough to receive a lot of high end skincare products but what we all need are basics. This cleanser is the one I turn to when my skin rebels and wants freedom. The Hydrating Cleanser is meant for Dry to Normal Skin. It’s a creamy cleanser that removes the day’s oils, dirt, cosmetics, and skincare in a gentle formula. The cleanser is creamy and remains that way on my skin when I’m using it. Fragrance free (yea!) and hydrating it never irritates my skin. If I’ve suffered through breakouts or gone to the dermatologist CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser is what gets used for several days. I sometimes use this as a hand wash too since it’s very moisturizing but never sticky.
When I first started using this cleanser I really didn’t know anything about hyaluronic acid but as I’ve become more informed I was really excited to learn that this contains HA and ceramides. This and other CeraVe products offer a patented MVE delivery technology that provides a controlled release of ceramides and other protective ingredients slowly over time.
CeraVe Therapeutic Hand Cream is a great find. I didn’t know they made a hand cream until I received this but I’m so happy that this is mine. As a fragrance phobe I really prefer my hand creams to have none so CeraVe had me right there. But there’s more since this Therapeutic Hand Cream repairs my dry hands and helps protect them.
CeraVe develops all their skincare with dermatologists and this is one of their newest products. When your skin feels rough or dry or irritated you need to make the feel healthy again. Since it’s CeraVe it contains the essential ceramides, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid that they imbibe their products with. This non-greasy hand cream is very lightweight and takes such a short time to absorb. I’m back to typing within 10 seconds after applying it. Since I wash my hands constantly throughout the day I never feel like I’m layering on too much of a good thing. I also don’t feel like I’m wasting money as this is only $7.99. CeraVe Eye Repair Cream:
Anyone who’s been reading Beauty Info Zone for a while knows my obsession with eye cream. Even though I’d seen CeraVe Eye Repair Cream in drugstores, I was sort of snobby about it and never picked it up. Big mistake. This $11 eye repair cream does everything that the more expensive brands do but at a great price. The formula of this is great for day or night. Since it’s not greasy at all, it absorbs quickly so you can apply cosmetics shortly after. My eyeliner and mascara are not affected by my using this. The main goal of this eye cream is to reduce dark circles and puffiness while also protecting the delicate skin under your eye.
This little squiggle does the job for me. There’s no need to slather it on since this is enough for each eye. My eyes look brighter each day that I use this. Since there’s no fragrance I love to use it before bed too.
I hope CeraVe was the answer to my first question but even if it wasn’t, it could and should be now. You’ll thank me if you try any one of these, yes you will. — Marcia
