Youngblood Cosmetics has a very pretty new Spring 2013 collection. Pink lips, teal eyeliner, and a mattifier to keep away that shiny nose make for a beautiful spring. This collection is available on March 1st, so mark your calendars!
The Anti-Shine Mattifier ($36) is a compact mattifier that is smoothed on with a sponge before foundation. I use it after my regular face primer. You can also smooth more on throughout the day, but honestly I don’t need to - the morning application keeps me shine-free all day.
The ingredients in this absorb excess surface oil and balance the skin, so you stay fresh looking but shine free even when the temperature is increasing. If you have an oily t-zone, this is going to become your new best friend.
Ingredients include nigella oil for moisturizing and calming the skin; pumpkin oil to repair the skin; and tocopherol as an antioxidant.
The Incredible Wear Gel Liner in Lagoon ($21) is a very wearable teal with iridescent golden sheen. Look at how gorgeous this color is:
It’s beautiful on brown eyes, but it’s not super bright so pretty much any warm eye colors would look great with this. The gel liner is your standard gel liner, it has nice pigmentation and goes on very smoothly. I think the green shade is perfect for spring. I also love how it goes with the pink lipstick in the Spring 2013 collection.
The Lipstick in Debalicious ($19) is so pretty! I love pinks but usually Marcia snatches up all the pink lippies, so this is a delight for me. Debalicious is a creamy bubblegum pink. The wear is nice, and it leaves lips beautifully moisturized. Ingredients include sunflower oil, candelilla wax, and Vitamin E.
Put it all together, and you have a soft, pretty spring look. Nice job, Youngblood! This collection is available beginning March 1, 2013. – Lisa
