Eyedews eye masks have been part of our lives at Beauty Info Zone since April, 2013 when Marcia read about them and had to learn about these. An order was instantly placed and she fell in love. We now find that Eyedews has expanded and they are now called EYES by ToGoSpa. Not only do they make the original ICE WATER masks featured in Makeup Wars but they’ve added in “flavors”. They were kind enough to send us the new flavors to review and offer a giveaway for 2 of you.
EYES by ToGoSpa will take you 15 minutes to use. You can be a Pomegranate type or a Green Tea type or maybe you just want the refreshment of Ice Water. All of these are available to you from ToGoSpa. Each package contains 3 refreshing masks and are sold in packs of 2 for $25, so they are about $4 each. There are no dyes used in EYES products nor are there any parabens. Here’s what EYES by ToGoSpa tells us about
- Improves circulation and stimulates production of new, youthful skin cells.
- Relaxes, calms, and pumps up moisture-retention levels to new heights.
- De-puffs and reduces dark circles with skin-brightening ingredients.
- Relieves irritation and redness calming compounds.
- Minimizes pores with clarifying, cleansing oils.
- Hydrates crepe-like skin and resurfaces fine lines.
I was so excited to find that the old Eyedews had changed and improved. When they offered to send some of the new ones for testing and a giveaway I was even more excited.
To be honest, I can’t pick a favorite. I think all three are going to be what you are looking for when you need to look refreshed. My review is for Green Tea EYES but I recommend all three styles.
When you look at EYES the only thing you’ll notice is a slight color difference. Green Tea has a green tinge, Pomegranate a reddish tinge and Ice Water is clear.
The Green Tea with Taurine gel pads are great when you need a lift. Green Tea is known to be a super anti-oxidant that helps to combat the damage from free radicals. Those free radicals are all over the place causing aging. I, for one, don’t need anyone else to cause me aging, I do quite well on my own. Taurine enhances the green tea since it also provides provides the protection of antioxidents as well as being anti-inflammatory.
You can go about life wearing these. After a few minutes they don’t slip down and they don’t pull on your face. They are not only comfortable but they are totally refreshing. I don’t know about you but I’m happy to find that these soothe, lift, brighten, de-puff and hydrate my under eye area.
I recommended these too as a stocking stuffer. You can buy a two pack and split the packs up (or keep them all for yourself).
Marcia is right, these collagen gel pads are perfect stocking stuffers. One pack has three treatments and it’s a great way to get gorgeous before a night on the town. I am reviewing the Pomegranate EYES, which soothe, de-puff, and hydrate in just 15 minutes.
The good stuff inside includes aloe, vitamins C and E, and amino acids. Together they give a cooling effect to the pads (and if you have super puffy eyes, put these in the fridge for mega results). After 15 minutes my eyes are no longer puffy. Instead, they are super hydrated and those fine lines are much harder to find.
My biggest beef with similar products is the ‘slippage’ problem. It’s a pain to have to keep pushing the gel pad back into place. It definitely isn’t fun to have one fall into my plate of bon bons as I am relaxing. However, I am happy to report the EYES by ToGoSpa stay put. I love these collagen gel eye pads and hope to find a bunch in my stocking…Santa are you listening???
GIVEAWAY: EYES by ToGoSpa totally rocks. They are very kindly offering 2 US readers a sample pack containing 3 of each variety so winners will get 9 Collagen Eye Gel pads. The giveaway is open through 12/20/13.
