Give me eye cream now! Give me eye balm immediately! Give me eye serums ASAP. If it’s for the delicate eye area I want it. I’ve reviewed a lot of eye creams so picking just 10 (or 9 as you’ll see) was extremely difficult. Some came to mind instantly because I’m either using them or I’ve bought them again. Others are ones I really enjoyed but picking between them was a difficult choice. My Top Ten are ones I would recommend without a doubt so let’s see what they are:
I don’t know what it is about this fall, but I have had allergies like crazy. My eyes have been so puffy it’s awful – for a while it constantly looked like I had been crying nonstop…not pretty. So I started using StriVectin-TL 360 Tightening Eye Serum ($69) and I was thrilled with the results.
I adore the applicator for this anti-aging eye serum. It has a metal tip that feels very cool on the skin. Squeeze a little serum out and smooth it on with the metal tip, and puffiness instantly subsides.
This serum tightens up the skin around the eyes, so while it reduces puffiness it also firms and hydrates. StriVectin has some pretty amazing before and after pictures, check them out here:
See how it takes away that puffiness and crepey look?
360 Tightening Eye Serum is a light serum that sinks in quickly. It has no discernible scent, and it’s easy – and very soothing – to apply. This is a real winner.
So, puffy, droopy eyes conquered, I looked to see what else was drooping…and realized my ENTIRE BODY was succumbing to gravity. Enter StriVectin-TL Tightening Body Cream ($59).
This is an extremely rich body cream that helps to tighten up the skin on any part of your body that needs firming, like knees, elbows, and arms.
I was skeptical, but the before and after pictures looked very impressive. Check it out:
StriVectin says that the “NIA-114™ + protein tighteners enhance skin density and restore skin barrier to help retain vital moisture.”
I have had excellent results, especially when I got disciplined and began to use this every morning and every night. Now my knees, thighs, elbows and upper arms look so much better and a whole lot younger.
I think both the 360 Tightening Eye Serum and the Tightening Body Cream are great. If you have problems with puffiness, crepey skin, or just need a little extra assistance in your fight with gravity, you need to check these out. - Lisa

As time goes on we are learning more and more about what ingredients are reliable to be used in our skincare. Wai HopeTM Organic Skincare was created to only use ingredients that they trust to be the purest of their kind. The creator, Vincene Parrinello, has studied something called Biomarine waterTM, a unique restructured water containing the exclusive red Fijian seaweed, Callophycus Serratus. For the last 7 years she has done clinical studies showing that this rare seaweed has anticancer, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral properties. For Wai HopeTM Organic Skincare the secrets of life are in the sea so all their products contain “WAI Restructured Water”, Biomarine Water that has been enhanced through their proprietary ozonation process. Vincene Parrinello is a cancer survivor so what goes into Wai Hope products is exceptionally important to her.
I’ve been using two Wai HopeTM Organic products for the last several months: Seawater Recharging Mist ($40, 4 oz) and Eye Dew Hydrosurge ($90, 1 oz).
Seawater Recharging Mist is a mist I use at different times of the day. I like using it on damp skin right out of the shower as a toner. It helps soothe skin and diminish broken capillaries. As I get older I find that I have more and more broken capillaries and want to prevent these from continuing. My mother is 93 years old this week (happy birthday Mom) and I notice these on her fair skin and how it bothers her. I’m hoping that by working on this early I might be able to keep this from happening to me. The other time I like using the Seawater Recharging Mist is when I’m going from day to night. I don’t want to wash the day off but I want to refresh so a spray like the Wai Hope is perfect.
This is excellent for all skin types but if you are someone (or know someone) with dna compromised skin due to chemo, radiation or medications this is especially soothing and helpful. As a cancer survivor Vincene Parrinello wants only the best for everyone. The ingredient list is only short of amazing. Here are a few highlighted ingredients:
Wai Restructured Water– is the specialized Biomarine Water™ developed for us in the DermOxyZone™ system and the Wai Organic™ product line.
Red Fijian Seaweed– Callophycus Serratus has clinically proven anti-cancer, anti-bacterial properties global patent pending for exclusive use in Wai Hope™ and DermOxyZone™ products developed by Vincene Parrinello.
Wai IRC™ - is the specialized, proprietary ozonation process a nd delivery system used in Wai Hope™ products.
Aguape’ is a plant that acts as a natural water filter.
Gravata is a fruit like a pineapple used to exfoliate the skin and inhibit facial discolorations caused by tyronase destruction.
What I love most from Wai HopeTM Organic Skincare is their Eye Dew HYDROSURGE™. My very favorite skincare items are eye creams, eye balms, eye serums. I’m all about the eyes. Protecting the thin, delicate skin around my eyes is important since that’s where age shows first. The texture of this is a cross between a gel and a serum therefore I’ll describe it as a light gel. It wears beautifully under makeup, never interfering with concealer or foundation. It leaves my undereyes feeling dewy but not wet. I don’t worry about mascara or eyeliner smudging there since Eye Dew dries down well.
I can’t explain this product better than their website so let me share this with you: “This new formula is a patented delivery system of antioxidants in the BHW Complex and our multi peptide complex. Our exclusive botanical form of Hyaluronic Acid (HyalueraseTM) visibly reduces dark under eye circles and replenishes the elasticity around the outer eye area. Results are more dramatic when used over a period of time. You can expect smoother, younger looking skin around this delicate, vulnerable area! Stop concealing and begin “Eye Dewing”.”
Let me talk about their claims
1) Reduces dark undereye circles – I have horrible insomnia. I’m lucky to get 2 to 3 solid hours of sleep a night. The next morning you can imagine that looking at my undereye area is no picnic. Since I’ve been using the Eye Dew Hydrosurge though I’m noticing a difference. Yes, there are a few mornings that absolutely nothing will help; but the rest of the time I’m not showing those sleepless nights. I credit Wai Hope Eye Dew Hydrosurge for that.
2) Replenishes the elasticity around the eye area – I think this goes hand in hand with the results I’m seeing for dark circles. I have a few lines around my eyes but relatively few when I take care of my eyes using this light gel formula.
I can use Eye Dew Hydrosurge both morning and night. It doesn’t interfere with any makeup I’m using. My goal is to fight off the signs of aging which is why I love a product like Eye Dew. If I can lessen the lines around my eyes without surgery then it’s worth a little extra money to me. This too is loaded with great ingredients and is paraben free:
- Threonine, Serine, Lysine, Acetyl Tyrosine, Leucine- Potent natural “peptides” that stimulate collagen synthesis, reduce appearance of lines and wrinkles- giving skin a smoother texture.
- Malus Domestica- apple stem cell extract that preserves the youthful texture and vibrancy of the skin, by diminishing the multiple line effect around the eye area.
- Resveratrol- cripples damaging effects from oxidizing free radicals that contribute to cellular degeneration which is linked to the cellular aging process.
- Palmitoyl Pentapeptide- stimulates collagen synthesis reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
While there are many skincare lines available out there for us, I think you need to look for a line like this that uses only these natural ingredients. On the days I take care of my adorable grandson I don’t put anything on my face after my shower except for these two Wai Hope products. I might not use anything else for hours but I know that my face is protected. Their motto is so inspiring: Hope for your skin, spirit and life™. I hope I’ve inspired you to look into this great line. — Marcia
I have a story to share about my eyelashes. I was always envious of people with full lashes. I always have had these short little stubs that never enhanced my eyes. Since I’m all about eye makeup this was a shortcoming, in more way than one. Along came some of the lash growth serums and after much consideration I decided to buy one. It was Nordstrom’s Anniversary sale and they carried Beauty Society’s Enormous Lash with a special of buy one, get one. Since my sister was interested in this we bought it and excitedly started using it. We both had the same reaction – stinging, burning and nothing happened. I gave it 4 weeks in spite of the reaction but I just couldn’t take the stinging any longer with nothing to show for it. Research led me to RapidLash which was half the price and got oodles of raves on message boards. I purchased it and to my delight there was absolutely no stinging and no burning. I used it religiously for 6 weeks every single night and noticed a considerable difference. I finally had eyelashes. I finally could curl my lashes and they’d stay curled. Happiness ensued.
I’ve since experimented with other brands and have been able to maintain what started although this past summer they didn’t seem quite as lush. When RapidLash offered to send me one to test I was thrilled to be going back to this old favorite. This is actually my third tube of RapidLash since I’d bought two prior to this. I love what it does to my lashes. When I got this again I used it nightly for a month; I’m now using it 3 times a week. The only bad thing in my opinion about lash growth products is that if you want to keep your lashes looking lush you do need to maintain it. Even though RapidLash says the tube is enough for 2 months my second tube of RapidLash lasted over 6 months and was still going strong. Iended up tossing it for sanitary reasons even though I had no problems with it in any way.
The wand tip is wonderful. It’s thin enough to keep the formula on your lashline and nowhere else and it’s strong enough to do the job swiftly. I wish I could find an eyeliner brush this size and sturdiness.

RapidLash is sold at beauty.com, skinstore.com, dermstore.com, CVS.com and on their own website. It retails for $49.95 but I paid 20% less both times I purchased it.
My lashes are full now, there’s volume where there was none before. They are longer though not super long. My sister’s lashes on the other hand are super long but she’s younger than I am so maybe her “youth” helps. The major difference though is that I had almost no eyelashes on my bottom lashline. Now I actually have eyelashes. They aren’t long, they aren’t lush, but they are there. Thank you to RapidLash for the reminder that I loved you two years ago and I love you still. — Marcia
It’s the weirdest thing – sometimes when I get up in the morning, my eyes are clear, my under eye area isn’t too dark, and I have no bags under my eyes. Other mornings I get up and my eyes have bags so big, if I were flying somewhere an airline would charge me for them. What’s a girl to do? One awesome solution is Chella’s Anti-Fatigue Eye Mask Kit ($45). Fifteen minutes in the morning and your eyes look brighter, plus your bags are sent packing.
I find this to be a very effective eye mask for brightening and de-puffing the under eye area. It saturates your under eye area with collagen and amino acids, cooling and shrinking under eye bags. It also lightens dark areas and softens fine lines. Plus it’s just fun to use.
Inside the kit are products for four treatments. There are four Anti-Fatigue Masks, which are the fabric patches that are soaked in treatment fluid and then placed under the eyes.
There are four Anti-Fatigue Eye Mask Activator tubes, this is the fluid in which the masks are soaked before applying.
Also included is a packet of the eye cream, which you put on after the mask is removed.
Here are the masks and activator before beginning the treatment. The plastic tray actually holds the masks one on top of another, and the indentation allows for the liquid to soak in without spilling all over.
Here are the masks after putting the activator on top. It only takes a few minutes for the activator to completely soak in. I like to do this eye mask when I wake up with extremely puffy eyes, and Chella recommends using it once a week for four weeks for the best results. I put the activator on the masks, then apply the masks underneath my eyes.
They stay on with no extra help, the activator makes them very adhesive. I go about my morning routine, leaving the masks on for 15 minutes. After that, the masks remove easily, and I gently massage in the serum left on the skin. That’s followed by the eye cream, and voilà! Bright, soft, and de-puffed eyes.
I love this eye mask, I think it’s a fun treat for your eyes that has noticeable results. If you are checking out Chella, this is one item that should end up in your shopping cart! – Lisa

Aveeno has a new addition to their terrific Positively Radiant line called the Eye Illuminator. This unique eye serum is housed in a curved applicator with a brush for easy delivery. I find it to be very hydrating and gentle to the delicate areas around my eyes. It helps reduce puffiness quickly and over time is supposed to help with dark circles. I haven’t been using it long enough to know about the dark circles but the immediate effect is quite good.
The serum is part of the Aveeno Active Naturals line. It contains Total Soy Complex to work in combination with Vitamin B3 to even your undereye skintone for a healthier looking glow. I like to apply it occasionally during the day to help rehydrate that area. There’s a soothing cooling feeling when you apply it.
The Positively Radiant line contains formulas to improve 5 factors of radiance: 1) tone 2) texture 3) blotchiness 4) dullness and 5) brown spots. The Eye Illuminator will help with tone, texture and dullness. The good news is that it’s only $14.99 wherever Aveeno is sold.
Aveeno not only sent this to test but they want to send one to a Beauty Info Zone reader so she can see the radiance and hydration that the Eye Illuminator can produce.
