I know, I know, putting oil into freshly washed hair seems counter intuitive…but it’s a wonderful thing when you use Organix Penetrating Oils ($8).
Organix sent the BIZ two of the Penetrating Oils (previously called Dry Styling Oils); I tried both the Hydrating Macadamia Oil and the Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Oil. In general, both make hair extremely soft and frizz-free. The keratin in the oils strengthens hair and make it wonderfully shiny. Either one works for any type of hair from super dry to super oily.
The top photo is the new packaging – my samples are in the older packaging. New face, same product! The Repairing Awapuhi Ginger Oil smells wonderful. This is the one to choose if you use a lot of heated styling tools on your hair. Just apply about a nickel size of oil to towel dried hair then style as usual.
The Hydrating Macadamia Penetrating Oil is the one to choose if you have very dry ends or overly processed hair. It really puts moisture back in without weighing down fine hair. It is also terrific on dry hair. Just a few drops smooths my hair like crazy.
I am completely sold on the Penetrating Oils. My hair is very, very happy when I use them!
And speaking of dry oils…be sure to also check out the Moroccan Argan Oil Dry Body Oil ($6). I use dry body oil every morning after I shower, and this is one of my favorites.
This huge bottle is extremely inexpensive, and it’s a wonderful way to hydrate skin without feeling greasy. Smoothing this on after a shower is heavenly, and the price is definitely right!!
You can find Organix products pretty much everywhere. Easy to find, inexpensive, and effective – what’s not to love? - Lisa
