Books are in my blood. I have loved everything about books since I first learned to read. As an elementary teacher I tried to instill that love for books into my students. I read novels to them often, I had a huge library of books and I had listening centers with CD’s and the accompanying book. Each month my students got the opportunity to use the listening center for a week and they couldn’t wait for their turn. We did the DEAR program (Drop Everything and Read) every day.

Books are still in my blood even though I don’t always have the time to read as much as I’d like. Therefore I use Audible. com to supplement my book time. I have an audible novel on my iPad and on my phone for use in my car. It makes my driving time much more enjoyable and a lot more productive. At the current time I have Harlan Coben’s novel “Six Minutes” narrated by Scott Brick on my iPad so I can listen to it at home and in my auto. He’s one of my favorite authors and I’m anxious to get his next book “The Stranger” from Audible. com for my listening pleasure.

They have over 150,000 books from Best Sellers to hot hits to every type of fiction and non-fiction you can think of. They even have children’s books to help you encourage your youngsters about the beauty of a novel. With reluctant readers you can teach them about the magic that can be gained through literature this way. One of my favorite stories from my classroom was “Miss Nelson is Missing” by Harry Allard and it’s only 99 cents on Audible .com and that’s with the images.

Norton Security with Back Up

I’ll bet that you can think of at least one person…and perhaps that person is yourself…who has had problems with stolen or compromised electronic information. I just lived through having a credit card number stolen last month. Thank goodness my credit card company realized that it was highly unlikely I would be purchasing four yearlong memberships to an internet gaming club!

If you’ve been celebrating Valentine’s Day with your significant other for a long time it can get into a rut. There are new ideas in the Valentine’s Day Magazine from The Good Stuff on Coupons.com. I don’t like doing the same thing over and over so finding something new and different is to my liking. You can click on the magazine cover above to see the 56 pages filled with ideas.

One thing I’d like to do if I could figure out the logistics of it would be to fill my husband’s car with helium balloons. Since this year it’s a Saturday I wouldn’t be interfering with him going off to work and I think it would be fun to do. Plus I love hearts so they’d end up in the house where I could enjoy them. Going out to eat on Valentine’s Day isn’t for me. We dine out a lot but we avoid the busy days since it’s not quite the same. Instead I’d like to surprise him by actually making dinner myself (a chore to me now that the kids are grown). Valentines dinner on wooden background

Ideas from Coupons.com Valentine’s Day Deals include ways I can save money with their coupons as well as new ideas on celebrating. And be brave and celebrate more than just one day – your valentine should be surprised many times during the year.
