Click N Curl is the newest item in my quest for better looking hair. This is different from anything I’ve seen so it’s been interesting to use. Click n Curl comes with a handle and 6 rollers that click onto the handle. What Click n Curl is all about is saving you time while styling your wet hair. Instead of using a typical round brush just use Click n Curl as your brush BUT you leave the curler in your hair while you finish your routine. Take them out and your style is there, ready and waiting for you.
The most popular set is the Medium Full Set which comes with
- Brush Size: Medium; ~2 inches in diameter; best for hair at least 5.5 inches in length
- Set Includes: 6 brush barrels and one universal handle
All you need to add it a wet head, a blowdryer and a smile.
Information from Click n Curl:
What makes Click n Curl unique? Click n Curl comes with a detachable handle that turns brush heads into rollers, allowing each section of hair to cool and set while you continue styling. Heat is what alters the molecular bonds in your hair and permits a temporary change in shape (straight to curled), but it is the cooling of the hair that allows the new shape (the curl) to be retained. After drying a section of hair with your blow dryer, simply detach the Click n Curl brush barrel and allow your hair to cool while you attach the handle to the next brush barrel and move on to the next section of hair.
All of the items in the Click n Curl are very lightweight. There’s a reason for everything that they do. First they recommend using a blow dryer because of the way heat changes your hair. The rollers have a ceramic coating which not only is easier on your hair but it helps minimize frizz. The tops of the rollers are flat so they can stand on end making it faster for you to attach the handle.
When I was photographing I was concerned that the handle wouldn’t click on and off easily but that was dispelled with my first use. It’s extremely easy to remove the handle and add a new roller. I like leaving rollers in for at least 10 minutes to give my hair some volume that will last. With only 6 rollers though that can be a struggle. What I’ve been doing is drying my hair with the Click n Curl and leaving the back damp. I’ll put on my skincare and makeup, take out two of the rollers and finish up the back of my head with those two.
The Click n Curl is one of the easiest hair stylers I’ve used and it’s fast to use. They are no clips, the vented brush heads stay in place pretty good though not perfectly. Ideally I’d have this Medium set as well as a Small set. Well Click n Curl thought of that by having a Build Your Own Kit ($70). You’d pick the size you wanted in a full set and then do a smaller add on set with 4 additional brush rollers of your choice. The Small set is recommended for hair that’s at least 4″ long, the Medium set for hair that’s 5.5″ long, and the Large set for hair that’s 7 inches long. It’s not recommended for very long hair though so if you are lucky enough to have hair 15″ or longer this isn’t going to work for you. All of the Full Size Sets are priced at $49.99. An Add On set is $30.99 (but it’s less expensive to buy the Build Your Own Kit). You can even buy individual roller brushes for $8. They’ve thought of everything.
If you are always looking for a new way to style your eye especially in a fast easy way, consider the Click n Curl since it just might make your mornings a little less hectic. — Marcia
