I tend to go for pastels and Birthday Suit ($12) is a huge favorite of mine. It is such a pretty, feminine sheer light pink. I love this shade for spring…it feels light and breezy.

Then again, sometimes I don’t want to be all naked and pure…I want something edgy and unexpected.  Hard to Get ($12) is a color you will want to get, because it’s a truly fabulous gray. I put this on thinking I would wear it for a few days and ended up liking it so much I wore it for almost three weeks!

Chrome Girl also has everything you need for a perfect mani that will last. The Base Coat ($12) is the one with the pretty blue tint. It strengthens nails and helps protect them from any staining. The Base Coat also helps your polish go on nice and smooth. If you have natural nails you will definitely want a bottle of this.

The Top Coat ($12) is the one with the slightly pink tone. It goes on clear and gives an ultra high gloss to your tips.

My absolute favorite is the Cuticle Oil ($14), the one with the green tint.  This smells FANTASTIC!  It smells like a juicy, ripe melon…I keep it next to my bed and every night I apply it to my cuticles while taking big huge inhales. You’ve got to check this out.

I thought I would want to go girly for spring, then I ended up preferring the opposite with Hard to Get. Whatever your preference, Chrome Girl has some great options. Take a look online at www.chromegirl.com.  – Lisa

Chrome Girl Nail Lacquer

Chrome Girl Nail Lacquer

The first time I wore CHROME GIRL was in 2013 when the company was brand new and only had created 18 shades of nail lacquer. They’ve now been in business for 3 full years and their inventory has grown and grown. You have your choice of over 46 polishes.

CHROME GIRL sent Lisa and I several polishes and treatments and I’ve had the pleasure of wearing two of the three polishes that I received. I wear polishes for a full week so I really get the opportunity to see more than just their beauty – I test wear time. I won’t keep you in suspense since the two I’ve worn have lasted the week. The worst I’ve seen is a little tip wear on a few nails towards the very end of the time. Otherwise they win the gold medal.

Love Note is a beautiful true red cream. There’s no orange or blue to it. Just a beautiful red that flatters my skintone.

I couldn’t have asked for a better shade for the month of February or any month actually.

The second one I wore had me panting with excitement. MERCURY IN RETROGRADE is the one I grabbed out of Lisa’s hands when we deciding who would review each one!

Look at this beautiful shade. It’s like being on an island at sunset and being mesmerized by the water. It appeared more blue on my nails than in the bottle but that didn’t take away from the shimmer and shine.

You can see the depth of the shimmer within yet this is not a polish that will give you trouble removing it. It removes just like a cream polish, nothing makes it adhere with flakes.

I have one more polish yet to wear but I just couldn’t wait to share these two.

Barely Legal is a wonderful sky blue cream that I know will wear just as well as its pals. It fits in very well with the Pantone Color of the Year for 2016, Serenity Blue. I’ll be sharing this with you in April when the skies turn blue again.

I’ve saved the best for last. This is the only 8-free nail care product in the market. That means it is produced without: Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate, Camphor, Xylene, Acetone, Silicone. Chrome Girl is a cruelty-free company that is made in the US and has polishes that are safe for every age.

Take some time to peruse their website to see what shades draw you in. I have my eye on at least half a dozen. — Marcia
