7th Heaven softens hands and feet with their great masks (giveaway time)

I sure hope you don’t get tired of me and my obsession with masks (and with having mask giveaways!). I don’t seem to get tired of using masks so I keep sharing them with you. Today I have some totally different masks from 7th Heaven for you. You know I love the variety, convenience, and prices of 7th Heaven masks. Well how about masks for your feet, hands, and fingers? They are as great as they sound.

7th Heaven Soften Sock Masques, Soften Glove Masks, and Strengthen Nail & Cuticle Finger Masques

I’ve got to start with my favorite of these three, 7th Heaven Soften Sock Masques.

7th Heaven Soften Sock Masques

My feet haven’t felt as soft in months. It’s better than a pedicure to treat my feet and lasts much longer too. If it cut my nails then it would be the perfect item ever. But I’ll forgive it since it makes my feet feel soft and conditioned for about 4 days. Taking a shower doesn’t even take away the effect of the moisturizing of these foot masques.

7th Heaven Soften Sock Masques

7th Heaven Soften Sock Masques

The booties are made of a thin plastic outer and a mesh inner which contains the softening ingredients. It has both Shea Butter and Almond Oil to nourish dry skin and help repair cracked heels. It contains Peppermint to refresh your feet as well as Soybean to rehydrate them so you’re left with soft and smooth tootsies.

7th Heaven Soften Sock Masques

These take only 15-20 minutes to use but they are so comfortable (and I can walk in them with my slippers on) that I usually forget and wear them longer. 7th Heaven is a cruelty free company that uses natural ingredients, in this case pressed peppermint, ground shea nuts, and pressed soybeans. When the time is up, remove and massage the lotion onto your feet. These are going to be so perfect in the winter when my feet take a beating. To Walmart I’ll be going to stock up on these!!

7th Heaven Soften Glove Masques

Similar to the sock masque is the Soften Glove Masque. While wonderful at this time of year, you can imagine what these will do for dry winter hands! My skin becomes chapped easily in the winter so wearing the Glove Masques will be even better when your hands have taken a beating. If your hands are always in water these will be a savior too.

7th Heaven Soften Glove Masques

With pressed rose petals as one of their main ingredients they are fragranced which makes them not quite perfect for me.

7th Heaven Soften Glove Masques

7th Heaven Soften Glove Masques

They are very comfortable and actually I could do most of the things I wanted while wearing them for 15-20 minutes though typing is iffy. Like the Soften Sock Masque, massage in the rich cream to keep your hands soft as can be.

7th Heaven Strengthen Nail & Cuticle Finger Masques

7th Heaven Strengthen Nail & Cuticle Finger Masques are a much better match for me and as much as I dislike winter weather I’ll be using these to save the skin on my fingers.

7th Heaven Strengthen Nail & Cuticle Finger Masques

Each package comes with 10 finger masques. What’s great for me is that I can use as many as I need and save the rest for later. My left hand takes more of a beating since I use it more. It’s always drier than my right and my cuticles dry out more since I wash my hands so often. The Strengthen Nail & Cuticle Finger Masques contain pressed argan seed oil and macadamia oils to help nourish the skin on your fingers and cuticles. It also contains juiced pomegranates for an anti-oxidant rich treat.

7th Heaven Strengthen Nail & Cuticle Finger Masques

These are a great way to treat yourself before you do/have a manicure too.  After 15 minutes remove them and massage. Aaah what a spa treat. You really want these if you have damaged nails.

All three of these are available at Walmart stores and online for $3.94 a package. You can order them online and pick them up in the store if you want too. Like I said, the foot masques are going to be my besties come cold weather with the finger masques close behind. —  Marcia

Giveaway information: As much as I hate to give any of mine up there is going to be a giveaway for 1 package each of Soften Glove Masques and Strengthen Nail & Cuticle Finger Masques along with 3 other 7th Heaven facial masks. This is open worldwide where permitted through 8/4/17 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. As usual if I can’t find your email subscription or your comment then you are eliminated. We don’t ask much of you on our giveaways but we do insist on that. Good luck and good tips and toes! – M

The Expedition Essentials Set is my first exposure to PurErb™, an herbology-based skin care line. This gorgeous hand treatment set includes Neroli Baobab Hand Balm and Hand Butter, both great for extremely dry or chapped hands. They come in a sweet gift box and I can’t rave enough about the fragrance. It’s sweet and floral but not overwhelming…to me it smells like lilacs and jasmine, two of my most favorite scents of all time. My dry, itchy hands love a layer of the balm followed by a layer of the butter, and my nose is in total heaven thanks to the incredibly delightful aroma. It seriously lifts my spirits and makes me so happy every time I use it!

Ingredients include exotic oils and butters including Baobab, Abyssinian, Murumuru, Moringa, and Macadamia.

Another great option is the purse-friendly Farmhouse Fresh Plum Chiffon All Purpose Balm ($12.50). This all-purpose balm works on every part of the body from hair to toes, and is slim enough to travel along with you on all your journeys.

I love this for smoothing dry winter hair flyaways, for conditioning rough cuticles, for soothing my chapped lips, and for elimating scaly patches on my hands. Ingredients include pure shea, cocoa, and mango butters. Oh, and the Plum Chiffon scent is amazing! Sugared plum roses….truly delightful.

Don’t fall into that candy and flowers Valentine’s Day trap…use this day of love to pamper your skin and your nose with these sweet-smelling, skin softening treats.  – Lisa

There are three products that make up the SPA SENSUALS COLLECTION by Peter Lamas. Spa Sensuals Energizing Antioxidant Body Lotion ($24), Spa Sensuals Rejuvenating Hand Scrub ($21) and Spa Sensuals Intensive Repair Cream ($21). All three products have different strengths of a citrus scent that are refreshing and pleasant.

Peter Lamas Spa Sensuals Energizing Body Lotion

Peter Lamas Spa Sensuals Energizing Body Lotion

PETER LAMAS SPA SENSUALS ANTIOXIDANT BODY LOTION can be used any time you need it – fresh out of the shower, mid-day, evening. It’s especially nice after a long day because it cools you down and moisturizes your dry skin. I mostly use this on my legs which get flaky year round. What makes this so different than other body lotions is the list of ingredients. They use a blend of Green Tea Extract, nourishing minerals and Chinese Herbs to penetrate into the skin. There’s a combination of Mango and Shea Butter that is extremely rich and creates a protective barrier that helps lock in moisture. This absorbs quickly so you don’t have to worry about sticky skin.

Peter Lamas Spa Sensuals Rejuvenating Hand Scrub

Peter Lamas Spa Sensuals Rejuvenating Hand Scrub

PETER LAMAS SPA SENSUALS REJUVENATING HAND SCRUB is my favorite item of the trio. As much as I like it now, it’s going to be even better once the cold weather hits. This hand scrub is similar to a body scrub but made specifically to scrub away the rough skin on your hands and get rid of the dead skin cells. It’s a salt scrub that uses Natural Sea Salt Crystals but then softens it with Mango Butter and Shea Butter for hydration. Lots of great ingredients like Vitamins A and C, Lemon Oil, Almond Oil and Grape Seed Oil. The texture of this isn’t what I’d have expected since it’s spongy feeling when you go to apply it. It’s fun to use something out of the ordinary. Just be careful with the oils in it since you don’t want to lose any of them.

    Peter Lamas Rejuvenating Hand Scrub

    Peter Lamas Rejuvenating Hand Scrub

Because of the oils you will have to rinse your hands well. What will be left is softer skin that look refreshed.

Peter Lamas Spa Sensuals Repair Hand Cream

Peter Lamas Spa Sensuals Repair Hand Cream

Follow your scrub with PETER LAMAS SPA SENSUALS INTENSIVE HAND CREAM. This cream glides on. It’s very quickly absorbed and leaves your hands well hydrated. They say that this hydration will last for 24 hours but if you wash your hands as much as I do, you’ll have to repeat a few times during the day to get that long lasting intensity. This too has ingredients you want like Grape Seed Oil, Macadamia Oil and Almond Oil along with Vitamins C and E. These antioxidants help with deeper penetration to keep your hands softer and younger looking. I think I’m going to start using this combination on my feet since they could use the exfoliation from the scrub and the hydration from the hand cream.

The Spa Sensuals line is sold both at the Peter Lamas website and drugstore.com.  I personally like to buy at drugstore.com because I can use ebates as well earn drugstore.com dollars. While these 3 products are ones you’ll want to start using now, I think when winter comes you’ll be even more grateful to have learned about them. — Marcia

My secret weapon for winter skin: Lady Soma Skin and Nail Treatment

accessnorthga.com

accessnorthga.com

I don’t know what the weather is like for you right this moment, but it is FREEZING here in Michigan!  Not just cold, either – it is that biting, painful cold that actually makes my car squeal in the mornings for the first ten minutes.  Last night I ran twenty feet into my local yoga studio and my hands and feet didn’t warm up until we were 45 minutes into Ashtanga.  That is some bone chilling cold.

To help deal with the nasty cracking, peeling skin I get from this super cold weather I have been reaching for the Lady Soma Skin and Nail Treatment ($16.99) that was sent to us a few months ago.  I just can’t rave enough about how great this thick and creamy skin moisturizer is.

Lady Soma Skin and Nail Treatment

The Skin and Nail Treatment is meant for extremely dry and cracked cuticles and hands.  It really makes a difference.  I tend to get hangnails anyway, and winters are just brutal for me.  Since I have been slathering this on every morning and night my cuticles have been perfect and my hands are wonderfully soft.  I also use this on my feet, and Lady Soma says it is great for scars and stretch marks too.

The main moisturizing ingredients are cocoa, shea, and kokum butter.  I have never tried kokum butter before so I think that is what makes this hand moisturizer really stand out for me.  It has no fragrance, is 100% natural, paraben and chemical free. If you want some relief from painfully dry winter hands and skin, I highly recommend Lady Soma Skin and Nail Treatment – it is an awesome moisturizer!  – Lisa

The Glossybox Subscription Box is $21 a month (or you can save more with a 3-month, 6-month or annual subscription.) Each box has a combination of deluxe and full size beauty products and the box that Glossybox sent to us for review this month is pretty impressive.

Glossybox 2014 December packaging

It only makes sense that the December Glossybox has a holiday theme. I adore the packaging, it is just beautiful. The box is adorable as well as sturdy and will definitely find its way under my tree this year. Once that gift is opened, I am taking my box back to reuse it again next year!

Glossybox 2014 December Subscription Box

Four of the five items in this month’s box are full size, with a combined value of $94…pretty awesome for a $21 box. The products in the December Box are what you need for soft hands, skin, and hair, plus fabulously festive lips and nails.

Glossybox 2014 December Subscription Box takes care of skin, hair, and hands!

Ritual Cosmetics Miracle Scrub in Ginseng & Ginko Biloba (full size, retails for $17):  I am so bad about wearing gloves…my hands always need a serious intervention. This is a scrub for hands (too fragranced for your face!) that does a wonderful job of leaving them soft and lightly scented.

Toni & Guy Prep Leave-In Conditioner (full size, retails for $17):  I have loved this conditioner for years because it gets rid of frizz and still leaves my hair bouncy. Most leave-ins are too heavy for my fine hair, but this stuff is the bomb.

NUXE Masque Creme Fraiche de Beaute (full size, retails for $32):  This mask has the most beautiful citrus scent, one that is light enough to work for skin care. It’s really amazing for dry, dehydrated winter skin. Great for after long holiday flights, too!

Bellapierre Cosmetics Mineral Lipstick in Burlesque (full size, retails for $20):  I only recently discovered the awesomeness that is Bellapierre Cosmetics – I reviewed the 5-in-1 Mineral Foundation HERE and the Mineral Blush, Lipstick, and Nail Polish HERE. The lipstick has natural waxes and mineral pigments, iron oxides and antioxidants including Vitamin C and Vitamin E. It is a creamy, smooth, highly pigmented lipstick. Burlesque is a fuchsia pink, but don’t let that scare you – this is a very wearable, festive pink that is party perfect.

Ciate Mini Nail Polish in All Aglow ($8)  I love mini nail polishes, and this one just screams ‘holiday’.  All Aglow is a golden shimmer with flecks of red – major holiday glam over a matte black polish!

The December Glossybox is a winner. Four great full size products plus a super cute mini, with a combined value that is over $70 more than what you pay for it. Gift yourself one of these before they are all sold out!! – Lisa

IROHA Masks to pamper and delight

Once upon a time Beauty Info Zone got a mystery package of goodies for possible review. Inside were two intriguing masks that Marcia and Lisa fought over. While we didn’t come to blows since that would ruin our manicures we did have to do rock, scissors, paper to decide who’d get to review the most unusual one. Lisa won that game but Marcia wasn’t a loser since the mask she is reviewing is one she is thrilled about.

IROHA MASKS have a variety of products that all use natural ingredients. There are so many types of masks that they make including new creamy ones and exfoliating socks. It’s a new world to explore.

MARCIA’S MASK: Pearl Extract + Deep Ocean Water

INORA Pearl + Deep Ocean Water Mask

INORA Pearl + Deep Ocean Water Mask

The first thing I noticed about this mask is that it’s got hyaluronic acid which is an ingredient that I’m crazy about. Hyaluronic acid helps redensify the skin and holds up to 1,000 times its weight in water. Hydration is important as you age. The second thing I noticed is what the Pearl Extract mask was composed of. It’s a tissue mask that contains 23 mL of natural actives to help with intense anti-aging results.

INORA Pearl Mask ingredients

Iroha makes 5 different types of anti-aging tissue masks. ALOE, GREEN TEA + GINSENG for purifying; CAVIAR + ARBUTIN for brightening; OLIVE OIL + WITCH HAZEL for nourishing; Q-10 + COLLAGEN + SOY for wrinkles; and PEARL EXTRACT + DEEP OCEAN WATER for lifting.

Iroha tissue mask

This Pearl Extract + Deep Ocean Water mask helps soften skin. You just can’t imagine how fabulous it feels once you remove it. The masks goal is to restore firmness and reduce spot appearance. With just one use though I can’t say it did that. But it did make my face feel firmer and wonderfully hydrated.

Iroha Pearl + Deep Ocean Water Mask

Iroha Pearl + Deep Ocean Water Mask

Before I used the mask I cleansed and took the advice of the video on the IROHA site and exfoliated first with my Foreo Luna. The mask itself is very wet, loaded with serum. It is very cool feeling on my skin without any tingling. Just an incredibly refreshing feeling like I’ve been taken away to a spa and gotten waited on by gorgeous men. There are eye flaps so you could do your eyelids but I preferred to put those close up on my lower eyelid rather than covering my eye.

Iroha - you can lay down and pull up the eye flap

Iroha – you can lay down and pull up the eye flap

Directions say to keep it on for 15 minutes but it doesn’t really dry and get uncomfortable so I felt like I could leave it on for as long as I wanted. Maybe next time I will. When you are finished you want to keep the benefits of the natural ingredients and use this as your serum. The mask and serum stayed moist and hydrating the entire time it was on my face. After I put on my makeup I was amazed at how soft and line free I thought I looked. The best price I could find on the masks was at their website but I don’t know the shipping cost. This particular mask is also found at Amazon.

LISA’S MASK: Regenerating Intensive Hand and Nail Repairing and Nourishing Treatment gloves with Peach

Iroha Regenerating Hand Mask

Iroha Regenerating Hand Mask

Well, not only is my mask unusual – my very first mask for hands! – it also wins the longest name award by far.  The IROHA Regenerating Intensive Hand and Nail Repairing and Nourishing Treatment Gloves with Peach Aromatherapy ($9) repairs and nourishes hands, cuticles, and fingernails. Each packet contains two gloves, so that’s one hand treatment.

Iroha makes 2 different types of hand treatment masks. Rejuvenating Intensive Hand and Nail Lifting and Firming Treatment Gloves with Rose Aromatherapy for lifting and firming, and Regenerating Intensive Hand and Nail Repairing and Nourishing Treatment gloves with Peach Aromatherapy for repairing and nourishing.

The gloves are actually sealed together along the bottom seam, which helps keeps all the great ingredients inside the gloves and ready for your hands. The serum inside has wonderful ingredients that include Vitamin E, Arbutin Urea, Grapefruit Extract, Green Tea, Orange Fruit Extract , Lemon Fruit Extract, Ginkgo Biloba leaf extract, honeysuckle flower, and olive fruit extract.

Using this hand treatment is easy. Just wash and dry hands, then tear along the seam to separate gloves and create the opening for hands. Put the gloves on and take a load off!  The longer you sit, the more time the active ingredients have to soak in and treat hands. It’s extremely relaxing to kick back and take deep inhales of the fresh, juicy peach scented aromatherapy. After at least 20 minutes, remove the gloves and massage in any leftover serum. This treatment left my hands extremely soft and hydrated. It is a great way to treat yourself, especially if your hands are a little beat up from gardening or housework. This treasure is available at Ulta for a luxurious treat.

Iroha Masks have been a pleasure to discover. It’s a great way to pamper and delight.

Miracle Skin Transformer Heal Everything Balm

Ok, I admit it – I am weird.  I plant and grow pretty flowers for inspiration.  That doesn’t sound weird, does it?  Except that I use the flowers I plant to inspire makeup looks.

Oooh, purple with just a touch of yellow...

My family says it’s weird.  If you read this blog, though, you probably think it’s pretty normal!

Gorgeous...light green with creamy yellow for the eyes and powder pink blush...

When I garden I don’t like to wear gloves.  I like to dig in the dirt, feel the dirt, smell the dirt…but I don’t like how rough and damaged my hands get from it.  I have basically become addicted to Miracle Skin Transformer Heal Everything Balm ($26) because it fixes all the damage I do to my hands whilst gardening.

Miracle Skin Transformer Heal Everything Balm

Miracle Skin Transformer Heal Everything Balm has over 30 moisturizers in it, including Tamanu Oil, Evening Primrose and Blue Mountain Sage Oil to help repair the skin; Organic Palm, Monoi and Moringa butters to hydrate; plus Japanese Licorice Root Extract and Manuka Honey to reduce irritation and fight infection.

This looks like a lotion but feels like a balm.  Once it’s applied, it almost feels like there is a barrier on your skin.  Skin is extremely soft and smooth but not sticky or wet feeling.  It doesn’t really smell like anything – just slightly clean smelling, I guess.

MST Heal Everything Balm - looks like a lotion, feels like a balm

All those great ingredients do lots of things – this balm is very soothing if your skin is irritated from the sun.  It definitely soothes dry skin and puts moisture back in, and it also protects it from the elements.  If your skin is irritated from waxing or shaving, this balm calms and reduces redness.  And it’s great to use over any weather burns and skin abrasions.

Miracle Skin Transformer Heal Everything Balm is available at Sephora, Bergdorf Goodman NY and online at Miracle Skin Transformer and Nordstrom.

I am loving me some Heal Everything Balm, it really helps me keep my hands looking great despite my constant quest for inspiring flowers!  – Lisa

What a great combination of colors to really make your eyes *POP*
