Who doesn’t want lush lips? I know I do. In fact, here’s a secret – when I was young, my brothers used to tease me by calling me ‘chicken lips’. Oh yes, I grew up painfully aware that my thin lips were definitely less than lush. I am always up for testing lip plumpers, and it was a happy day when LifeCell sent me their MaxiLip Lip Plumping Treatment to test.

What I like about this product is that it’s simple and easy. One tube is exactly what you need for one month of use, applying three times a day. This lip plumper increases the size of lips while also moisturizing thanks to the main ingredient, hyaluronic acid. The lip plumper temporarily increases or dilates blood vessels, which accounts for the added volume. In fact, LifeCell says that the daily use increases volume up to 40%.

While the wand makes it look like the plumper adds a pink shade to lips, it actually goes basically clear but shiny. It has a very nice slip, makes lips tingle just a bit, and is definitely comfortable.

As far as lip plumpers go, this is one of the nicest I have tested. My only issue is that this costs $49 but when something works it’s worth the price. Take a look at the website at lifecellcream.com/lipplumper to decide for yourself.  – Lisa

Is it a 5 minute miracle? A before and after of LifeCell All-In-One Anti-Aging Treatment

Have you seen the ads for LifeCell All-In-One Anti-Aging Treatment? They ask you to take a photo without makeup on, then apply LifeCell. Wait five minutes, take another photo…and you will be amazed with the incredible results. We were sent this product to try so I thought, ok…a before and after is always fun!

lifecell

I can’t believe the amount of celebrity endorsements LifeCell has, although there is no specific pitch-person. There are, however, a ton of photos of celebs holding the product and saying “Wow!”. LifeCell even says that it’s Cruelty-Free as the product is tested on celebrities, not animals.

LifeCell Anti-Aging Treatment

The LifeCell All-In-One Anti-Aging Treatment is an oil-free creamy moisturizer that is meant to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, tighten skin and improve elasticity, reduce undereye bags, and even skin tone. It’s one stop shopping skin care. The ingredient list is great:  shea butter, DMAE, Vitamin C, and Retinol. All heavy hitters in the skin care world, but of course they need some time to work…five minutes isn’t going to cut it. So what could account for a difference in just five minutes?

LifeCell says that the human eye can’t see a wrinkle. What it actually sees is the shadow made by the wrinkle. If natural light is bounced into a wrinkle it becomes invisible. LifeCell’s moisturizer has three-dimensional nano-prisms that reflect light, so skin looks far less wrinkled almost immediately.

Here’s my mom, sans makeup. I took her pic before applying the LifeCell, then five minutes after applying. The photos are unretouched.

So what do you think?  Do you see a miraculous difference? I see a difference. I think that the light reflection does provide immediate gratification. The ingredients are excellent and are proven to work on the various skin care issues.

What worries me is that you order a 30 day free trial paying only shipping and handling. I don’t know what happens after that…I just don’t feel like there is enough transparency regarding the price so it makes me nervous. I’m glad I was sent this product to try, but just looking at the website I don’t feel comfortable urging anyone to buy it.

If you’d like to check it out for yourself, you can find the LifeCell Anti-Aging Treatment online at lifecellcream.com.  – Lisa
